Where the experience fell a little short for me was the level of personal attention. Once my technician finished, she quickly packed up and disappeared into an employee area behind a closed door and didn't come back out. I later noticed a small piece of nail or debris near the corner of one of my toenails, so I had to flag down another employee to find her so it could be fixed. I also would have appreciated a little more assistance after the service. At many salons, the technician will help with things like rolling pant legs back down, removing toe separators, putting shoes back on, or even helping retrieve a credit card while the manicure is still fresh. Here, I was left to manage all of that myself. Thankfully, I was able to move slowly enough to avoid damaging the polish, but those small extra efforts make a service feel much more attentive. The end result was very good, but I think the overall experience could be improved by being a little more personable and going that extra step for clients.

Today I arrived at 10:03am, and by the time I worked my way up to the counter, at 10:10 am I was told I would need to come back in an hour to see Lana since she was already with a client. This is common and fine, especially if you have a preferred tech. So, I was more than happy to return. I returned under an hour later at 11:05am and was told she was already with someone else and I mentioned I was back in less than an hour later. That's when the receptionist could have cared less. She stated she didn't tell me that, and that it was someone else, which it was. The lack of communication and care clearly relayed we don't want your business, or you can just keep trying. The dismissive attitude was clear. So, time to move on. What a shame. I have come here for years and now none of that matters.

I was finally acknowledged and was given instructions after I stated what I wanted. Kelly came over to complete my service. She didnt speak much at 1st, but she warmed up. She noticed I wasnt having a good day. It was very kind of her to be concerned. She did a good job on my service with correction, but a couple of things were not done that well. The building looked nice and clean. I used the restroom. 2 things stood out. #1 My pet peeve in ladies restroom, no hook for our purses! #2 spiders of all shapes and sizes were in cobwebs in there. I got out of there as fast as I could. I think I may return to see Kelly. I just want to make sure she doesnt feel the pressure of completing my services quickly to help someone else

Hours wasted in this empty salon and she painted my nails to only look horrible still. Please close down this shop or hire younger people that know what they are doing. The place I originally went to my nail girl left and I couldn't follow her. Parking is a breeze and the location is in Elizabeth. Adriana truly is very personable and makes sure you are comfortable first by offering water, tea, etc. she made me a green late with chia seeds!!! Paraffin wax treatment was so awesome and my hands felt really really soft!! Been doing a renovation for months now so I needed help in the moisture department! Her attention to detail is really good and her music choices playing in the background are awesome. At one point we both were singing "open arms" by Journey!!! Good taste in 80s love ballads! So wonderful that I will not be going to anyone ever again here in Charlotte before I move. She has updated her room from the pictures that are on here, I did not take any because I was enjoying talking with her and choosing my polish, etc. But the room has a modern, warm design to it and I could have sat in there all day. She has all organic teas or chai lattes that she makes for you. I had organic peppermint tea while she did my one hour pedicure. She has both conventional polishes but also organic. I chose organic since I use all organic and natural products at home. This is what drew me to Organic Nails by Adriana. She takes her time, she will even help choose polish for people like myself who can't figure out which one I want! All of her lotions and spa products are organic/natural. She will chat with you (which we mostly did: learning about each other's family, talking about work, vacations, etc.) or she even says "I don't care if you sleep, this hour is for you". She does her job with passion and she does her job well. $40 dollars for a wonderful, perfectly executed, one-on-one, beverage included, relaxing organic environment pedicure? Yes.... worth EVERY penny! I cannot sing Adriana's praise enough. I will absolutely return. I know Yelp does not have a lot of reviews on her, but if you go to the site where you schedule an appointment for her, there are over 200 wonderful comments on how great she is. My nails look wonderful, I had a great time getting to know Adriana, and I appreciate her passion for her work and providing the best for her clients. 5+ stars!!
