Read their one star google reviews for more accurate information. The owner tries to discredit all negative reviews. Please do yourself a favor and look at this trend for yourself. They are not hygienic, they do not inject properly but you won't figure this out until it's too late. Beware!!! And heaven forbid you leave a negative review, you will not be treated with respect. I've been to many places for Botox and fillers throughout the years. I'm always skeptical when I am in a new location and need to find someone to trust. I scheduled my first appointment for Botox and was pleasantly surprised not only by the results and the professionalism of the staff, but at how clean the sanitary the salon was. It was during COVID so there were restrictions that were in place and followed precisely by everyone there. Kathleen really did a great job and took her time with me. I felt so assured that she would do a great job that I scheduled fillers for the afternoon. Wow! Is all I can say. She really did a great job! Better than I've been getting up north. I went for Botox and all they wanted to do is take pictures and try to up sell me in how much filler I would need. Approximately $1800 would be a good start and then 6 months later another $1800. Then rescheduled me to come in for a revisit in 2 weeks so they have another shot of selling you filler. Did not like their sales tactics. I will not go back again and will tell my friends the same. Plus I was bruised for 2 weeks. Unhappy with the Bowtox Boutique even at their good price. read more

I've been going here for 3 years with good results until recently. I was put on the spot upon arrival and asked whether I'd be comfortable with a "new injector in training" administering my fillers. I could tell the filler wasn't massaged in enough and also felt nervous about having worked with someone new. I hadn't seen her work nor done the consultative vetting that one should do prior to having a needle injected into one's face. They were SO botched. I called in to notify. All appointment slots were taken, but due to the nature of the concern I got in. After driving across town for a dissolving treatment, I waited a week before calling to schedule again. They were still uneven. I was told that this may take a couple tries. At no point in time was "I'm sorry" ever said. Not how I expect to be treated after this. I was able to get another appointment & drove across town to have another dissolving treatment done. 0 empathy. No offer to help right this at all other than just dissolving until I had barely any filler left and had thinner lips than before this mess. After calling to explain that I need to book ASAP for a filler treatment to get my lips back to normal - silence. No willingness to fit me in. Just "we're very busy." The aloof (Sarasota. Big fish in a small pond complex) mentality was nuts. I emailed & called a couple of times asking to help me by fixing a problem they caused. I let them know that I have a family vacation coming up and this is embarrassing. I found a new place who studied my lips carefully before injecting. They informed me that my injections were too deep and close to an artery and that some of the additional product from the recent botched filler was too shallow and not massaged in properly. They took photos of the inside of my lips to show me the product build up back there due to poor injection practices. After a lack of care or concern from Bowtox, I called the Med Director (Dr. Holcomb) and reached his assistant. Not knowing the hierarchy of the organization, I assumed this would be the appropriate channel. Shortly after, I got a panicked call from the office manager asking why I didn't go to her. (?) I was kind throughout this entire scenario, not losing my patience or having a sense of entitlement beyond what is reasonably acceptable in this situation. I received a bizarre, scolding voicemail from the owner. I've transcribed it below: (note - no 'I'm sorry") + condescending tone: "Hey Ashley this is Desmond the owner of Bowtique Med Spa. I was hoping you would've spoken to me cause I normally solve all these problems. I wish you would've called back and said to Brittany or Cynthia whoever you called - 'Can I talk to the owner' and you would've gotten a hold of me, I could've solved this problem for you, since the owner usually consults problems. Um, and I actually hired the medical director. The medical director works for the owner, so I'm the top of the chain and you could've demanded to speak to the owner and I could've gotten you in earlier because I organize everything and you could've just said 'hey Brittany or cynthia' who is the owner? And they would've said 'Desmond the owner' and that would've been me and I could've gotten you in and I'm the one who also gives you the refund which is what I'm gonna do right now but I wish you would've known if you were upset you could speak to the owner and you wouldn't have had to go anywhere but me. Thank you. Bye. Anyway I will process your refund, but I was hoping to speak to you" He called from a blocked number. Being that he has a corporate background, 25 years as a financial adviser for AmEx, he is profit-driven with a lack of medical or customer service background. If that's not enough, Cynthia sent ME a breakup letter in the mail letting me know that I've been discharged from the clinic. "Please except this letter as a notice of discharge" (you mean accept but OK) Classic "you can't quit, you're fired!" It's laughable. read more

I visited the Bowtox Med Spa for the first time late summer. I had just moved to the area and did some research, so I decided to make my appointment after reading the reviews. I was greeted by Cynthia, the office manager who is ALWAYS very sweet and accommodating (I've called a few times to book other procedures since my 1st visit). I also met the owner who told me about the practice and his background. He listened to my concerns and suggested I do what I came in for- he was not pushy at all. This was a huge plus in my book, because they want to make sure that we represent their expertise and artistry when we are out of the office. In a way, we represent their work and I have been MORE THAN HAPPY with every procedure. Jen came out to greet me and we talked of my concerns and she went along with what I wanted to have done. She took pictures ( which I've never had done before at any other office in New York), she cleaned my face ( which I've never had done), she told me step by step what was happening and was truthful. She made some suggestions for the future and I had those in my mind but NEVER did I feel pressured to do something I didn't intend to have done. I had my first appointment here about 10 days ago and it certainly won't be the last. I saw an add for special pricing being offered for dysport and I happen to be "due". I usually have it administered by a plastic surgeon, so this was a big 1st for me. Everything about the experience was pleasant and positive. The office was nice and clean. They had a great special and I'm really happy with my results. The injector has like 15 yrs experience and took her time with me.
