They are unsightly, yellowish in color and as thick as a glob of butter on the toe. This may be TMI on the graphic visual but I'm posting this review in case someone finds themselves in a similar circumstance or taking care of a loved one in such a situation. First, the location is easy to find in the CVS parking lot off hidden valley -located in the back of a very nice hair salon. Jesie was very kind, compassionate, and helpful when dealing with my uncle. First he had dementia so he is very forgetful, we push him in a wheelchair because walking (due to age and dementia) is limited. She was able to assist me in getting him into the lovely large lazy-boy chair used for the pedicure and placing a regular chair next to it so I could be there with him. My uncle has a catheter which some people find off putting but she did not flinch over the sight of the bag. She took her time and did way better than I could have hoped on his nails and she alternated between her various tools to get his nails presentable. Jesie is the only person who would even consider helping my family. She has experience from her career in a podiatrist office and is so patient and nonjudgmental to the condition of her clients nails. I could not have felt more at ease having her assistance in this.

Then they started the service and the water was cold and the lady doing my pedicure was speaking in her language loud the ENTIRE time. This made the entire experience awful. In addition to the whole service being subpar, the lady was using dirty tools on my feet. She grabbed what looked like a kindergarteners pencil Box and it was labeled "soiled " she then started using the tools on me and I finally said something. She gave me attitude and I ended up leaving. I will be reporting them to the health department/ it's only A matter of time until this filthy establishment gets shut down. I did tip because they did the work and know sometimes that's all they get (I've worked in the beauty and service industry). All I liked about the nails were the polish color. The man who did my nails did not know what he was doing. I expected more from a "luxury" nail salon- and it is just like every other cheap nail place out there only with higher prices. The staff was very friendly and the overall customer service was great. The quality of work was very poor. Maybe more training for the person who did my nails. Yes I had ombré acrylic and they did have to file that off but they should also not be left with only a fill in acrylic at the bottom and no restructuring of the whole nail- which I would gladly pay extra for if needed. I am just used to better quality nail care I guess. I tried to communicate what I wanted and it just seemed like I wasn't understood.
