I feel more relaxed and I did not leave feeling as if I was a human slip-n-slide like I am used to. her products had minimal smell and absorbed well. Such a lovely morning at Aura Organics! The lobby is beautifully decorated with beautiful artwork and other items for the body and soul! I was greeted warmly with a big smile by Angela. She ushered me into a softly lit room. The bed was comfortable with a nice terry robe. Everything was spotless. Loved every moment of the facial and the oh so relaxing foot and neck massage. I also had a waxing of eyebrows, lips and chin. She did a great job of arching my unruly brows! I had no idea about this business as I won a gift certificate upon bidding on a fundraiser for Our Mother's House of Venice. I had been traveling all the way up to Sarasota for my facials, but not anymore. Located one street over from Venice Avenue (The Main Street of Downtown Venice) It's on Miami Ave/Nokomis Av nestled next door to Venice Island Coffee and Fifi's. Parking is behind the building (Merchants of Venice) and lots more parking on Miami Ave. I love supporting local businesses as I am a resident of Venice. I just had an hour long massage by Kurt. He was very through and explained step by step how the massage was going to go and if he was using too much pressure to just let him know. He used the right amount of pressure and worked on my problem area (lower back). When I first walked in I felt absolutely horrible. My back was killing me and I felt sluggish. I was so relaxed by the time the massage was over I was literally snoring on the table. I definitely feel a lot better and barely any back pain The rest of the staff that I encountered was very courteous and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this Spa, I've had many facials, some in NY, DC, Sedona, etc., this is the best I've ever had. Angela totally customizes the facial for you and then has the BEST products available, if you want. There is NO pressure to buy any of the products, but I'm very glad I asked about them! What a wonderfully peaceful experience! My pedicure appointment was scheduled the day before, and when I came in, I was greeted by the owner, Angela. I had been running around the day before so my feet were swollen and I felt really stressed, so she created a soothing mixture of orange and Eucalyptus for me to soak in. Between the music and her foot massage I almost fell asleep in her chair. If you are looking for a quick in and out, this is not your kind of place. Not only did she come in on her day off, she carefully analyzed my skin needs and tailored a wonderful facial to meet those needs. Wow! I had the best time at this spa. I have been to day spas and away spas in many places and Aura is one of the best. The facility may be small (3 or 4 massage rooms), but the service and the unbelievably wonderful ambiance made size irrelevant. I had a detoxifying massage, a signature facial and a pedicure. My friend had a massage, facial and a mani/pedi. My masseuse, Sandy, is a lovely woman and the massage was wonderful. Sharon, who did my facial and pedi (both very relaxing and fun) was very skillful and gentle. Everyone at Aura was friendly, welcoming and down to earth. They made me feel at home and very comfortable, unlike some other spas. I felt cared for and cared about. The owner put aside a room for my friend and me to relax between appointments and to eat lunch, if desired. Unlike other spas, there was absolutely no pressure to buy product. I will definitely return to Aura the next time I am in Venice, and the next time, etc. read more

This place is so special! I'm typically weary of going to new places for facials because I end up feeling like they're charging me for a sales pitch on all their products (that they're expecting me to buy)... HOWEVER, the beautiful, friendly staff not only listened to my skin concerns & provided the most incredible service, but actually enabled me with the knowledge of the ingredients to use for items that I could make myself (even though they sell them)!! I ultimately ended up buying two products - free from pressure, at an incredible price - that they custom made for me & my personal skin concerns. My manicure and pedicure cost more than I normally pay, took twice as long as it should have, and was not a good experience. I brought my own chemical free polish along as what they had there was not as good as the brand I use. I don't use polish on my fingers and only wanted a buff and shine. My cuticles and nails don't even look like I had a manicure. There were too many interruptions during my services from other customers, the chair is uncomfortable and is not a spa chair, and there is no massaging foot bath. Even the arm and leg massages that are usually the most enjoyable part of a manicure and pedicure were mediocre. I will not be back. read more

i lived in venice florida for one year , during that time I had the pleasure of going to the aura organic spa and have Angela pamper me , the only thing I miss in Venice is this beautiful peaceful spa. hope to get back there this summer read more
