Ordered delivery to my hotel and it came much faster than planned. The Caesar salad is huge and very fresh with a good serving of chicken added. The 5 Towns panini has a little bite to it with the spicy sauce but it is well paired with tots or a side. The meatball panini has really good sauce and meatballs on it, just wish there had been more meatballs as most of it was sauce and cheese (which was the perfect amount of both for the sandwich, just could have used more meatballs.) Will order again in the future to try some of the other sandwiches. read more

Chicken and Waffles and a Cheeseburger with Fries and Bacon Jam. Beautiful family friendly eatery in Lynbrook. Cozy and comfy. For some patrons they're greeted by name like Norm from Cheers. Service is ALWAYS with a smile. The staff and host are like one big family and it's a warm feeling to have in an authentic diner. The chicken and waffles with honey sauce is the best. But kudos to the chef who came up with a burger with grilled onions and cheese on Texas Toast. Who does that? Man oh Man was that a welcome surprise. I added a side of bacon jam and it didn't disappoint. Make an outing one day; visit the AMC for a movie, have brunch at Lynbrook Eats and then pass by Coldstone Creamery for an end of the day treat. We had burgers for pick up right before closing so it was a little rush, but they were closing at 800 on Saturday night, on website it says 10 so keep in mind to call and check! I ordered the California omelette and honestly I thought the taste of the food we got was good. My wife ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy and it was honestly an abomination. She said the gravy itself was very salty, eggs over cooked and the menu clearly says crumbled sausage which this was not. The slices of sausage under gravy is really throwing me off, I've never seen anything like it. My food was good, hers not so much... Would I come back here? Probably not... read more

We parked right outside on the street. We came and ordered burgers and a breakfast quesadilla. The children's burgers are the same size as the adult 1/2 lb black Angus burger! It was very filling! We just discovered this diner and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming. The diner is clean and run efficiently. I ordered the crab cake, eggs Benedict, delicious! The gentleman who comes around with coffee is super efficient and takes care of your every need, you never have to ask. Eggs and hash, fries, chicken fingers and pancakes were all amazing. Steak Tacos seems over fried and hard to chew and oily, I wouldn't order that again. 3.5 stars in my book but no Yelp option. Uber eats Date: May 18, 2017 I decided to order Lynbrook Eats for my late lunch/forced earlybird dinner that I have every week at work. I'm so happy for uber eats because I can try all these new places that I never get to actually stop into. I got the village panini and I asked for a side salad with extra mozarella cheese instead of fries and they were compliant with my wishes. They also put a plastic fork in the take out bag which they get bonus points for because surprisingly many places do not put plastic forks in their take out bags. So the panini was very good but I didn't get to enjoy the full panininess of it because I don't eat that much bread anymore. I ate one quarter of the panini sandwich because the bread was huge and one quarter is probably equal to the one starch I'm allowed by my nutritionist. There was a good amount of mozarella, portabello mushroom, roasted red peppers but there was definitely way more bread than sandwich fixings. The side salad was good, very fresh they gave me enough mozarella cheese on it for my protein requirements. I might consider coming back here the food choices they had were healthy enough for me! read more

My First visit which was not planned and the food was ok and we was fine with that until at the end of the meal the waitress threw the tip back at us. It was so disrespectful. I am black so I don't know if that plays a part but it was insulting. The waitress had a bad attitude during service but we dealt with it, But my mom an elderly person paid the bill and was not too savvy with adding tips at the checkout but we put together the cash we had (just coming from church) and I guess it wasn't enough and the waitress told us it was not enough. I'm sorry but the money we spent in this restaurant I could have cooked a complete meal. I decided not to go there again and I live less than a mile away. My advice=don't go to this restaurant unless you have a big tip. read more

Second time here but it's been a long time. Almost drove to Rockville Centre for breakfast till my husband saw Lynbrook Eats and wanted to try it. My husband said it was best Western Omelet he ever had. The atmosphere is very quiet and comfortable though there was diners coming in and out the entire time. They must have a very loyal patronage. Lynbrook Eats is a great addition to the Lynbrook area, serving as a small diner and eatery along Merrick Rd close to the downtown Lynbrook shopping district. Serving an assortment of breakfast, lunch and dinner items at competitive prices, Lynbrook Eats functions as a diner but somehow feels more intimate and local (perhaps due to the small size or the name, which doesn't necessarily imply "diner"). When my wife and I visited Lynbrook Eats for breakfast on a sunny Saturday morning, we found that there was no wait and were immediately brought to a booth (the place is small but somehow seems to have enough tables). We were brought some water and ordered coffee while perusing the menu, which included for breakfast the standard assortment of eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, muffins, oatmeal, ham, bacon, sausage, and more. We also found a list of specials, which we both opted to order. My wife ordered the western omelette special while I went for the French toast with sausage. Both came with coffee and juice (she got cranberry and I opted for orange). Within about 5 minutes we received our meals. The French toast was thick, soft, sweet and moist, which tasted delicious with some syrup (and that side of sausage, which was cooked just right). The omelette was also cooked very well and offered a standard western omelette flavor with the regular fixings. The home fries also were cooked nicely, soft with a slight burn on the edges. Service here was also very friendly and quick. Our waitress was upbeat and attentive to us throughout our visit. And again, the prices here were competitive. We paid under $20 with tax (add tip) for our two breakfast specials. Overall, Lynbrook Eats is a great addition to the neighborhood and will satisfy your thirst for diner food. If could give a zero I would. I called ahead they were slow, a Friday at 9am. I am a business owner looking for breakfast out of state carrying my computer. I asked for a seat with an outlet there's none, no problem. I had a 15 minute meeting call in the next 30 minutes would likely have eaten by then. I was seated very close to others so after ordering my coffee to start I asked to sit near the bathrooms where no one was sitting so maybe it would be quieter and the waiter said ok. manager came over and told me I couldn't sit there i told him I have a meeting and was looking for the more quiet spot he shouted accross the restaurant loudly and sarcastically "this is not a place for meetings". Now of course I know that I walked into a restaurant, so I moved in close and said I know I'm in a restaurant but there's only 7 people in the whole place he said that booth is not for only one person..... I get the normal rule but the rudeness that came out of this managers mouth made me just leave quietly. I told him he was rude and left. Don't go if you want to have a good morning. We enjoyed our breakfast! We enjoyed the skillet the most. I personally didn't enjoy the pancakes as much , i guess I prefer mine a bit more crispier on edges and buTtery.
