Well all I can say is that this is the place to eat. Last Saturday, as I was going to a meeting, I saw this place and decided to stop for a quick bite for breakfast. As I sat in a booth with my spouse, I was amazed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff greeting customers and having quick conversations with them. There was a minor issue with our order but nothing to remember because I will go back to this place and I invite you to go and experience what I now called the most courteous restaurant staff I have yet to meet. I have to also tell you that my chicken soup was to die for. As we were leaving, two employees met us at the door with our food in a bag as wished me "Happy Mother's Day". My spouse tried to pay; they would not accept payment. as I said this gesture alone by these people have led me to fight the minor issue that had occurred. The Mosquito Muscle Wrap: Not sure why this place has four stars...We waited over an hour for our food to come. When it finally arrived, my brother took a bite of his wrap and realized he bit a piece of a HUGE LIVE BUG. It was still moving, just kind of squished inside the wrap. I guess a bug could have flown into the food at any restaurant...and they did take all three meals off the bill and came with free chocolate cake. I stopped here while i was waiting for my car to get an oil change. It was a short walk from Infiniti of Lynbrook so I'm not sure what the parking situation is. The food and service were great! The coffee was the best I've had in awhile. The turkey bacon was REAL turkey bacon. I watched a little of the news while i ate. I have been a frequent customer in this smaller diner not diner. It is very clean, and everyone is very friendly and you definitely learn the staff quickly. Everyone that I have dealt with thus far has been great. The food is awesome and super fresh, perfect seasoning. This is going to be a long one.... 4 Stars for the food -1 Star for no public wifi (really? A brand new diner and no wifi? Swing and a miss. They have wifi, even named it "diner" and refused to give out the password) -1 Star for today's experience. When this place opened I was elated. It's roughly 5 blocks away from my house, close enough to walk there with the wife and kids for a meal. This is my third and last trip, the first two were uneventful and didn't warrant a review since there was really nothing extraordinary on either the positive or negative side of things. When I go to a diner for breakfast I always get the same thing.. Bacon and scrambled eggs special with home fries and white toast. I'll take the coffee and you can keep the juice. I also request that some peppers and onions be added into the eggs (and some cilantro if it's available which it rarely is). Now, most places will charge between 50 cents and a dollar for this service (if they charge at all). Of course I don't have a problem paying extra for something extra I've requested. The previous 2 meals I've had here I've payed 50 cents extra each time, on both occasions I had the same waitress. So today I get my bill and instead of paying $7.75 + the .50 I was expecting, I get charged $9.95. For those of you that don't want to bust out the calculator that's $2.20. For a couple of slices of onions and peppers. Absolutely ludicrous. I do something I have done maybe 5 times in my whole life and dispute the amount that I've been charged. I point out the obvious and fully expect the situation to be rectified. It is not. I'm huddled up with the waiter and what I assume are the owners of the place next to the register and told that since I added onions and peppers to the eggs it would be considered an omelet and therefore isn't considered a special. That's when I examine my check further and noticed they've also CHARGED ME FOR THE COFFEE! That's right, since it's not a special I don't get the coffee to go with it. Now instead of paying $8.25 like I have in the past, I'm paying $11.95. They didn't see anything wrong with this at all, and that's why I won't be going back. read more

my host/waitress krystal is very kind. i've tried the salmon burger and bulls eye burger , both were fantastic, along with the tater tots and truffle fries. before the pandemic the truffle oil was a bit too strong but m last orders have been spot on. Went back for dinner on Saturday June 4th. We had 3 people. We ordered roast chicken dinner, Patti melt w cheese and onions and a chefs special roast turkey Panini. Everything was great. No complaints on the food, taste or quantity of the plates. The staff and server were consistently friendly as the first visit. The food was on point and the overall experience was great. My first week here everything went smoothly, definitely the exception. Since going here every week since it is local and convenient, things have declined rapidly. I can't even believe this place exists. This update review is based on numerous experiences in which we ask our waitress for half and half- crickets, ask for peanut butter- no response, there is a nice young boy that when I see him always tries to help but I had a reliable waitress the first week and never again. They have breakfast specials that include a juice that you order and when you order it they give you the wrong size, still tiny and between tax and tip you end up paying close to $7 for it when you didn't want it in the first place. The strangest incident took place with French toast that if you order a certain breakfast # it says Challah french toast and if you order a different # you get French toast without the word challah, so af course we ordered regular hoping to get regular we got challah with them saying we should know to order the words old fashioned which appeared nowhere. Like always they argue with you never admitting they could be wrong about anything and that we should be more careful, still don't know what they are talking about. I am a very positive person and would love to go back but this place has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE imaginable, don't fall for the reviews because if anything goes wrong they are always right about everything and customer always comes last no wonder they are always empty. read more

I ordered Uber eats delivery from them, they're not that far from me probably 10 minutes. I saw when the driver picked it up right when it said they finished making it I don't think in the little drive it could get that cold. My calamari was cold upon arrival like maybe they gave me a order that was sitting around. And the portion is REALLY small for 10.95 idk if it's because I didn't get it at the actual diner and I got delivery probably 10 small pieces in total And my onion rings are over fried. The service was horrible. The waitress took a very long time to greet us and take our order. It took an even longer time to get the food. She confused our order with the table beside us. She didn't bring out all that we ordered. She never checked on our table after serving us. We had to get up and request our bill from the owner. We didn't get refills in our water glasses ever. The tables are very close together which makes navigating, serving, and quiet conversation very difficult. The chicken was very dry. We will never return. I have ordered from this place multiple times before and have had minimal to no problems, but this time i barely ate any of the food. The wrap i ordered was soggy and so were the fries that came with it. The wrap also had pieces of plastic sporadically throughout the wrap. And the smoothie i ordered was just not good. I recently started working in Lynbrook area and came across this place on yelp and really wanted some breakfast. I ordered the French toast and two scrambled eggs. The French toast wasn't completely cooked properly on either of them I was extremely disappointed and the eggs seemed more fried then scrambled. I have it two stars instead of one because although my order was to go the lady who helped me was extremely kind to me. This was my first time calling Lynbrook Eats for delivery, and it certainly won't be my last. In a time where the service industry seems to be lacking "service", from beginning to end my experience was fantastic. I spoke to Nicole on the phone who simply made the ordering experience an absolute delight. She could not have been sweeter or more helpful, and I know for certain it was her who made this pregnant moms ice cream order extra special! Ordered the American hamburger to be delivered to my office locally. The burger was raw on a bloody bun, no ketchup, cheese, lettuce, tomato or onion. Just a raw pattie on a bun. When I called, the manager was very rude. I explained I work in an office down the block with 20 co workers who like to order out, he did nothing to accommodate. I would give zero stars .
