I love coming to Lynbrook Eats. The entire staff are always kind and courteous. There is meter parking and parking is sometimes hard to find especially when you want to park in front of the restaurant for a shorter walk. You are surely going to be greeted here so you won't have an issue about being noticed and you are quickly met at the door. Seating you is a priority here and they make sure that you are comfortable. The aesthetics greet you as you enter and while you are seated. Lynbrook Eats can be suitable for a business luncheon, breakfast, or dinner. It also presents it's dining experience as a romantic setting as well. Today I started with two glasses of water due the heat. I had the Cajun shrimp and grits. If you love spicy, this is your dish. That being said, that will be my last time eating it only because it doesn't set well on my stomach. I'm looking forward to digging in to hotcakes next visit. Eating solo? They offer a dedicated two‑seater that's comfortable, practical, and ideal for solo diners. They offer some really good dishes and they don't see it as a tedious task to answer any questions about any of their signature dishes. Solid menu, something for everyone! Super friendly service! Checked in frequently, refilled waters, brought the kids food out when it was ready. I had the brunch burger was big and pretty good! The "skillets" are popular so I tried one (South Side) with a side of multigrain toast and coffee with almond milk. The coffee was typical diner (I prefer a bolder blend.) Cozy diner. First time visiting this little diner on a busy street. Was able to get street parking right out front for lunch. Small but cozy and not too busy. The sliced turkey panini was something to talk about. Not sure if it was the crunchiness of the bread or the yummy bacon jam but it was really good paired with their fries and a side of mozzarella sticks. My wife and I usually go to Lindbrook eats during the weekday cause it gets crowded and parking is tough but the food especially breakfast is pretty awesome always consistent Spiro. The owner is a great guy makes you feel at home but the food is unbelievable. I have the crème brûlée French toast. It's amazing. You need to try it a little pricey, but worth every penny. read more

While I appreciate the culinary choice, the menu should reflect this. More concerning was the undercooked chicken, which can harbor semolina bacteria. The food was also delicious everything was seasoned well and the fresh squeezed orange juice paired perfectly with the breakfast. It wasn't overly sweet or tart. Very large menu. Coffee and service is good. The omelettes and skillets are very good. The huevos rancheros should not be called that. They are simply 2 eggs and a scoop of beans with a few dried out tortillas. Surely not a Mexican breakfast. When I asked the server about it she replied "That's how we make it." I had the Acapulco Skillet Minor issue, I asked for rye toast buttered with the skillet meal, but got plain bread with butter on the side :::shoulder shrug::: I did not make an issue of it. What bothered me was the All American Cheeseburger was ordered with the salad instead of french fries, only to have the waitress explain the salad is $2 extra despite what the menu says. That bothered me as I felt the menu prices were a tad bit high to begin with for diner food. (Economy with eggs and dairy rising in price, just my opinion). This place is cute and I used to frequent it when the old owner operated it. I kept coming back out of pure nostalgia. The food is good too - can't complain. I will say that when I ordered the veggie wrap the description said it would have vegetables but there was really only lettuce :( so it wasn't what I was expecting. Everything else tasted wonderful, service was great and the place clean so all in all a good experience Be aware they close early on Sundays so don't plan on hitting them up at dinner time which is fine for me. I really wanted to like this place, but the food is OVERPRICED subpar diner type food at best. I've ordered breakfast from here on several occasions and have always been disappointed with the taste / quality of their home-fries. It's always bland, dry and lacks peppers and onions, which is a huge turnoff! They claim that peppers and onions are a part of the ingredients, but when you tell them to make sure the home fries has peppers and onions, they charge you EXTRA. Its crazy! How do you charge a customer extra for making a dish the way its SUPPOSED to be made?!? Absurd! Mind you, i've always included a tip for ALL of my pickup orders and I regret it. In addition, the Customer service is lacking and the turkey bacon is always served soggy unless you tell them to make it well done. I was looking for a place to eat breakfast on my day off and I found this place on yelp because I was in Valley Stream. This place was cute and had a nice local feel to it. I had to park in the parking lot down the block because there were only meters in the front. The waitress was very sweet and provided great customer service. Have passed here a million times times over the years and finally went in after reading a review on a FB restaurant page. Great food, staff is amazing and friendly. We had breakfast burritos, the American skillet (a must try). We always start with a fresh fruit bowl in which the fruit is fresh and delicious. Me and the boo thang were hungry on a Sunday afternoon and I picked the wrong dinner and ended up here. Not bad not bad at all. They do not make good Mac and cheese but maybe they will see this review and fix it. The bathroom was so hot I actually could not use it they need to fix that as well. But they were cute and quaint. He had a burger and mashed potatoes an onion rings N when it came I snatched and pinion ring off his plate to be funny and literally burned the tip of my tongue off. Food itself was fine, we got eggs any style with home fries (kinda dry/bland), and toast (way over buttered) - the usual diner breakfast lol I will say that for what they make up in food, they overcompensate with their staff.
