We really liked this place. It's a bit hard to find tucked away in sort of an industrial area but upside is plenty of easy parking! It's got the vibes of a small family run business which we really liked and want to support; and everyone we talked to was super friendly and helpful. The inside has a few tables but overall isn't really a cafe you'd post up and do work in. Feels more like a grab and go kinda place or just eat your stuff quickly and be on your way - luckily we came for the food not the ambiance. The churro concha was excellent (filled with dulce de leche) and overall not too sweet. The classic chocolate concha was good too, fluffy pillowy and the right amount of sweetness. We got a guava rose iced tea as well. Good selection of flavors like guava, hibiscus, mango :) yum. Lastly we tried the tamales. One green and one red and both were excellent as well. Would definitely considering catering them from this place if we host a big event in the future or picking up a bunch of morning pastries when people are in town!! read more

Was running my errands and looked on Google to find a coffee place. Took a while to find the place, it's in the warehouse area. They were out of vegetarian empanadas ordered chili and tomato tamales and Mexican coffee. I took it and ate in my car. Coffee was delicious and tamales wasn't bad. I've seen Cafecito at the Fremont market for years, and just tried it for the first time. I asked for a Mexican coffee, and the wonderful person there offered up the mocha instead. How did they know EXACTLY what I needed in that moment? I'm not sure. But it changed me forever. I will now seek this out anywhere I can. You ever have coffee at someplace you've never been to, and you feel like you're floating on a cloud? Yeah, that happened. But it was also the best chocolately blend of coffee ever. Like an elevated Dunkaccino (for my east coast people). It instantaneously improved my mood. My seasonally induced depression was gone, I was jumping through the streets. Sometimes you need an injection of something different (like a Mexican bakery) within Redmond so I went out of my way here - seriously the location probably is cheap, but tucked so far in the back corner of an industrial park that no traffic would ever consider driving to. I know conchas are popular and classically representative of Mexican culture, but judging from here it may not be my thing; sizing was good, but maybe I expected some more soft density to them. The churro concha being slightly filled internally was the best, meanwhile the Oreo one lacked flavor. The chorizo empanada and horchata were just ok enough. I do however love the guava and cheese hojaldras, which alone made me come back. Service is best described as quiet, after two visits. For a place that's so hidden and maybe could use more business, I might think there could be some more lively/welcoming personality. read more

Atmosphere: cafe really does seem out of place in this business park. The interior is small with only a couple tables to sit at for sipping and snacking. Service: order and pay at the counter. Menu: screen on the wall behind the pastry case. Pastry prices are not listed in the case. The menu doesn't list pastry prices either aside from the savory pastries. Pricing is a bit on the high end for the pastry content. Conchas: very lightly sweetened bread with a crumbly topping of equally lightly sweetened flavoring of your choice. The churros flavor has some sweetened filling inside that gives it more depth, which I prefer. Hojaldra Pina: pineapple strudel. Very sticky and flaky and very good. Has a slight tang. Hojaldra Guava and Cream Cheese: guava and cream cheese strudel. The guava is pretty good and flavorful. The pastry is very flaky and light but there's a satisfying filling to pastry ratio. Was at the farmer's market and had to try this drink. The sweet lady at the booth told us they only use real fruit, and after trying it I can most certainly vouch that it was real mango. Their service was kind and fast even though the shop was busy with customers buying more of the same too! Absolutely exceptional!!! My husband and I discovered this place by sheer luck! We are from Olympia but were close to Issaquah because my husband had some weekend work training in the area. We decided to try out some local spots in Issaquah and enjoy the sunshine when we stumbled upon the Saturday market! There we saw the conchas that cafecito had in their display case. Our eldest teen absolutely loves conchas so we bought one of each flavor to try. Red velvet, churro and classic. The lady at the booth was so sweet and friendly. She asked if we were sure we didn't want any tamales, of course we got three to try. I wish we bought more! Everything was delicious and I would travel far again just to have more!! This hole in the wall business is heaven sent. I ventured into this fine establishment this am and boy was I taken back by the amazing smells of cafe de Olla and freshly baked Pan Dulce. They had just baked the pan Dulce and it was EPIC!! I used to live in LA where it's panaderia central and never had I had pan dulce this good. It's Legit. They have a variety of pan dulce, tamales, empanadas and agua Fresca. Yes I said TAMALES!! We came to this bakery while roaming around the SLU Saturday market. Nice set up, with eye catching bakery items. Service was good. We ordered their:- Nutella Concha:- Definetly no Nutella filling, rather chocolate paste, at least that's what it tasted like. The outer was dry and crumbly. Inside semi soft brioche bun with chocolate paste filling. Pass Ninos:- Which is vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and coconut flakes. This was a good one. I visited this local business during the SLU Saturday market (it was clutch as this was the last day of the market for this year as summer is over) and had a positive experience. They have a variety of baked goods like concha (Mexican sweet bread) and other stuff like pan de muerto and empanadas. They also have cafe de olla which is a Mexican spiced coffee. I got the coffee and the churro concha which totaled a little under $10 after tax. The concha is fairly sweet and texture similar to that of a scone. It was interesting since the concha I had in Mexico are softer and fresher so maybe it needed some reheating for it to be more enjoyable. There's still the outer slightly sweet shell which is good. There's dulce de leche filling inside that's nice but a bit on the sweeter side. The cafe de olla is sweet, spiced, and slightly fruity (orange) and I really enjoyed it. I haven't had this type of coffee before despite a few trips to Mexico in the past. It was about $4.50 for 8oz or almost $6 for 12oz which is a bit steep, but this is one of the better coffees I tasted in its purest form. Overall, this is a solid Mexican bakery and coffee spot that satisfied my sweet tooth. read more

This is really a hidden gem, emphasis on the hidden. Head to the back of the business park and you will find them in the same building block as Cypress Tree. They are usually open Wednesday - Saturday. They always have a small but solid selection of pan dulce, as good as you can find in LA. There are also always a few adventurous takes on traditional items, a concha de churro was the one I tried this week, *so* good! The pastry dough is light and flaky.
