I came in to take off my acrylic nail and didn't think i needed a good salon so i came here. the lady was switching from me to the other client. she used NAIL POLISH remover for my acrylics. first of all they are acrylic so what is happening. then after that used a nail to take off my acrylics and took part of my nail off. they tried to tell me there wasn't any blood(it was dripping down my finger)and still charged me full price. please don't come. they do not deserve the money or customers. read more

This nail salon is very clean! The staff was also friendly. However I am giving 3 stars because they did my acrylics in about ten min. Didn't clean under the nail and didn't smooth out the nail. I can see tons of lines under my polish where the nail isn't smooth. :( felt rushed I even made an appointment in advance. The shape is good. However the lengths are all different. You are safe with anyone but Laura and Henry are our ultimate favorites. I even had my entire wedding party come here the day before my wedding to get our nails and drink champagne and be merry. Didn't manage to get my regular nail person before I left to travel, so I knew I would need a place while on vacation. This place was really good. Thankfully, we stopped in at the right time as they were very busy. We were able to walk in but the number of people that came after us were not so I suggest you call to make an appointment. I got a polish change on my toes and gel manicure. Both were really good. I did have two different people do my nails. They cut them a little short, but maybe they needed it. My friends got mani-pedi which she said was best pedicure she's had in a while. Other friend got fill on acrylics and they looked great. Hot towels are a great touch at the end! Place is neat and clean and decorated nicely. I would definitely return if I were a resident. read more

I made an appointment a week in advance to have a mani/pedi done the day before my vow renewal ceremony. I chose this place because of all of the glowing reviews. Sadly, my experience there was not so great. Yes, it is large, clean, nicely decorated, and the prices seem reasonable, but I don't think I will be going back. I arrived a few minutes early for my 1:30pm appointment and was taken to the pedicure area right away. There were only 2 other customers being worked on, so it was pretty quiet for a Friday. The young man who seated me and started the water in the spa chair was friendly and spoke English very well. Unfortunately, he left shortly thereafter and I never saw him again. Another older gentleman arrived and began my pedicure. He never told me his name, hardly spoke, and when he did, I was not able to understand him. I once lived in a foreign county for a few years where I did not speak the language well, so I try to be extremely sympathetic and patient for those trying to navigate the language that is not native to them. But this man was rude and spoke to the gal next to him in their language and snickered the entire time, so it felt like they were talking and making fun of me and the customer in the next chair. It was also the fastest pedicure I have ever had - he spent less than 20 minutes and acted pissed because I asked him to apply two coats of polish. I am used to having a pedicure that takes an hour - cuticles are trimmed and a base coat, 2 coats of polish and a top coat is applied. He did none of that except the 2 (begrudgingly )coats of polish. He then pointed to the manicure table that he wanted me to go to. I told him that I had torn one of my nails near the base and could he fix that since I couldn't have it cut off or there would be no space to do a French manicure as my nails were already somewhat short. He looked at it and grunted. I asked him again could he please glue it or something and he just grunted. He did nothing to repair it. Then he looked up and said, "you want flay?" It took about 3 times of me asking him to repeat please when I finally understood that he was asking if I wanted to pay before he applied the polish. Once again, the fastest manicure on earth. I have small ridges in my nails that are easily smoothed away by filing, but he did none of that. Also - no base coat and when he did apply a top coat, he hadn't waited long enough for the white part to dry completely, so it streaked the white part and the clear polish bubbled. He then pointed over at the drying table for me to go to. I had to turn the fan on myself and I never saw him again. I saw a sign on the wall while I was drying that said they offer coffee, tea or soda while you are getting your services. That would have been nice if I had been informed earlier, or, jeez, if they had actually OFFERED. I was out the door in less than an hour, yet when I made the appointment I was told that it would take approximately an hour each for the mani/pedi. No one was at the front desk when I left. The staff is amazing, however I give huge credit to Laura the owner-she oversees every technician and is constantly working to improve the already fabulous & comfortable atmosphere. With top of the line chairs, lighting and professionalism, there is no reason to choose anywhere else. My boyfriend who is notably a caveman of a guy, loves his pedicures-they supply him with sports fisherman magazines and he is happier than a clam. HORRIBLE. Worst customer service and worst pedicure I ever had. Usually pedicures last more than 25 minutes and technicians are thorough however they rushed through our pedicures and were not friendly. One of the technicians picked out my moms color and told her that was the color she was to use. Then when it was time to pay the bill the technician told her how much she was to tip. VERY rude and the pedicures sucked! I'm really disappointed that I picked this salon because of the positive feedback on Yelp. Ive gotten my nails done consistently for 5 years and I was disappointed at this place :( I'm from Texas and stopped here to get my nails done with "dip powder" apparently that isn't as popular here but it's a new product supposed to be A LOT healthier for your nails than acrylics. They only had about 20 colors to choose from (no bright colors) so I said no and the lady convinced me to get acrylic base clear coat and then gel polish on top. Still wasn't liking any of their colors (I always get pink) and they had very little selections of bright colors. Were in Florida for crying out loud, why no bright pinks or corals or oranges or something?! She didn't clean or file under my nails so I'm left with a bunch of hard glue and acrylic leftover gunk under my nails that I can't get off. And no cuticle oil??? read more

Service is good but the young guy that does the pedicures sucks... he does them really quick not enjoyable and doesn't scrub your heels/ feet at all and does a quick rub on your legs. Like the owner he is he awesome but I wouldn't go there again have the young guys to my pedicure. read more

Admittedly, I called at 5:30pm (they claim to close at 6:00pm). I asked if I come over in 10 minutes, would they be able to do my nails? Whoever answered said yes. I'm here for 3 months for work and am looking for a regular nail spot. I arrived with a friend and her small doggie in tow, to both get our nails done... The manager/owner guy was nice and politely told my friend, Rascal the dog, was not allowed. So, she said she'd be back to get me. Then, the "chatter" started. The nail techs were FIRED UP and I didn't need to speak their language to understand that they were pissed I was there at 5:45pm for a mani/pedi. They ushered me to a chair, with no water running and proceeded to betch back and forth for 5 minutes while I was in the chair with my color choice and no water in the pedi bowl... just me sitting there, watching the clock tick by and listening to them scream back and forth. NO THANK YOU. I happen to speak "betch" very well and I was not impressed with their customer service. So, after this 15 minute fiasco, I left, never to return. ("Day Spa" is a stretch) read more

I saw good recommendations on Venice Friendlies about cleanliness and use of liners - the first I've encountered in the area with attention to a clean salon. 5 stars for that! Sara is attentive to good nail cutting all around and not just across the top. Good massage with hot stones. They also do nail design for pedis which is also lacking at some other salons. I have been coming to T-Nails for a gel manicure about one year . I am unable to recommend them any longer. I have developed a fungus infection on both hands. Due to unclean contaminated nail polish. It is costing me in the hundreds of dollars in Dr.bills and medication. AND there is no guarantee that the meds will kill it. SO ! be ware!!! If u think it won't happen to you it can. They don't seem to care about the customer, it's all about doing quick job. They scrimp on the polish and then use it on both hands and feet to cost them less. They should be shut down . Worst manicure ever! The girl could hard speak English and I hard a very hard time understanding her. All she did was take off the old polish, rub some lotion on my hands, and put on new polish. Didn't push back the cuticles or trim around the nails; didn't even file the nails. I was in and out and back in my car in about 20 minutes. After I got home, I had to try and get the polish off my hands around the nails and under the nails. I made an appointment in advance and paid for a full manicure, not just a polish change. The polish was not put on evenly, it looks "glopped" on the nail. I won't be back. read more
