We asked for a 2 teared cake and cupcakes for our wedding. She more than came through. All I told her is that I wanted something ethereal and that the colors were white burgundy and gold. She produced a gorgeous cake and gorgeous cupcakes, which would have been enough but holy crepes, that FLAVOR ... It was the most delicious cake I've ever had from the frosting (which I normally can't even stomach) to that amazingly spongey, rich and mouthwatering cake. I could not have dreamed of something better for our special day. I would 100/100 recommend her for any event if you are looking for something heavenly, breathtaking and beautiful! She was friendly, informative, and communicated so well. I ordered lemon bar tarts, key lime pie tarts, pistachio cream puffs and chocolate mousse cream puffs. She has lots of flavors, ideas, and is even accommodating with some gluten free, dairy free and vegan items. I would absolutely do business with her again. I hope the locals from the party do too!

We hired Christina for our wedding after I spent months trying to find someone that not only makes…read moregreat cakes, but also offers more than just macaroons and cookies for a dessert bar. Our wedding was last week and Christina absolutely delivered! We ordered basically everything on her menu including 2 types of cake (classic vanilla, chocolate with peanut butter and banana), brownies, lemon tarts, 2 types of galettes, cheesecake, and panna cotta with rainier cherry compote. Everything was a major hit! We are lucky our planners saved us a box with some of each or we probably wouldn't have gotten to try anything (and we thought we overordered). The favorite was definitely the panna cotta (although I also loved the lemon tarts and my husband the brownies). Christina was so helpful in planning how much we needed and was extremely flexible as we changed our minds. We couldn't have asked for a better baker for our special day.

When meeting for our tasting, we went with the more extravagant 8 flavor option as my husband is a chocolate fan but I am not...this was well worth the price as we got 8 mini cakes to try which meant plenty to take home and enjoy over the weekend! Christina won us over with her flavors and enthusiasm, she provided some off the menu suggestions for mixing and matching sponge and fillings which was awesome. Ultimately, we settled on a mix of a traditional wedding cake (we were so pleased to get more than one flavor choice), along with a smaller gluten free cake and a number of sweet treats to appeal to a wide range of dietary restrictions and palates. When it came to design, Christina was very attentive to our inspiration photos/vision but also mindful of our budget as sugar past dahlias are not easy or inexpensive! When we discussed incorporating our dogs, she had a vendor lined up to make figurines and took care of the ordering process once we provided her some photos. Ultimately, she knocked it out of the park both with appearance and taste! I am hopeful that she waives her fee minimum in the event we want a one tier anniversary cake (-:

We wanted something unusual for a wedding that would leave an impression. Valeria delivered on that goal and then some. Most of my guests had never even heard of a mousse cake before, and now I think for many it's their new favorite dessert. The little cakes I asked for were colorful and beautifully decorated in exactly the colors and shapes I requested, they added a wonderful touch to the presentation and vibe of the wedding. They were of course also delicious, both the regular ones and the gluten free ones. Speaking of gluten free. We had multiple gluten free guests including the maid of honor, Valeriya took care to make sure that the gluten free cakes were kept properly separated to avoid cross contamination, she also managed to make them a different shape and color than the others to make them easy to spot, while somehow managing to keep them beautifully on theme. Our gluten free guests were floored by how tasty they were. Valeriya manages to make a wonderful gluten free dessert that avoids the common shortcomings of a lot of gluten free baked goods, and that really brought an extra spark of joy to our guests. I could go on but long story short, I recommend From V with Love Cakes 100 times over. We went with the strawberry vanilla bean and for gluten free the raspberry pistachio flavors and loved both, but she has many others to choose from to match your tastes and occasion. I will hopefully never get married again, but I'm sure to have other big events in my future, and I'll plan to reach out to V for all of them.

Very disappointing experience for a birthday cake order for my little one. She completely messed up…read morethe custom cake toppers I ordered. Even though I shared the exact placement she cut up the name and stuck them to the cake board by removing the backing which she wasn't even supposed to remove. She even missed one letter from the name during pickup and didn't even notice until my husband pointed out. I would have appreciated if they reached out to me if the toppers were confusing. The cake was also disappointing since the jelly part didn't thaw even though it was picked up at 12 PM and was in the fridge(not freezer) until 5:15 PM and then it was completely outside until 7 PM. The jelly part was very hard to cut and such a waste of money, since I paid for a premium mousse cake. I have two stars because she agreed for the partial refund for the messed up topper. The refund was only after I reached out to her about the cake after our party. I have added the inspiration and the output(name changed for privacy).
