I received the worst haircut of my life at Crazy Horse Salon. i have been going to Linda for years, but today she lost a client. My son's wedding is in one week, and I have been growing out my hair for months for the perfect hair cut. I took THREE pictures of essentially the same haircut, and she absolutely butchered my hair. I am so disgusted, and there is nothing I can do to repair it because she shaved all of my hair off. Her response, "I'm so sorry. I must have confused with another picture." I don tv know what picture she confused it with, but it wasn't one I showed her. Unbelievable. Don't waste your money $154 down the drain!!!! read more

Customer service: I've been going to crazy horse since salons opened post COVID. So I was becoming a regular until the past few months when I called to schedule an appointment. They couldn't schedule me for two months! Really!? Not sure what the deal was weather snow birds were taking precedence or vacationing etc. but you'd think they'd try to do better for regulars. After receiving two bad haircuts in the area in one day and woefully down on my hair Crazy Horse was recommended to me at my eye doctor. I was telling them about my two horrible haircuts in a row experience so they had pity on me and recommended this salon stating everyone there was good. Being a gambler with little hair left I called to make an appointment and was able to get in fairly quick (3 days and one of those Thanksgiving). How good can they be if I got in so quickly I wondered. The salon was very large and very nicely done and I guess the size of the place and the number of stylist is why I didn't have to wait a week or more to get in. Their newest stylist I was told had been there a mere 7 years. I don't think they experience much turn over here and after my haircut experience I can see why. The atmosphere is casual yet clean modern professional without being too froufrou. I was blown away with Cheryl and what a great job she did repairing what was left of my hair. I really thought it wasn't salvageable! I didn't know it was possible for my hair to even feel like a great cut running my fingers through it. It both looked and felt good!!!! I recently moved to the area and kept putting off cutting my hair and was dreading the task but had no idea how dire my predicament. Fear not anyone in my situation because Crazy Horse is THE place to go! Be you new to the area or here for the season you have to check this place out. I am so pleased to recommend this Venice, FL, salon. Being slightly crazy about my hair and having recently moved to the west coast of Florida, I was searching for a hair place in my new area. Move to sun coast about 1 1/2 years ago. The last person to do my hair to my satisfaction was in Dunedin which is too far for me to travel. After numerous tries, I looked on yelp and found Crazy Horse. My stylist, Lenka, is a true professional. She really knows her craft. She listened to what I wanted and made appropriate suggestions. She took her time. I never felt rushed. She really made me feel like I was her client, not just another customer. I will definitely return. And yes, my hair, which is thin and fine, looks fantastic. After reading reviews on yelp I booked an appointment at Crazy Horse. I explained that I loved my hair length and flip and found it easy to style. Wanted a trim. After Jen cut off three inches I was stuck with a traditional bob. No flip and layers that made it impossible to pull back. Cannot style it at all - hair just falls straight. Now I can wait a year for the layers to grow out. It's hard to find an experienced stylist who wants to maintain a following by cultivating clients. No customer service here. I have been snow birding for 3 years with no luck in finding someone to cut and style my hair. Checked reviews and a actually visited before I made an appointment First impression, busy place with old and young clients.. I had no recommendations so I took Saturday appointment with Hearher. Did not have to wait she took me on time. We discussed what I wanted and she suggested a deep conditioning before my cut. Worked great on my dried out sun stripped hair. Cut was fast and clean and simple . So far I am happy with the cut and the salon. We will see how it grows out. It am 60 with short thinning hair. I will be going back. read more
