Just found this little gem. I am so glad I did!! The entire spa is newly appointed. They just opened this location in September 2020 (though they've been in business for 25 years at another location). It's beautiful and relaxing. The staff at the front desk are so welcoming and pleasant. Jeanie provided my facial. Hands down best facial I've ever had! She's the best! I will be back. I plan to bring my Mom and my Aunt with me next time! How have I not known about this place before now? I finished up my facial and inquired about a mani/pedi. They were able to fit me in with Azuree. She is capable and awesome with services she provides as well! I am completely satisfied with everything about this spa. Try it!! I was going to Venice to visit my parents and knew I'd want a facial while in town. I checked the reviews here and finally decided on Venice Day Spa - I am so glad I did! They text an appointment confirmation, which I love. And, they also told me my GPS might send me the wrong way so they made sure I knew where to go. When I arrived I was a little surprised because the place is primarily a hair salon. I assumed it was more about spa treatments than hair. Carrie(sp) came up to get me and take me to the room. I wondered if my facial would be relaxing with all the activity right outside the treatment room door. Surprisingly it was super quiet! She gives an excellent facial. Soothing, relaxing and pampered my sensitive and dry skin. She also gave me a wonderful hand and foot massage. I will book another facial with Carrie the next time I'm in town. First time there today! Reception was incredibly welcoming! My appointment was scheduled for a soft perm/beach wave with Galina. I have read her reviews and I assumed she was knowledgeable and professional. She was BEYOND. She took one look at my hair and said "no perm for you"!!! Your hair is brittle and it will not be good for you! She offered a nice cut and some natural highlights and root color. She said "I will put a curl product in your hair and you will have your perm!" She was fabulous - honest and professional! She offered a product that will give me the beach wave curl without the damaging perm. Perfect! I'm extremely satisfied. I do believe the rates were high - but as the saying goes...you get what you pay for! I got excellence! 5 star for this young lady! read more

An incident with an employee was handled with professional courtesy. My fees were waived and I received apologies from the Manager and owner who offered additional services which I respectfully and gratefully decline as I am not out to get something for free. Scheduling here is horrible. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago. They scheduled my appointment on the wrong month! Also, they don't offer the service I made the appointment for! I found out when I came in for my appointment... Not cool. I only came here because I was given a gift card (which they won't refund). I ended up having to reschedule a few weeks later. I got the champagne pedicure, which was amazing, but I don't think I will be a return customer. I had a scrub and massage by Julie at the spa a few weeks ago. I have had at least 50 massages and she was the BEST I have ever had. She gave the perfect deep massage without going too deep. It was so relaxing but therapeutic at the same time. I can't wait to go back. The entire staff was super nice. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Venice Day Spa for many years so of course I am disappointed about recent events. I usually get follow-up appointments every 4 weeks, but this time they had nothing in 4 weeks so I scheduled a 5 week app't and asked to be on a cancellation list. Could not tolerate my hair after the 4 weeks and was again told still no appointments so I gave up and went somewhere else. Customer loyalty apparently means nothing to Venice Day Spa. I am not convinced they tried very hard to fit me in to a cancellation. I adore my stylist, so feel badly, but will not be back. read more

Had a leg wax here recently and I regret to report that their methods are not sanitary. I realized toward the end of the service that Tiffany had used the same dip stick throughout the service. What if the client before me had had a bikini wax? Makes me sick to think about the germs in that wax pot. Additionally when I arrived, no one was at the front desk, no one asked if they could help me though several of the stylists and even Tiffany with whom I had an appointment passed by the reception area, looked at me and did not offer to help.
