I was lightly bleeding and she apologized so it's been throbbing for two days. In my 20 years of getting my nails done never have I seen someone do it without the proper equipment. Her technique polishing was excellent and clean but unfortunately, the polish chipped in two days which is pretty quick for gel. Pricing is fair $30 for a gel manicure and $5 for removal. What makes it worse is that this isn't the first time I've personally heard a customer complain about being charged a high price for what they felt was a simple mani or pedi. At some point, the pricing needs to be more transparent. I should have been told exactly what I was being charged for before the service was completed, especially if there were additional removal fees. I would have made a different decision had I known the final price. I left feeling overcharged and very disappointed. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, and based on my experience, I can't recommend this salon.

At one point, she even smacked my foot to get my attention and then tried to laugh it off. She also cut me during the pedicure and was coughing directly over my feet without turning away or covering her mouth. The actual polish came out okay, although parts of it felt rushed. My biggest issue was the service and how uncomfortable I felt the entire time. A pedicure is supposed to be a relaxing experience, and unfortunately this was the complete opposite. The salon is always kept clean and the technicians greet you as soon as you walk in the door. If you have a vision or inspo picture you can bring it here and their technicians will bring it to life. My manicures last 6-8 weeks when I get them done here. I use to be a regular at another salon that often used water to soak my nails during each appointment. I noticed my nails were always weak and breaking. The manicures never lasted more than 2 weeks when I went elsewhere because it would chip or peel off. Since coming to Queen Nails I prefer waterless manicures. Not only is it more hygienic, but my nails are stronger and manicures last so much longer. I always get compliments on my nails even when they have 3weeks growth! While trying to write a review for the service I received today, I noticed there is another nail salon with a similar name. I have only ever gone to the one in Temple City across McDonalds. I do not think they are affiliated to each other.
