I have made a reservation for me and my daughter and son. We didn't have to wait. Larry did my pedicure, he was gentle when trimming my cuticles but strong enough when massaging. He did and excellent job !!! Lindsay came and painted design I desired and did better than the picture I show her. Lindsay also did phenomenal job on my daughter's mani - super cute 4th of July inspired art. My son loved his experience as well. I changed nail salons about 6 months ago. Tam does my toes and nails! He does an excellent job. My feet are extremely sensitive so I can't get a regular pedicure because of that. Tam is very gentle when he does my feet! Just had a new set of nails put on. First one he's done for me. He did a great job. The place was a little dirty when I arrived. The staff speaks English pretty well, so it was easier to communicate. It's still pretty uncomfortable when they talk with each other in their own language. My technician didn't really ask me what I wanted in terms of shape and paint for my French pedicure. The massage felt very nice though! For my manicure, I asked for square. Some nails were rounded and some were oval. He also didn't touch my cuticles, and just painted around them. Overall it was a good experience, but didn't meet my expectations. read more

I originally gave one star since my nails looked nice after. The service I was received was rushed and not comfortable at all. Larry was rough and rude I did not enjoy this experience. Also only had my acrylic gel nails done for two days and one fell off. I went to scratch myself and it fell off. That is unacceptable. I left on vacation so couldn't get it fixed but by the time I got home 4 more had broken. I called them and Lynsey took them off for me and did regular gel nails on the house so that was nice. read more

The place is cute but the tech took no care in perfecting my nails. She did a quick job and you can tell. I had dip done and they arnt smooth. They feel bumpy. The cuticle area is also just left nothing was even pushed back. Very sloppy work. As soon as I got home there was a small bit that came off from the edge. My mom is in rehab down the street at Sunset Care and at this time can not get out of her wheelchair. She wanted her nails and toes done like ASAP. Found LV just down the street. If I could give a zero star I would. I have used this place more than once over the years and when they first opened they were pretty right on and very attentive. As of today I walked in without an appointment as I have done many times before I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. That was fine, I could do that. They put me in a chair and ran the water to put my feet in. Here I am still waiting after 45 minutes getting antsy. I asked is anybody going to assist me and one woman said we are busy. I told her I have waited long enough and I am not waiting any longer. I told her I am leaving and I am not coming back here again. There is no reason why I should return to LV nails when there are so many other local nail spas. Goodbye LV, you have lost me as a customer. I got a mani/pedi here the other day and it was good! One of the female techs did a great job on my nails and I'm definitely satisfied. The massage during the pedi was pretty weak, but other than that very relaxing. The problem is one of the male techs. As my nails were drying, I overheard his conversation while he was giving a pedicure. I could not believe my ears. The blatant racism coming from his mouth was unbelievable. I couldn't believe he was comfortable enough to say these horrible things about POC to his customers let alone in public in his own business! (I'm assuming it's his). you never know who's around you and who's listening! i will not support a business that allows racism in any form. read more

I was hoping I wouldn't have to write this review but they gave me no choice. The salon was clean and busy with people. I was able to get in right away! My technician told me to go to chair 8...there were 7 people getting pedicures. The tech worked so fast and I couldn't understand what was going on...there was no one waiting to get in. She kept looking down the row of technicians. I had a French pedicure and they charge $5 more since it takes longer, or so I thought! I was done before the 7 people who were all seated and being worked on when I arrived. It wasn't until I got home that I was able to see how bad a job she did, since I didn't have my glasses with me. There was both clear and white polish on my skin. The nails were jagged and not properly filed. There was white polish caked underneath all the nails. And the cuticle was cut too close in some areas and yet there were areas that were ignored. I thought, I could write a bad review or call them and ask if they would fix it. They said I could come in. When I went in, I told the gal at the counter why I was there. She said they were busy and asked me to come back in an hour. I went back an hour later and stood at the counter waiting. No one came, then one technician yelled out, "what do you want?" Another gal yelled "seat 5!" Then she walked around the shop ranting in Vietnamese which you could hear throughout the business. And when she came and sat in front of me she was still ranting loudly and continued. It wasn't my fault they did a poor job and I don't feel they should have acted hostile. She cleaned the polish out from under the nails, filed them slightly, and cut more cuticle. They still look bad and worse then any pedicure I've had. There are plenty of other choices in Venice...this was a waste of time and money. read more

Yes, the workers were all very friendly and helpful. However, My pedicure was average but seemed rushed. 'Tim' kept asking if I was asleep?! Why? The manicure was on a dirty table that he made no effort wipe or clean. Evidently a small towel was enough. Parrifin was WAY to hot. The polish job is terrible too. I was So angry that I decided not to waste any more time there to have it corrected. Bummer. read more
