Solid menu, something for everyone! Super friendly service! Checked in frequently, refilled waters, brought the kids food out when it was ready. I had the brunch burger was big and pretty good! Bacon jam, fries egg, tater tots, onion ring. However, the chicken and waffles is truly the way to go. Great coating on well made chicken, salty sweet, kept going back for more. Street metered parking. We'll be back again soon

I was visiting the area for business and was looking for a good brunch please. Yelp led me here. Service was friendly and efficient. The "skillets" are popular so I tried one (South Side) with a side of multigrain toast and coffee with almond milk. The coffee was typical diner (I prefer a bolder blend.) Cozy diner. I sat in a booth by the window. Prices are reasonable. They charge 4% for credit card use and $1 egg surcharge. Solid cozy diner with fresh, very good food.

First time visiting this little diner on a busy street. Was able to get street parking right out front for lunch. Small but cozy and not too busy. The sliced turkey panini was something to talk about. Not sure if it was the crunchiness of the bread or the yummy bacon jam but it was really good paired with their fries and a side of mozzarella sticks. The menu looked to have a lot of yummy options that I'd go back to try.

This is my fourth time eating here. I find this very relaxing, romantic and friendly. The dishes that I've eaten were great. Grits with the works are delicious even though that's not the name of the dish and another time I had the crispy chicken salad. That was totally different. Nicole is very kind, humorous, and friendly . She shows great skills when interacting with people and then customers. A good friend request that we cine here because she know that I am very fond of this restaurant. Always pleasant vibes, good times and a lot of laughs.

I have 10 years of experience as a Head Chef , I was excited to try this local restaurant, but my first experience fell short. The chicken, advertised as [ROASTED], Chicken was actually GRILLED. While I appreciate the culinary choice, the menu should reflect this. More concerning was the undercooked chicken, which can harbor semolina bacteria. To prevent foodborne illness, I strongly advise the kitchen to double-check temperatures.

This place has a classic diner feel. We got seated right away and the staff were extremely pleasant. The food was also delicious everything was seasoned well and the fresh squeezed orange juice paired perfectly with the breakfast. It wasn't overly sweet or tart. Two entrees, two sides( Irish bacon and avocado) tea, orange juice and Arnold Palmer ran us about $60.

Leaving JFK, we were looking for some place to dine and came across this gem. There is street parking available. They have an extensive menu with much to choose from and it was hard to pick one. There is table and booth seating available. I had the crab cake eggs Benedict which was delish. Hubby had the Five Towns panini sandwich and he really liked it. It is clean and spacious diner with a friendly staff who were also efficient. I love the graphic on the mirror Lynbrook Eats with the word in "Eat" in many languages. To me, that means they welcome everyone to come enjoy a meal with them! Definitely recommend!

We ordered the chicken & waffles, the peanut butter Nutella stuffed French toast, & and an Oreo shake. To say the food was delicious would be an absolute understatement. Our waitress was so friendly & made our shake with love. We will absolutely be back for what will I'm sure be another phenomenal brunch!

This place has gone down the tubes, slow service food was raw and mediocre to visit. Waitress is very nice though.

Food is amazing, service is good, and the place is clean. The only diner me and my girlfriend go to now that we've tried it.

Although there is a beautiful dining room, we sat at the bar and were greeted by a friendly, professional and most responsive bartender, Ken Howley, also well known in the area for his customer service. When we asked about bourbons, he provided a generous sample for us to try. Needless to say, the service was exceptional throughout the evening. For dinner, we decided on having several appetizers - the meatballs (as good as my Sicilian wife makes), the chicken wings (buffalo sauce that was both spicy and sweet), the chicken quesadilla (generous size) - each were a tasty meal in and of themselves - simply delicious! The bar area and dining room were beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays and provided a most welcoming and festive environment. Michaleen Flynn's also has two large party rooms - perfect for celebrating any event. All in all, we had a great time! This may be our new favorite place, and we look forward to visiting Michaleen Flynn's again, and not just for appetizers, but for a delicious dinner in the beautiful appointed dining room.

I would rate the food and experience a 7/10. One thing to note is that the restaurant has a 90-minute dining limit. Guests are expected to order everything upfront because once the time is up, you may not have the opportunity to order additional items, including dessert. This was my first time experiencing a time limit at a restaurant, so it felt a bit rushed at times. For appetizers, the Honey Garlic wings were very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Shrimp Tempura arrived extremely hot, which made it difficult to eat right away, but unfortunately it lacked a bit of seasoning and flavor. The Shrimp and Grits was definitely one of the standout dishes of the night. It arrived piping hot and full of flavor. I actually burned my mouth taking the first bite because it was served so fresh, but overall it was delicious. The Oxtail with Mac and Cheese was another enjoyable combination. The oxtail had a good traditional flavor, although it did not include beans. My only complaint was that the portion size felt small for the price. My husband ordered the steak and fries, which was fine but nothing particularly memorable. As for drinks, the cocktails were overpriced, and surprisingly the mocktails felt even more expensive for what they offered. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try dessert. Once our dining time was up, our waitress brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert to-go. She appeared focused on assisting another table, so it gave the impression that once your time is over, it's time to leave. Overall, while there were a few dishes I truly enjoyed -- especially the Shrimp and Grits -- I personally would not return for dine-in considering the pricing and time restrictions. Spending over $300 for two people on fairly standard Caribbean/American dishes did not feel fully worth the experience. However, I would absolutely order the Shrimp and Grits again for takeout.
