We were throwing a double 60 year old birthday / 40 year anniversary party for my in-laws (that I absolutely love, so the party had to be fantastic). We skimped on the venue, the rentals, the linens, the centerpieces but splurged on the food and the dj. When I say splurged, keep in mind we are very "thrifty". Amato came up with a fantastic dinner / appetizer menu for a crowd of 90 people (20 kids) and 4 generations. I also prefer fresh non processed food wherever possible and he met my criteria and then some. So I had to scramble and send the menu to the venue, have them print and then cut apart and tape in front of each dish.
