I got my foldable Dahon Bike fixed at this shop and it was a great experience. Khalil has been working in this business for 30 years and his expertise showed. He replaced the spokes on my bike for less money than I anticipated, and even though I dropped in on him, he fixed it within a half hour. Needless to say, my bike has never ridden so smoothly. The parts he used were very high quality. He also gave my mother a great deal on a new bike for herself. I don't live in the neighborhood, but I think I would make the trip out to his shop just for the excellent service that I received. read more

Brought my vintage Panasonic Sport DX in for a tune-up and the service I got was exceptional. Fayed is a true professional and a craftsman, as well. I must say the customer service I experienced was impeccable. I purchased two bicycles in June, one for me and one for my nephew as a birthday gift; he was not present. I was to hasty, tried one bike for myself, purchased it, brought it home only to realize that the bicycle was too big; I did not feel comfortable or safe due to the size of the bike. I never rode the bicycle, and had every intention of bringing the bicycle back sooner than later in hopes that I would be able to trade it in for another bike. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to get back to the bicycle shop until November. You can see that the bicycle was never ridden, paper was still on the bike, and the tires were evident that it was never ridden. I asked the owner if he would consider me trading in the one bike for another. He was extremely obliging. I walked out with a new bike extremely satisfied. read more

Best bicycle shop around!! Bought my son's bicycle there after price shopping at Sports Authority, Dicks Sporting Goods and other local stores, this shop had the best price with lifetime service of the bike!! The owner is the most professional nice person, absolute pleasure doing business there, and my son loves his bike!! Plan to return for bike servicing and next time we need to purchase a bike!!! VERY nice man that owns the shop. Assembled my kids new bikes (bought online as a birthday gift) and had them ready the same day. Excellent prices. He came out to my car to help me get the bike boxes out of my trunk and then put the bikes back in my trunk after assembly. Will definitely bring my bike back to him to have it serviced. Shop local they say. Help small businesses they say. I did just that today & my experience was awful. I called ahead. I was told shop was open until 5pm...I arrived at 425p. Another gentleman was being helped so I waited about 15 mins. Another couple arrived waiting behind me (I was trying to keep a social distance). When finished with previous customer the owner asked what I wanted & then what the couple wanted(they wanted to purchase a bicycle) I explained my seat kept slipping. He came out snatched my bicycle from my hands raised my seat & put lever back. Said to me here it's fixed. I said sir I've done that myself it still slips i was hoping you could use a wrench which I don't have to tighten the lever. He said I don't have time for you I fixed it. ( i guess the purchase was more important than a simple repair) I stated that he did not fix it he dismissed me with a good bye. Extremely rude & unhelpful. I will never bring my business to him again. read more

Don't believe the rumors that Lynbrook Bicycle is retiring. The store is open daily Monday through Saturday, 10:30 to 6 and Sunday 10:30 to 4! I stopped in today and the owner even helped me after he was closed. Excellent service. I'll be coming back! read more

This is what you hope for in a bike shop. I bought a bicycle here which was fairly priced and the owner told me that repairs outside of tires are guaranteed. He was very polite and you can tell by his shop that he loves his craft. He took several bicycles out for me and never seemed impatient. I hit a few potholes in my first few weeks of riding and brought my flat tire in to get fixed. He fixed it on the spot and only charged me $10! In and out in a few minutes. And, he fixed a gear shifting cable that became slightly loose, as they do when bikes are brand new. True to his word, he did not charge me for that but I tipped him a few dollars because I do not feel he is charging enough, I mean $10 for the flat, the tube alone is probably over $5. It is easily worth letting him do it. I love this place and have always been turned off by other bike shops that charge ALOT for tune-ups and always try to upsell. None of that here. read more

I have a full family of bikes. I go to a lot of bike shops in the area. I've bought bikes at brands and peak. When I'm working on my non hydraulic bikes this is my shop. Always has the parts I need and always asks me what I'm doing. Resently I had my brother in law in town and we had an issue with the hydraulic brake. He didn't have the part we needed since he doesnt work on hydraulics but when I ask him for a suggestion he fired one right out the worked perfectly. Saved us money and got us out riding in 5 mins. If you ride and go to shops this is a fun one to just pop into and buy a tube, ferrels, cable ends, cables... and if you need a tune up I've seen him just pop the bike on the stand right away and get it done. No fuss and back on the road... I'd say this is a bike shop you'd kind of find anywhere in the world with an owner who loves to get bikes on the road and working for people. read more
