Had our first restaurant experience since lock-in. We had a very wonderfully strong rum and coke and an 805 (rotational tap). The best ever stroganoff made with prime rib. Flank steak cooked perfectly with mushrooms. Finished off with a key lime pie served in a cute mason jar. Food was amazing. Restaurant of course clean and took COVID precautions but everything still felt relaxed which was refreshing. Charlotte was our waitress and absolutely killed it. Great humor and recommended dessert. We were in town to visit family and looked for a good restaurant to grab some dinner before heading to the hotel. Got to M3 about 530 and was seated right away. Restaurant was pretty full even at that time. Our server, Charlotte, acknowledged us right away and said she'd be right with us. We ordered drinks and an app, coconut shrimp, which was delish!!!! I ordered the prime rib sandwich with fries and my husband ordered salmon tacos with onion rings, which was super yummy. Onion rings were awesome! When my sandwich and fries arrived, Charlotte said, "I wasn't completely happy with the look of these fries so I am having a fresh order sent out for you" True to her word, a steaming hot batch of fries came in in just a few minutes. With a side of the best ranch, and I am a ranch snob! And my sandwich was delicious too. So in the end, I cannot wait to come back to this restaurant and while the food was perfect, Charlotte is really what made the experience fantastic. The manager and owners of this restaurant really have a star there. Although we are only in town for a few days, we will absolutely be coming back before we leave. read more

First time here. We, a party of 5, came to celebrate a friend's birthday. We arrived around 7pm on a Monday night and were seated quickly. The server took our drink order then gave us time to peruse the menu. I was impressed with the menu selections and the prices were reasonable. I went with the mushroom rigatoni and it was so delicious. It was all I could do to stop halfway through so I could make another meal out of it. The waiter noticed and offered to bring me a to-go box right away so I wouldn't be tempted. One of my friends ordered the tri-tip and gorgonzola pizza which looked fantastic. The meat was medium rare and plentiful. The birthday girl ordered a curry mango brie bruschetta skillet and a side salad. She was pleased with her choice. Another friend ordered the capellini pomodori and a side of polenta. Our pastasi were both served with a mini basil parmesan loaf. Probably good that it was small or I could have easily filled up on the bread alone. The location is easy and close to Bartley Ranch so it turned out to be a great stop after a nice birthday walk around the ranch. But the price and quality is what makes me inclined to give this bad boy a five star rating and review. Service and promptness was key. I'm not sure if things has changed as I haven't been in a long time but it was just not good at all. it was my birthday and I met my parents there for dinner on a Friday night. It was pretty dead. They do not have a drink menu (which is nitpicky I know, but I believe they used to?) We ordered an appetizer and entrees and our appetizer never came. When the server brought us our entrees we reminded him about the appetizer and he acted like we didn't order it but then said he would quickly bring it out. Out appetizer did not come until we were halfway through our meal. I got fish tacos and they literally tasted like nothing. No flavor whatsoever. The tortillas were obviously microwaved to warm them up but were in there a little too long and parts were cooked hard as a rock....I ended up just eating the fish out of the tortilla with a fork. Super disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite places! Bummer read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Reno. We usually end up coming here once a week for dinner. The staff is always friendly and helpful with anything you need. The food is always so yummy and the drinks perfect. Our go to items are the caprese salad and the chicken piccata. They make a Moscow mule that is one of the best! The best way I can describe this is kind of like Chili's or Applebee's: except with much, much better food. They don't seem to really specialize at one type of food, but there's something there for everyone which I really enjoy! My favorite thing was the ceviche with chips, and even though it was basic, it was really tasty: it was a much better version of those appetizers you get at those other places. However I will tell you, I was pleasantly surprised on my last visit! The food is average to good but the atmosphere is lovely, the wine list is stellar and very reasonable, and they are willing to make many accommodations for dietary needs. I came here with a colleague for a ladies night and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had the lemon herb chicken, double veggies, no quinoa, and my friend had the kale salad and a pasta dish. Everything was very good. We shared a $20 bottle of Kendall Jackson (yes, $20 - not even a happy hour price). I was pleasantly surprised to see the place quite busy on a Tuesday night, so much so that I even had to wait a few minutes for a table. Words getting out on this great neighborhood joint! read more

Popped in for dinner after our "Mall Santa" experience and we were not disappointed. Hubby ordered the Ciopinno, I ordered the steamers and we got a Margarita Pizza for the tiny human. Ciopinno and Steamers were spot on! The pizza was good, but they do serve it on a different type of crust (I apologize for not knowing, but I was not concerned with the crust when ordering) that I was not used to, but mini me didn't mind one bit. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and as we ate the place continued to fill up. Our server was a very pleasant man with a sense of humor we understood. Charlotte, the other server who came on the floor about mid way through our meal, was absolutely amazing! She might have a great thing for little humans, and that's ok with us. I didn't even know this place existed until a friend invited me here for dinner the other night. It's a place worth finding! The food is really good. It very much is a relaxing environment and comfort food but there are some unique items. They have a great wine menu and served the food in a reasonable amount of time. I liked the French Dip and my friend had salmon and it was prepared well. Even the squash side order was good. This is a place I will defiantly go back to. They are in the building behind the Starbucks. You can't really see them from the street but will when you pull into the parking lot. read more

Dinner with great friends! Love the vibe of this place. It is upscale-casual. A great place to kick back with friends, have awesome food and maybe even catch some of a game on the big tv's. I had the Black Bean Burger. YUM!!! It is homemade and extremely tasty. The bun is a herb garden bun and it was soooo good! My side was fries and they were hot and tasty just as fries should be. This menu was extensive and unique, not that there weren't traditional items on the menu, but everything seemed to have a good little twist to it. We ordered the pasta rustica and the lamb burger with fries. The braised beef in the pasta was tender and delicious. The whole dish was made of simple ingredients, but they worked perfectly together. The lamb burger cooked medium rare was one of the best I've had in town. My girlfriend doesn't care for lamb burgers much, but she had about a third of this one and said she'd order it again for herself. Overall great atmosphere, great menu, large portions, and a good wait staff. We'll definitely be coming back read more

This is the second time I have been to M3 and most likely will be my last. When you have to wait five minutes just to be acknowledged to get a seat and then to be told straight up you had to sit at a high top table(which, if you weren't careful, swayed back and fourth like you were on the high seas) because your party size did not meet their minimum of four people to be seated at a booth?! One in our party even had knee issues. The waitress even blamed it on the rules of the owner, straight up. This was just not the best way to start the visit, especially since it was my recommendation to our group. Once we were seated, the food was good and plating was nice. I understand there are times that staffing issues can occur, but to see the behavior twice now did not bode well for me, nor did it for a gentleman at the bar, who sat patiently waiting for service, but left with the lack of such. read more

Im a moxie fan. They have the best rounded bar style food!! A menu that also appeals to women! If I want to be a little naughty..I can. If I want to be good I can!! With that being stated...M3 review... Its near my house...the servicers,bartenders & owners give excellent service! You can do a little gaming if you want! The best part of their expanded menu from the other moxie's is their bruschetta skillets! They are all delicious. We have already tried them all if that is an indication of how many times we have already been here! We came here at 2pm on a Thursday, hoping to avoid a lunch crowd and get in and out and back to the office by 3. Sorry to say it seems some staff went home after lunch too, we only saw the bartender who was also our wait staff, and another wait person who was serving the booth area (we were at a pub table next to the window). It took 10 minutes to take our orders and food was delivered after 2:35. Kind of a rushed lunch, and we boxed half of it to take out. 4 stars for the food! The steak sandwich and white mac and cheese were amazing, flavorful and a great blend of flavors. Came here with a friend of mine over the weekend. We wanted to try something new in the area and M3 popped up. The interior is a bit fancier than a normal pub you would find in the area with a bistro-like menu. Not too pricey for the "out of the ordinary" ingredients on the dishes. We went here for a friends birthday on a Wednesday. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced (entrees ranging from $10-$20). They had large variety of options, mainly American style with a modern twist. I tried the fajitas and steak Gorgonzola pizza, both were very tasty. The ambience also was very nice. Moderately lit and well decorated. It had the perfect feel for a birthday, but I think it can also convert well to date night or casual dinner out with friends. I generally have a hard time finding restaurants I like when I'm in Reno. There are way too many chains, and not enough independent places with creative menus. M3 has excellent food at a good price point - there's nothing on the menu over $20. My kids and I went on a Sunday night (Mother's day). It was surprisingly quiet, perhaps all the moms went out for brunch and stayed home for dinner. Service was prompt and friendly, and the decor and atmosphere was warm and welcoming with rustic wood tables and concrete floors. The coconut shrimp appetizer was tasty, and our entrees (ribeye, lamb burger, and cioppino) were all delicious. I've already picked out a couple of things (spicy steamed mussels and lamb chops) for my next visit. I was very happy one of my sons recommended M3, and I'll be back the next time I'm in town. read more

We were planning to go down to midtown for a hip dinner night then our son said, "how about M3"? So, we figured why not.... We are so glad we did, it was wonderful. From the decor to the nice friendly staff and most importantly the food. It was all great. I had the salmon tacos and I would definitely recommend them if you like fish. Loads of flavor and for the price they are huge! Service was quick and friendly. We also liked how many people kept coming through the doors. You had a mix of young and old. Family and singles. The bar was a buzz full of friendly folks and it was all in a relax atmosphere. A must try if you haven't tried this place out, you will not regret it. This is a cute little place kinda hidden away off the beaten path. I love the interior vibe but it was really quiet and with a light crowd. It really deserves a more raucous crowd. Anyway, super friendly server who was really upfront with my menu questions (which I always appreciate). I had the Reuben and it was very good, but needed more meat. My son had the salmon tacos and really liked them, and the other had the nachos which were delicious. We all split the coconut shrimp to start and while they were good, they were overpriced for the 3-4 you got. Hope this place makes it. read more

Pros: Very tasty food, nice decor Cons: A little slow on service My SO and I dropped in for lunch 5/10/17 after a long drive and some work in the Reno area. I needed to listen in on a call during lunch so we asked for a quiet area, and were directed to a table that was just fine. We both ordered the Atkins lunch (me chicken, her steak) and both of the meals were delicious. The menu seemed to have a nice variety of options. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. It took a few minutes to seat us, even though the place was not crowded at all. And there were long gaps with no server in sight, especially when we were done. All in all a good eatery to try. read more

So we slowly made our way into the restaurant until we were spotted by staff with the obvious look of confusion on our faces, we were then told to sit where we liked. We chose to sit in the bar area so we could see outside and watch the weather coming in. The bartender doubled as our server, she was friendly but I'd say her efficiency was about 3 stars. Our food did come out fresh and we were both satisfied with our choices. I had the BLTA ($9) and the wife had the grilled cheese panini($10). Beer prices were average, $5 for a Mammoth Stout and $4.50 for Blue Moon + Alaskan Amber. Beer selection was a bit limited. I'm not sure if the wife and I are turning into beer snobs but all 3 beers that we ordered had a hint of some type of sanitizer, whether in the beer lines from the kegs or from their glasses, either way it was quite disappointing. Wines were also average price with a place this classy, also note the $10 corkage fee. Overall, I'd like to return here again to give them another try for dinner. The food was worth the price for lunch, very possible they can do the same for dinner. I just know to keep away from the beer next time. The decor in here was really nice and really makes the restaurant, if they could only find a spot for a 'seat yourself/wait to be seated' sign they'd have it nailed!
