There is a reason for that...They know what they are doing and the customer service there is outstanding. That being said, we just went in the other day to upgrade our phones and buy a new computer transferring the data from our older one which we bought from them. Had a great experience with Adam, the store owner. He helped us get precious family photos into the cloud off of two old Macs that were too outdated to connect to the cloud and then, without additional charges, pushed photos off of old cds as well. We only asked him as an after thought on our part and there was no reason he needed to do that. He took the newer model Mac we had and gave us above and beyond its resale value for a trade in. I once spilled some water on my MacBook. My laptop would not boot up and I lost ALL my data. I took it to Mac Outlet and they were able to fix it. They also were able to retrieve all my data. My battery was low and they replaced that as well. Just the other day, I took my laptop in because my battery seem to be running low. They realized that it wasn't long that that the battery was replaced. They did the right thing and replaced the battery with no charge. Whenever I go in, I always seem to have a lot of questions and they always take the time to answer them. On top of all that, they are very friendly and very enjoyable to work with. I just had a fantastic experience getting my three year old MacBook repaired. My battery had worn out, the keyboard started to stick, and my speakers were no longer working. I worked with the God Tech (my term) Marcos Chavez. They had all three replacement parts in stock. I dropped the Mac off at 11 AM, and Marcos had everything replaced, tuned, and 100% functional by 2PM. He was courteous, knowledgable, thorough, and professional. I would give him 10 Stars, if it was an option! I recently had some tech issues with my laptop. Files wouldn't open, apps wouldn't work, and all of it a mystery of an epic AND urgent proportion. Like many of us, my laptop is the cornerstone of my business. Without it, I'm dead in the water. Which was where I was when I reached out to the Mac Outlet in Englewood, and found Marcos. I phoned the shop, and he spent a significant amount of time trying to help me troubleshoot. He was unrelenting in solving the problem, calming in the heat of my frustration and panic, and respectful and supportive when I was hard of myself, asking "what did I do to make this happen"?? By some stroke of genius (HIS) we were able to at least get files to open and at first run, thought all issues were solved. Until the following morning, when my calendar wouldn't open. Another major necessity. This time, I grabbed my laptop and off I went for an in-person diagnosis. Again, he was thorough and dedicated and encouraging. And of course, he fixed it. Many computer techs are knowledgable and committed to their service, but the way Marcos managed my emotional state (a woman in panic mode is not an easy place to be), makes him not only excel at what he does, it also makes him one of the "gifted" ones, in my book. read more

I've had macs for 30 years. I normally sell them myself, but I've been busy and thought I might try and support a local business. I had a few phones around and I knew about what they were worth, took them in and was given as estimate and told to come back the next day because the person that cuts checks would be in that morning. Arrived, handed over the items and waited. No customer service, no politeness, no 'this will take a few minutes.' Guy ran a diagnostic, kept me waiting, and then told me he'd give me half of what I was told the day before. Nope. I'll sell 'em myself. Rude. Poor customer service. I do not recommend. read more

They have 15% screen repair coupons sitting behind the counter and didn't even offer one while I was paying for my iPhone screen repair . When I asked about it they guy just shrugs his shoulders. Top notch customer service here. ***updated I wrote the original review right as I was leaving the store** I went back in a few minutes later and questioned the guy at the counter about why he never mentioned the coupe when they are sitting right there in plain view especially to a repeat customer. I asked for a simple 15% refund for my repair bc that's what the coupon was for . He did one better and refunded the entire cost of 97 dollars . And apologized; also the owner called me when he saw the one star review and asked if there was anything he could do. When my last Mac was trying to head to Apple Heaven I wanted to put it on life support so I could save up for a bright, shiny new Mac. So, I went to the Mac Outlet. They fixed the black screen for me and it lasted long enough for me to do said saving. Plus the guys that work here are super sweet. One was so nice he even offered to buy me dinner. Wait, what? Moving on, they also sold me my (Yelp) red iPhone cover and an airport card for my big Mac - the computer, not a burger from a unmentioned fast-food chain. These folks changed the battery in my iPhone last March 2019 and my phone heats up a lot since the change. I took the phone back and the owner of the business told me that they guaranteed the batteries but that he did not have any technicians at hand that day because they both got sick the same day. I returned a week later and this time the sales person today (09/13/ 19) told me that they only guarantee the batteries for 90 days and that I was out of luck. The battery they put in is just 5 months old!! This is not the first time I had troubles like these with them. This store use to be a great place to have your Apple computers and phones serviced, but in the last few years service and quality have declined considerably. I will never be back for any repairs here, and if you are considering to use them, I suggest to look somewhere else. read more

I have an older Mac laptop. Adam was honest about sinking a lot of money into my laptop. We did the diagnostic $39 test and they found water on the graphic card. They cleaned it up and said they didn't know if that would solve it. I've used the laptop about 6 hrs since then and it's been fine. Called to just get simple information because I didn't know what was sold at the Mac Outlet and the manager Tracy was extremely rude, and short. Didn't seem to want help or to have any customers come in at all. I've never had any manager speak to me like that over the phone. Not sure if he was having a bad day or is just an angry/ sad person. I was looking to buy a laptop and in about 2 minutes decided I would not purchase anything here because the manager had horrible customer service. I told him I didn't feel like I was getting great customer service, but that I appreciated his time and hope he had a great day. He said "yep" and hung up. I've been in customer service my entire life, and even on my bad days don't feel called to treat customers like that. Im not sure if it is because I sound young or am a woman, but it felt like he legitimately didn't want to make a sale.
