I am so happy with my hair. Scott's pre cut consultations are amazing. He listens and has never made me feel like I am taking too much time etc. I love watching him work....... He takes his time and a beautiful precision cut is truly what you end up with. I can wake up, brush my hair and viola, it looks great. His environment is quiet and he gives you his full attention. Lastly, he doesn't sell product. I had been to a couple of salons in the area and the pressure to buy product was, for me, very unpleasant and uncomfortable. I ask for his suggestions. I had a very disappointing experience at Avenue Hair Design with stylist Madysn…read more Before my appointment, I was asked to send inspiration photos and was led to believe the look I wanted could be achieved. Had I been told otherwise, I would not have taken time off work, driven a significant distance, or rearranged my schedule. I felt misled. I was very clear that I wanted a blended blonde balayage with blonde throughout, including brighter face-framing pieces in the front, while keeping my natural darker root. I also requested baby lights throughout to match the inspiration photos. The results looked nothing like what I asked for. There is still a visible line/band and the color is not properly blended. The blonde I've had for years is gone, leaving my hair orange/caramel fading into light brown instead of blonde. I've been blonde for about 20 years and know this look is achievable, as my regular stylist has done it successfully for years. I also grew my hair out for over a year to keep it healthy and restore my natural dark roots, and that progress cannot be undone. I took before and after photos and have documentation. When I contacted the salon afterward, the front desk manager was dismissive, told me I was "wrong," and showed no concern for how unhappy I was. I was offered toning, but I do not feel comfortable allowing further chemical services due to the risk of damage, and I should not be expected to return after receiving results that were not what I requested. I will not be returning, and I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision THEY WILL NOT GIVE A REFUND!!!!
