I've been going here for 3 years with good results until recently. I was put on the spot upon arrival and asked whether I'd be comfortable with a "new injector in training" administering my fillers. I could tell the filler wasn't massaged in enough and also felt nervous about having worked with someone new. I hadn't seen her work nor done the consultative vetting that one should do prior to having a needle injected into one's face. They were SO botched. I called in to notify. All appointment slots were taken, but due to the nature of the concern I got in. After driving across town for a dissolving treatment, I waited a week before calling to schedule again. They were still uneven. I was told that this may take a couple tries. At no point in time was "I'm sorry" ever said. Not how I expect to be treated after this. I was able to get another appointment & drove across town to have another dissolving treatment done. 0 empathy. No offer to help right this at all other than just dissolving until I had barely any filler left and had thinner lips than before this mess. After calling to explain that I need to book ASAP for a filler treatment to get my lips back to normal - silence. No willingness to fit me in. Just "we're very busy." The aloof (Sarasota. Big fish in a small pond complex) mentality was nuts. I emailed & called a couple of times asking to help me by fixing a problem they caused. I let them know that I have a family vacation coming up and this is embarrassing. I found a new place who studied my lips carefully before injecting. They informed me that my injections were too deep and close to an artery and that some of the additional product from the recent botched filler was too shallow and not massaged in properly. They took photos of the inside of my lips to show me the product build up back there due to poor injection practices. After a lack of care or concern from Bowtox, I called the Med Director (Dr. Holcomb) and reached his assistant. Not knowing the hierarchy of the organization, I assumed this would be the appropriate channel. Shortly after, I got a panicked call from the office manager asking why I didn't go to her. (?) I was kind throughout this entire scenario, not losing my patience or having a sense of entitlement beyond what is reasonably acceptable in this situation. I received a bizarre, scolding voicemail from the owner. I've transcribed it below: (note - no 'I'm sorry") + condescending tone: "Hey Ashley this is Desmond the owner of Bowtique Med Spa. I was hoping you would've spoken to me cause I normally solve all these problems. I wish you would've called back and said to Brittany or Cynthia whoever you called - 'Can I talk to the owner' and you would've gotten a hold of me, I could've solved this problem for you, since the owner usually consults problems. Um, and I actually hired the medical director. The medical director works for the owner, so I'm the top of the chain and you could've demanded to speak to the owner and I could've gotten you in earlier because I organize everything and you could've just said 'hey Brittany or cynthia' who is the owner? And they would've said 'Desmond the owner' and that would've been me and I could've gotten you in and I'm the one who also gives you the refund which is what I'm gonna do right now but I wish you would've known if you were upset you could speak to the owner and you wouldn't have had to go anywhere but me. Thank you. Bye. Anyway I will process your refund, but I was hoping to speak to you" He called from a blocked number. Being that he has a corporate background, 25 years as a financial adviser for AmEx, he is profit-driven with a lack of medical or customer service background. If that's not enough, Cynthia sent ME a breakup letter in the mail letting me know that I've been discharged from the clinic. "Please except this letter as a notice of discharge" (you mean accept but OK) Classic "you can't quit, you're fired!" It's laughable. read more

Horrible!!! I'm giving my bad review BASED on the awful service this clinic provided to me on my appointment, here at this clinic I had one of the worst moments of my life and as a costumer I want to post my review based on my experience, starting for the awful costumer service provided by Cynthia White and the owner, their costumer service is just the worst costumer service ever but I also want to give my review based on the quality of their products. The product that they use is the kind of product that is cheap for a reason, the product doesn't last long, please do your search, don't come here for the price, after my awful experience here at this clinic I ending finding a better place where they educated me showing that there's products that can last from 18 months to 3 years(here they don't provide this products). Here they just offer products that last no more than a year, this place is cheap for a reason, and the reason is their product doesn't last. Don't waste your money at this place, they offer products that will not last on your face, why should we apply a product that last up to 1 year when we can apply products that last from 18 months to 3 years? Please do your search, don't waste your time here, go somewhere else where you can pay for quality! I paid just a little bit more this time and got results that can last for 3 years in a different place. BASED on the BAD QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT and AWFUL costumer service, I don't recommend this place. They are cheap for a reason, you get what you pay for, talking with my friends about my awful experience at this place I found out that some of my friends stooped coming here because they wouldn't happy with their results. So buyers BE AWARE and DO YOUR SEARCH call different places, asked about how long their product last and you will educated yourself instead of just trust good reviews that this owner say he has but in the end of the day he can give himself good reviews, a real costumer have no reason to waste time giving fake reviews, please educate yourself because if you call different places and ask about their quality and how long their product last you will know why this place is cheap, but is cheap for a reason. My message is please do your search so you don't need to trust something that is not real, cheap products with no quality don't last that is the real message of my review, we spend lots of money with our beauty procedures we need to do our search . read more

Every woman will or has experienced that visit to the mirror that stunned her; her mother was staring back at her. Not the beautiful loving mother of her youth, but the mother she has watch age. It used to be an unsettling day, but in the 21st Century, and in the skilled and caring hands of Kathleen at Bowtox Boutique Med Spa in Sarasota, it is just a day of reckoning. Bowtox Boutique Med Spa is a place you can go and receive the care and treatments needed to present your best self. Desmond, and all his staff are dedicated to using the technology and treatments available that will enhance your natural beauty allowing you to turn the hands of time back without losing the natural features that make you, you. I know they are superior. Considering that I pay less here than I have ever paid at any other facility, and that I receive what I know is superior care and treatment, I will never go anywhere else. Love this spa. KATHLEEN is fabulous. Prior to using this spa, I never knew what hiccup I was going to encounter--one eyebrow higher than the other or one side of my lips larger or smaller than the other side or heavy bruising. Nothing close to this has happened to me at Bowtox Boutique. I have also begun to get dermal infusion (face vacuuming). After seeing two other estheticians, LACY is the best--she is a KEEPER. She is thorough, patient and very knowledgeable from her previous experience working with plastic surgeons. Though I am closer to another location, I go to the Hwy. 41 site to ensure seeing LACY AND KATHLEEN. Additionally, I have very, very wrinkled hands. When I had a hand treatment done and chose not to get more filler, it did not look as I had expected. The owner realized what had happened and called me to offer a refund to use toward other services. All of this and the service is really upbeat and welcoming. read more

I am very pleased that I chose Bowtox Boutique Med Spa for my Botox treatment. After seeing their advertisement, a friend and I dropped by to check them out. We were greeted by Desmond, the owner. Not only did he answer all of our questions, he was able to get us in for treatments that same day. While we waited in the lounge, we were given beverages and Desmond gave us information about the staff and medical director. Jen was very thorough in her consultations with us. She also scheduled follow-up appointments for us, which I've never experienced after Botox treatments. I was impressed by the professional, friendly staff and will be recommending this Med Spa to everyone I know. Thank you to Desmond and Jen for making us feel so comfortable. I'm a VIP member and have already booked my next appointment! read more

I went to one of the luncheon's that Botox Boutique Med Spa periodically has yesterday. They are amazing. The representative's from the company's are so knowledgeable. They helped me better understand the product's and what they are used to treat. The staff is also there to give free, private, consultation's for each individual's need's. They provide an amazing, healthy lunch for everyone to take advantage of, as well as raffle's for free product's and service's. I would highly recommend everyone interested in knowing more about the product's and service's provided, attend one of these luncheon's at Botox Boutique Med Spa. They're the best for these kind of service's, and they use the best quality product's there is!!! read more

This facility is amazing! It is well decorated and spa-like. Cynthia, the office manager, was extremely welcoming, attentive, and informative. Desmond, the owner, sat and chatted with my husband and me while we waited for my appointment. Jen, the P.A. who did my work, was the best I have had. I had Dysport (tox) and also fillers in my lips and lip lines. Jen is an artist! She took photos, marked injection sites, prepared my lips so the procedure was basically pain free. I am so happy with the results and get many compliments on my lips. It took years off my appearance! I highly recommend this facility and can't wait for my return to Florida and my visit to Botox Boutique Med Spa. read more

I had my lips injected for the first time today. I've never been so comfortable during a procedure before. I was talked to the entire time from start to finish. I was informed of all my options on "type" of filler and wasn't pushed into choosing a certain product. We came up with a plan and talked about her technique, and began. Before each "poke" she let me know where she was going and left me without any surprises. The end result is GORGEOUS. I could not be happier. I'll definitely be returning for fills in the future. I'm new to the area and can't really recommend this place to a friend, however I'm here saying if you're on the fence and reading this, make an appointment!!! read more

I recently went to Bowtox Boutique for the second time. I have to say that after various attempts at getting fillers with various injectors, I have never before had as great an experience with such a wonderful result. Not only does Kathleen take a lot of time in perusing one's face and facial structure, but she listens carefully to one's needs and respects them. She does not try to sell you more than you want and when she finally injects, it is virtually painless and the results are beautiful. I'm 74 and went in looking droopy and hollow. Came out looking full and fresh. Simply marvelous! read more

I am SO happy I discovered this gem of a place! A relaxing, clean and professional establishment with fantastic staff. Cynthia booked my appointment and is the first welcoming smile you meet when you arrive. My appointment was with Jennifer: she is very knowledgable and so nice! She took her time explaining everything to me, listened to my concerns and understood exactly what I was looking to have done. I could not be happier with my results!! Just simply a wonderful place! I can't wait to come back :) Thank you Desmond, Jennifer and Cynthia for such a great experience. -mj read more

I definitely recommend Bowtox Boutique Med Spa, Today I returned after having great results from my first visit 8 month ago. Kathleen is wonderful! She knows exactly what products to use for the best results for your specific needs. The professionalism begins when you call to book an appointment with Cynthia, she is pleasant and personable and when you walk through the door you're greeted in the same manner. No one is pushy to sell you more services or products, so you can relax. I'll be returning as no need to go anywhere else with the expertise you experience here! read more
