I had a great massage for Mauricio.... he was amazing!!! Tried the hydro luxe but I guess it ran out of water after five minutes I really didn't get to enjoy the full 15 minutes. That's why four stars. Would recommend....they have one of those monthly specials where you pay a certain amount and you get a massage... I honestly didn't listen to her since I don't live here so I didn't care....but it's available if you do live in the area. I don't normally write reviews but unfortunately this one is a must read for someone that is looking to stop by this place for a real facial or massage. I bought a package to get a facial and a massage, I first scheduled the facial and what the girl did was just put a hot towel on my face and then rubbing it around and then started massaging my upper chest with oil, that's all she did the rest of the time, I first thought she was preparing me for my facial, never got a facial, I left very disappointed. Then, a few days after I scheduled a swedish massage and again, the person just filled up my body with a greasy smelly oil and just rub my legs, my head and when he finally did my back It was nothing but rubbing my back with his greasy hands, not the kind of massage I was hoping to get and what I am use to, I left very disappointed once again. Do not waste your time and money in this place, they don't really have experienced employees with the proper training to do these jobs. read more

I love Massage Luxe. When we moved here 15 yr I joined another masage place, then another.....then others. This is my third facility and there is NO comparison! Massage Luxe here (on 41 S in Sarasota) are the best from beginning to end. Quick check in, wonderful calming down room, and excellent therapists. Then, there is the cherry topping of the the clean, professionally laundered sheets! Overall a wonderful and relaxing experience. Do not go here. I've had numerous issues but today was the last straw. Weeks ago I scheduled two 90 minute massages for me and a friend on a Saturday morning. Two weeks ago I received a message to reschedule the appointment. I called back to discover they only had one appointment for me, not for my friend, so I rescheduled my appointment for later in the day and once again scheduled an appointment for my friend at the same time. I called this past Tuesday to clarify the time due to the change and confirmed both appointments. Today we drove 45 minutes for our appointment to be told walking through the door that my friends appointment had to be rescheduled. The girl at the counter claimed to have tried calling me but apparently dialed the wrong number as I double checked my missed calls and voicemails and there was nothing from them. This girl expected my friend to just wait for me while I had a 90 minute massage... so I had to cancel mine. If this was the first issue I may have overlooked it. However, since becoming a member, I've had repeated customer service issues. When my membership was started it was in Ft Myers. I tried to transfer it to Sarasota but that could only be accomplished if I cancelled and restarted for a higher fee. So I had to leave it in Ft Myers. During Covid I accumulated 13 hours. I asked if I could pause my membership so I would stop accumulating, but was told I wouldn't be able to use my time if it was frozen unless I paid a $20 per month fee. To use hours I had already paid for! So I'm done. I'm not even going to use my time. I'm going to cut my losses and make sure every person I meet knows how terrible this experience has been. read more

I joined approximately 4 months ago and decided to cancel. They seem to go through a lot of employees and the level of service varies. The last two facials I had were done by employees with long nails. They wore gloves but I could feel the nails during the service. There should be a grooming code and obviously there is not. I like this place because I can usually get a last minute appointment and they always have excellent therapists on staff. The part I don't like is after relaxing I get hassled to sign up for a membership. I tell them every time that I don't mind paying the nonmember prices but they still hassle me every time. And NOW they are charging to use the hydro table. I always come in early to get on it so the therapist doesn't have to work so hard to soften me up. They offer complimentary water and hot tea in the lounge while you wait for your service provider. The massages and facials they offer are A M A Z I N G. The estheticans and therapists are very knowledgeable and communicate with you to accommodate your needs. The membership is very worth it. Everything is explained thoroughly. After a lot of arguing, they refunded my unused massages by mailing me a check. I certainly appreciate that, but it was the least they could do. The very, very least. They've since been calling my wife asking for me to remove my yelp review. That is not how reviews work. You need to treat people right the first time or at least after they complain a few times. It shouldn't take prolonged arguing and repeated public exposure to make you do the right thing. Especially if you claim to be offering people peace and wellness. You can't just expect the damage to disappear. I didn't get my time or stress back. I did remove my updated review about the bad treatment I received after they saw my initial review (below) and called me just to argue more without offering any corrective actions. I also added two pity stars because Luxe is a very nice facility, they have a fun water massage machine for member use, and the massage therapists seem to be very good. Tip those therapists well. Imagine the abuses they have to suffer under this management if this is how they treat paying members. Think about it - when I was denied my pre-paid massages it really just boiled down to the company blocking the funds from flowing out to one of the therapists. Those therapists are doing all the real work. They work very hard, often causing pain in their own bodies to help ours. The company already took the funds from me and wanted to hold onto those funds instead of happily paying them out to a therapist, which should be the core of their business model. Give the therapists a great place to work so they can in turn provide customers with a great experience. Simple, right? Luxe is right there on many fronts, they just need to put people over absurd, rigid policies and be a little nicer to customers. I know that isn't always easy. Customers can be a pain the rear, but perhaps a massage will help with that. I will let you know if they continue to harass my wife about my review. She is still a paying member, so hopefully they can find it in their hearts to treat her better. read more

My experience with Massage Luxe has been generally good. Kevin is great. Very disappointed in the booking process. Called this morning to use several of my prepaid hours to use for me and 2 guests visiting. I explained that when I called that I wanted to apply my prepaid hours for all three of us and it took a long time to get them booked and at the completion of the booking I was informed that I could only use one and there would be a $20 corporate fee. This is poor customer service. I will use my hours and switch to another place. I have been a member since they opened and now they have lost a customer. read more

The experience was very professional and relaxing. I had Cortney as my massage therapist. She is available M, Th, St, and Sn. There is free complementary water in their lounge. The massage tables are comfortable and heated. Everyone there working was very pleasant and friendly. The whole place has a relaxing vibe and is very clean. The lotion they put on you during the massage is very soft, soothing, and smells great. When you are done, you feel very relaxed and knots are gone. I signed up for a 90 minutes massage every month for me and my husband, cost of $78.00 month per person. So on July 29th 2018 we went in to have a facial and a massage realized we had like 7 hours each of massages that had build up from not going in every month. So I cancelled my husband account that day and put my account on hold until we used up what we had. So September 22 2018 I went in with my Daughter to have a 1 hour massage which they said I could use on my massages on other people. So when I arrived I told them I want to cancel my account they said we will take care of it when you leave. So when I went to leave my husband had $200 credit on his account I wanted to use for my daughter they informed me he lost that $200 because he only had 60 days to use it from the day of cancellation. So we cancelled on July 29th 2018 that would mean we had until Sept 29th 2018 and today is Sept 21 2018. So when I called them back to inform them about the date then they told me it is 60 days from the contract date which they told me mine was the 16th of every month was my automatic draw date . Basically they have $500 of my money totally with both accounts. They informed me the owners name is Ranee so they said she will be in on Monday. This is somewhere you go to distress not to be stressed out. On top of it they wanted another $20 for my daughter using my account and also I put my account on hold on July 29th 2018 but they kept drawing money off my card on August 16th and Sept 16th. And all I get is they want more money tip money and $20 for my daughter massage. And all I got was a young girl with no understanding and telling me its my problem and call corporate and put a complete on line. She was just making me more worked up every-time she opened her month They do have good facial and massage people. read more
