I was driving an SUV full of 4th graders back to Sacramento from a field trip to Malakoff Diggins State Park, and I blew a tire on Hwy 49. Got hooked in with Kilroy's through my USAA app, and was explaining to the kids how this was going to take like an hour or more to get a tow truck when I received a phone call that they were 5 minutes away. The gentleman whose name I am forgetting (Todd?) asked for clarification about where exactly on a side street my vehicle was, and told me he'd be there in 5 minutes and then actually was! Quick change to the spare tire, super friendly, and even recommended me a tire shop nearby, where I got it repaired quickly. I told this (probably boring story) like 6 times that day, mostly to parents whose kids I had in my care, and it made me smile every time.

TPS sensor needed to be replaced, instead of repairing it he just ordered the part then gave it to me in the box. He was too busy on a Friday afternoon to remedy the problem. 0/5 stars because the car ended up totaled within 1-2 weeks due to all the unforeseen problems. When I checked the fuses to see why the stereo and back up camera weren't working it was missing around 10 fuses so I know they only took out the fuses to make it seem like the car was passable. My family friend referred me to specifically Ron and I was dismissed and disappointed that they've spent multiple years with this mechanic. Really makes me wonder how many times he's scammed them over the duration of 5-10 years. In all honesty the car over heated and blew up the engine as I was headed to drive it through the walls of this establishment (lucky them). Had to get it towed after, cost 500 so brought my total for the car to 4600. I would love to come back to discuss but really fuck this place. Scammed me out of 4600 dollars

John was extremely meticulous during the inspection while being honest and unbiased, and went way more in depth on the PPi than I expected any shop to be. Before my career change I was a BMW mechanic for 13 years, and it was noted and appreciated that John went over the car like if he was purchasing it for himself. Holleran's Performance if a very clean and well organized shop, which was immediately apparent, seeing parts organized and stored in rubber totes instead of random boxes and lying around. I highly recommend Hollerans Performance. So much so, I'm probably going to make the 6.5hr drive up to his shop (from Southern California) to have him install a LSD on my newly acquired X50 996 turbo!

Took my 2018 Subaru to Auburn tire to have a brake inspection done after taking it to a corporate…read morerun tire center for a second opinion. The corporate tire center said I needed rear brakes with new calipers and new rotors.. Auburn tire took it out for a road test then put it on the rack came back in and said you don't need brakes. You have 4 mm on the rear and six on the front. Come back in a few thousand miles and we'll change out the rears and turn your rotors. I'm glad I went there because the other place was gonna charge me $658 for work I didn't need to have done.
