Worst service ever. I came on Wednesday already knowing what I wanted so I went straight to the cash register. After I waited for her to ring up 2 customers, she then said for me to wait cuz she had to help 2 customers on the floor. She could've told me that before I waited for her to ring 2 customers. So I left & ordered it online to be delivered to store to avoid delivery fees. I went back today to pick up, went straight to register. One person was in front of me. It was taking forever. FINALLY, a person came out from the back but she wasn't going to help me... who has ALREADY PAID & just doing a quick pick up! She was going to help someone on the floor. I always have a good experience at this store. Whether I'm purchasing something or coming in just to ask for a sample of a new product, I always feel welcomed at this location. Frankie, the assistant manager assisted me and she was very sweet and welcoming. This location has a nice layout as well. Terrible customer service. Honestly so shocked at the lack of courtesy and respect. Came in today, Saturday 7/6 around 1pm with my sister. There were 2 girls working, didn't get their names. We were in a hurry, my sister just needed to buy 1 lip liner. Went to the register to check out, one of the girls behind the counter asks my sister for the email associated with account. My sister says she doesn't have an email, and that she would just like to buy the lip liner. She proceeds to hand my sister a sheet of paper to write her email, and tells her "I'll be right back" and then goes to help another lady who just walked into the store?! We stood there so confused, waiting for her to come back so we could buy the lip liner and she didn't, she starts putting makeup on the other woman like she wasn't just talking to us?! Literally treated us like we were invisible. The other girl at the register went into the back room, and when she came back out we tried to tell her we were in a hurry and she cuts us off saying "I'm on my break" in a rude way then hurries to the back room to avoid talking to us any further. She also had food in her mouth behind the register and was chewing as she walked away. You guys can check your video cameras too, to see the interaction. We ended up leaving the store, and the girl didn't even look at us as we left. I understand that sometimes stores are understaffed, but that was beyond terrible customer service. It would have taken her 30 seconds to check us out. Management, train your employees. We will not return to this location. You're better off going to the MAC counter at Nordstrom or to Sephora where they know a thing or two about customer service. read more

MAC cosmetics workers are always terrible. They all have the attitude that they're better than everyone else for some reason. Maybe it's because they hide behind that thick mask. One girl working today on one customer for a good 20 minutes at the cash register. I asked her if anyone else was working and she said it's only her and I could come back later. Well isn't that a nice suggestion. COME BACK LATER LOL. I waited at the register and another girl came out. She decided to help a mother and daughter next to me and ignore me. I came in today and met Aly! She was AMAZING!! She's very passionate about her work and it shows! She gave me a PERFECT shade match. She's very thorough and asked about my routine and made a product recommendation. Her product knowledge is impressive as well. She's very friendly and made me feel very comfortable the entire time I was there. I walked out a very happy girl!! I got the Fix+ Spray, lip primer, and her recommendation was the Hyper Real serumizer. I'm so excited to try the serumizer, especially after she broke down the product and the use. Came in to pick up a foundation and forgot what number I was since I recently changed my color. The lady working used her brush to try on a shade and the next morning I woke up to this monstrosity. I have sensitive skin, but I figured they clean their brushes in between clients I guess I was wrong. I spent over $100 my sister who spent significantly less then I was given a gift I was not offered anything. I guess my gift was the gift of adult acne.. This location is always busy. So customer service may be hit or miss. The chances of the product that you want being in stock may also be hit or miss. Most recently I had a great encounter with a female employee (3.8.18). I was stoked to try the Studio Waterweight Concealer ($23 for 0.30 US oz). The end result is for a more natural finish. This employee found the correct shade for me. TIP: I usually apply this with a brush for fuller coverage. A little goes a long way. Select sheer/pressed powder ($28): Personally I don't use too much of this, but it does help to combat shine if you have oily skin. More importantly, it sets your foundation and concealer. I would say this has more of a matte finish that is more natural-looking. TIP: This product contains silica. I suggest using it sparingly to prevent "flashback" in photographs. Another tip: I use my own brush, but it comes with "its own suede-finish sponge." I wanted the same employee to check me out at the register, but she got swamped so she handed it to another chick. This girl entered my name & email address incorrectly into the rewards system. This after repeating them three different times. I wish she had shown me her computer beforehand, but thought she got it right. Stopped by to check out the lipglosses. I picked one and was approached by a staff member who tried to sell me some other products. I said no thanks I just want to pay for the lipgloss so I can get going. She asks for my email and I'm like no thanks i don't want to give my info. She asks for my last name I'm like uh I said I don't want to give any info, I just want to buy the lipgloss she says ok and we start walking towards the registers when I'm intercepted by the assistant manager. She asks if I'm ready to check out. I say yes and she asks if I've ever tried the lipgloss I said not that color but I tried it on my wrist. She asks me for my email and I say no thanks again I'm just trying to pay and go. She says you should try it on with the tester and if you give your email you can return it if you don't like it. At this point I'm walking out and I tell her nevermind I'll purchase it online. She's stumbling over her words still trying to convince me to give her my email. Girl give it up! You just lost a purchase. Idk if it's Mac's policy to have associates get emails but they need to stop or they're going to continue to lose customers to the online market. read more

I have been here numerous times over the past two or three years and I have never, ever once had a bad experience as stated by some of the other Yelpers. It even amazes me at some of the stuff I read about people's experiences here. Maybe people are too picky or I'm too laid back? Who knows but here goes my latest experience: It was a Saturday which means I expected a long wait and bad service but I was wrong! As soon as I walked in with my two teenage daughters, we were immediately helped and with a pretty smile and great service! I wish I knew the name of the two clerks who helped us and did my daughters makeup. One was a pretty petite Asian, she did my daughters makeup and made her feel like a movie star. The second one who helped us was a pretty blonde, very nice and the girls complimented me and my daughters, so thank you for the nice compliments and great service. We will be back for more, we are pleased with our purchases . Also, I wanted to point out that the male clerks who were there this past Saturday March 29 were very cool and very welcoming. One had tattoos, tall and very nice and funny. Like I said, service was great, not one single complaint from either me or my two daughters. This review is particularly for Raul the store manager. He did my makeup in 2010 for my sons' baby shower and I looked absolutely flawless! Since then I got my makeup done by two other employees and 1. Made me look blah and the other put way too much makeup. 6 years later I was able to get Raul again for a wedding I was attending and never fails he did an amazing job! I placed an order online for in store pickup. When I arrived, I walked to the register to pick up my items. The wait was long, and that location always seems to be understaffed. The cashier asked for my name and went to look for my order in the back area. When she returned, she asked for my name again because she wasn't able to find my order. After a few moments, she realized that my order was sitting by the register. I asked her if I could exchange one of my items for a different shade. She seemed bothered that I even asked and explained to me she would have to cancel the entire order, issue me a refund, and then ring me up again. At this point, the line behind me was growing. So I just asked her if I could return the item instead. She was ok with that. I walked out with my order when I looked at my items I realized I was missing my foundation. I had to wait in line again and wait for her to add the missing item. My samples and bonus gift items were also missing but at that point I just wanted to leave. read more

Why oh why do I incessantly continue to punish myself?!?!?!? Am I a glutton for punishment??? Someone please point me to the nearest psych ward before I loose my mind!!!! Yelp please I beg of you please please allow for negative star ratings. Some places do not deserve a single star! And to move past the ranting, all I can say is that this MAC location has not changed much less improved their customer service. The employees come and go but they leave their detestable and arrogant attitudes like an odiferous pair of sneakers lingering behind to be picked up by the next generation of contemptuous employees. I repeatedly get ignored and passed over for the teenybopper wearing 10 layers of make-up that can literally be cut with a knife. If these MAC employees had half a brain they would realize that the better profit margin lies with an adult shopper who more than likely has better financial means to spend a rather substantial amount of money as opposed to the tween spending her allowance. I came in looking for a lipstick. I had no idea what lipstick. The girl just sent me to browse, then cleaned off the ones I wanted to try. What I really needed was for her to pull the ones that would look good on me. If you introduce me to something beautiful chances are, Im going to buy it. This place gets packed. Especially with young girls who try everything on with no intention of buying anything. Seriously they should have a time limit on how long one can just stand there looking at lipstick. What can I say... All mac locations are pretty much the same unless you go on a Monday or Tuesday between opening and noon. The workers are not as helpful if you go when they are busy because it is all about sales, and they want you in and out. If you go during the not so busy hours, then you will notice that they take their time with you and help you with any questions you may have. Other than that I don't suggest going unless you need to pick up something really fast (know exactly what you want). Other than that the location is like all others, busy and the same set up and display. read more

This location has slow services . I came here today to get my makeup done. I was advised that in between customer they would work on my makeup. I was at the location for about 1.5 hours and they hand not stated on my make up. not prepared any make matching. Within that time there were less than 15 customers. I am unsure what the holdup was at the register but the line seemed not to move. 45 minutes into my wait a third employer arrived but never came out to help customers. Today, was a big day for me and I wasted time at this location waiting. By the time, I contacted other locations they were booked . I would say do not come to this location to get your makeup done. I have been a faithful Mac customer since high school and honestly I have seen Mac's customer service plummet over the years! I do have to wait patiently for someone to assist me most of the time because even if i do ask for assistance, it takes a while for an employee to actually assist me. Now, back to Denise. She approached me right away! I went in looking for a lipstick and lip liner. She did not make me feel rushed at all. I tried on many different shades and liners.
