I have been here many times but this last time was gaslighting special. Don't expect me to believe black tea is clear red, and a dollop of shredded brown meat placed on top of chucks of potatoes fried up is Hash. I have had corn beef before here and it was reddish and crispy flavorful and mixed in and fried up with the potatoes. Don't know what they we're trying to pull off here. Wow- a cool little joint in Grants Pass. Came here with my wife, mom & aunt to celebrate an early Mother's Day (and moms birthday). A short wait and we scored a 4 top; the dining area is tiny and cramped but it's kinda fun. There's an outdoor seating area if the weather is nice. Mimosas menu is diverse to say the least. Don't settle for the standard OJ and champagne. Try a new flavor! There's a serve yourself coffee bar, so be sure to pick a cup and fill up while you peruse the menu. Beautiful place to eat at. They recently opened indoor seating in the back. It's a little echoey in the room and hard to hear with other people there but super cute. They also have lots of local art on the walls. They had an open serve yourself coffee set up which was nice. I got the French toast biscuit with fruit it was great but very small serving size for the price. And it didn't come with anything else like and egg or sausage but very very thin slices of not quite ripe fruit. My husband got a burrito and that was large and worth the price. A popular place for brunch, which is exactly why we were here last weekend. There was understandably a bit of a wait and I noticed several empty tables that eventually were cleaned off so the queue moved at a fairly reasonable pace. We were seated outside and the weather was perfect (it doesn't even look like there are any indoor tables at this point). I like that there are plenty of fresh, veggie, gluten-free options and good coffee. The Eggcellent Day and Hash It Over were our two menu choices for the day. The server gave the option to split the cheesy grits and the potato latkes half-&-half and that was the best idea ever! The potato latkes were so good...but so were the grits! I ordered 'up' with the bacon and was so excited over the meal that I hadn't even noticed that the meat didn't come out with the meal. The server brought the bacon out and there was only 1 piece. The food was delicious so I didn't complain and just decided that next time I just won't pay $5 for 1 piece of bacon. Holy cow! This breakfast spot is incredible. We came on a Wednesday morning so there was no wait. The staff was attentive and friendly. When we arrived we got coffee from their self serve area in the corner, I loved it becuase I could put as much cream in my coffee as I wanted! I split a large blood orange mimosa with my husband. It wasn't much different than regular orange but was still good. The real star of the show was the food. The soup of the day was perfect for a rainy day. The sausage soup had beans and potatoes, Swiss chard, carrots and celery... it was full of flavor and oh so delicious. I ordered something off their specials for the day. It was a French toast waffle sandwich. While it sounds sweet, it was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The pickled shallots and thick cut candied bacon were a great combination. I am not usually a grits person but I ate all of those cheesy grits up, oh my gosh I want more. My husband ordered home made creamy corned beef hash off their menu with a house made English muffin on the side. He loved it. The English muffin was served with a marionberry jam and the combo of the two was an absolute must to try. I was so thrilled about this breakfast, I can't wait to come back. Absolutely love this place!! I can't say enough Jill and Louisa are THE best waitresses !! The food is all locally sourced and non GMO and you can tell by the taste. It's a little spendy but 100 % worth it. I bring all of my out of town visitors here so they can have the best food in town. I hope they open for pop up dinners or just plain normal dinner someday, because if breakfast can be this good I know dinner would be truly amazing and service would be just as good as breakfast is consistently. The outside patio looked lovely, but we chose expediency and opted to sit inside. I liked the kids meal options, it made choosing individualized noms easy. Everything was so lovingly crafted in each meal, it was heaven to eat the food here. If you love quality local fare, this place should be on your goals list. I will be back everytime I drive through the area. I never really understood why this place had a crowd waiting every weekend. We decided to try it one week day a few weeks ago. It's a very tiny place...5-6 tables. The food was good, not great, and just because the names of the dishes are cute, it's the same old tired breakfast food. In the end, the promise of something different wasn't fulfilled. Absolutely amazing, it was out first time, and even though we waited an hour in the heat this Saturday on Labor day weekend it was worth the wait. Sometimes small towns have too generous of ratings for sub par restaurants, because it's all they know. Ma Mosa's rating however, is true to the establishment and it should really have a higher rating average! This coming from someone who is spoiled with bougie breakfast places in So Cal. They have cozy indoor seating options (tables and bar) and outdoor patio seating. When we walked in for breakfast we were directed to the corner for self service coffee. My husband and I love that they serve organic coffee and specifically from Rogue Roasters which we already know and love. For breakfast I had "Hash It Over." It was superb! I'm usually used to dry corned beef at restaurants, but here the meat was so tender! The biscuit and homemade jam that came with it is making my mouth water as I type. It was amazing. My husband had the huevos rancheros and he loved it. The server made a sneaky move and asked if he wanted sausage or bacon with it - assuming the dish came with it by husband ordered bacon, realizing after the fact there was an up-charge. That's called assuming the close folks! I love that they do their best to serve organic ingredients and partner with local farms listed on their chalkboard. Can't wait to come back! read more

Went with a bunch of people for breakfast. Went early to avoid the rush because they are so popular. Unfortunately my friend all knew what they wanted to I was rushed to order. I ordered the huevos rancheros. What a big mistake! They came out and looked a little too modern. Black beans instead of refried which was fine but I wasn't expecting that. Could have been on the menu but I never had a chance to read the description. Now there were a LOT of beans. Way more than should have been. Eggs were cooked perfectly. I bit into them and they were all cold! The eggs were kinda warm but most of the beans and the rest were not. We asked about it and the server said that's the way it's served. Uh. No, not real huevos... the whole thing should be warm. The black beans should be mashed. The server asked if I would like something else as I said I couldn't eat it. So I ordered Latkes. They took forever to come out. My friends kept telling me how great it normally is, but I don't think I will go again... read more
