This is such a great place. I go for monthly facials with Nancy and Botox maintenance with Liz. Have also had Microneedling and Sculptra and really saw a difference. I only wish they would start offering lazer treatments, that's the only thing missing from Venus Spa. read more

The time has come that injections are needed... many men and women fear that if they do get injected it means that they are fake or insecure about the natural process of getting older. I seriously have been debating back and forth about getting injected especially because of the amount of $$$ it can cost and for what?! a couple of wrinkles on my forehead.. I came across Venus Med Spa on my Google page and called. I reached a women named Kelsey on the phone where she talked me through the process, let me know that I wasn't alone thinking maybe I'm too young to get injected but that these lines were bothering me. Kelsey responded that "neurotoxins" like Xeomin/Dysport/Botox are not only a solution to fine lines/wrinkles/skin folds but that these products are "Preventative". Any ways... I'm not the one to write reviews I'm more so the one that emails the corporation right away angry at something but she was very kind and seemed happy and knowledgeable about the company she works for! Horrible unprofessional managers! I have been a customer here for several years. The one time I had an issue with a filler treatment I received they were not willing to take responsibility for it. And the manager made a snide insulting remark mocking my face. I'd rather pay a little more at the laser lounge and receive 110% professionalism and satisfaction where they pride themselves in their work. Let me start off with the fact that I have NOTHING negative to say about this place which is saying a lot coming from me as I am very picky lol. I came to get lip injections (I ended up getting some tox too because the price was so good!) from the moment I entered everyone was incredibly sweet. The receptionist was so friendly and professional, and made me feel immediately comfortable. The spa itself is stunning and impeccably clean. I was treated with versa and tox by the outstanding Yvonne. She was so nice and professional..and made me feel completely comfortable and informed on everything she was doing. I have had lip injections before and have always been a person who is bad with needles. The pain level of the procedure was little to none (she made sure to check the whole time!) which had me so happy I can't tell you. The results were nothing short of gorgeous and I am one very happy customer. I will definitely be back in the future for more treatments and highly recommend Venus for their wonderful staff, incredible prices, impeccably clean and calming atmosphere, stunning results and overall excellence. This place does not do face fillers. It is mislabeled on yelp as being able to do so. I walked in and was turned away. They only do Botox.

I won't recommend this place! Stay far away !! If anyone likes it they probably have never been anywhere else to realize how unprofessional this place is! They use a set dosage that is not customized to an individual persons needs. But I thought that I'd give it a try anyways, it wore off in less then a month and a half! When I went for a follow up appointment they said that I must have got a bad batch but won't do anything to accommodate me! This place is a joke !! Had my lips done here few months ago and it was GREAT. Went back few weeks ago and got them done again and the results are HORRIBLE!!!!!! SPEND ALOT OF $$$$$.... Lost volume after 1 WEEK . Yes one week Called them back and they said I need to come in which I did. They took pictures and said they will talk to the manager and give me a call with 2 days... Waited 2 weeks and NO CALL. Called them back and they said " oh there's nothing we can do for you, it is what it is' I'm sorry but when you spend money you would like to see some results, not losing it after few days, I understand that this is a voluntary treatment and the results may vary. I had a treatment done with the PA Karen at Southgate. She was absolutely amazing and so gentle. I had my lips and lines filled with Juvaderm, my cheeks filled with Radiesse and my frown (or 11's) treated with Dysport. When I turned 50 I began seeing those annoying wrinkles that we all hate. All of my friends were having Botox and collagen injections to fill wrinkles. I decided to see a plastic surgeon for a consultation. The week following my consultation I had collagen injections from nose to mouth. Not only was it painful, it lasted for only 1 month. A year later I tried again using a different plastic surgeon. Again it was painful without lasting results. I decided injections were useless. Then Venus Med Spa opened in the Sarasota Southgate Mall. Naturally I was skeptical about having injection again. After meeting the Physician Assistant and I decided to give it another try. After my first Radiesse injections I was amazed to see the results. The technique they use minimizes discomfort as well as redness and bruising .You are able to return to your normal activities immediately. The products they use last longer then any of the collagen products that were used on me in the past. I would give no stars if I could. I have used xeomin, dysport and botox for many years now. I was talked into dysport because that is obviously what Venus gets their best pricing on. I have never had such poor results, if truthfully any at all, as I did with Venus Med Spa in Sarasota. I was told after seeing no results after 2 weeks that I would need to come back for a touch up. Not only did they charge me for the touch up, it did nothing and I basically got stuck with the same amount of needles with again no results. I have read that they are either not mixing their product correctly or as people say "watering" their product down, but whatever they are doing, don't waste your money! I don't live in Sarasota anymore and I shouldn't have to go back repeatedly and be stuck over and over to still have the same amount of wrinkles! I don't see them paying me for my time, gas or energy, especially when they provide no results and charge a lot of money in the first place. read more
