We actually arrived 30 minutes early just because we could and were seated fairly quickly. The water in my tub was much too warm and I told the girl to make it cooler. I'm not sure if she didn't understand, but it didn't get cooler, so I asked again. It STILL didn't get cooler. Ugh. We sat in chairs at 4:04 and we were out of there by 4:42. While the polish looks fine and it was generally an overall "fine" experience, it just didn't stand out to me and we expected the massage parts to take longer. She didn't even massage my feet. The massage chair was my least favorite part; felt like I was riding a roller coaster or something. The control panel was whacked! I think the cleanliness of the salon is lacking as well. There were hair particles on the chairs and on the counter when I went to pay. Yuck. I've already got a dedicated nail place in VB, so I'll stick with that one.

I assumed it was 2 per hand so when they told me that it was an up charge for the extra two I'm positive I must have made a face because they didn't charge me in the end. The young man who did my mani/pedi did a good job but the owner had to step in when it came to the tiny designs. He did try though. Only negatives about his manicure job is that I had to keep pointing out that he filed a few nails unevenly but fixed them when I asked. No complaints in English but he was speaking to the other young man the whole time while doing my nails in a different language. So who knows. Then their white gel nail polish was old, he was literally digging in to it to get some on his brush and there were black specs inside which made him have to wipe and redo the nails again a few times until he grabbed another almost empty white bottle. Which worked. I believe this caused bubbles in the gel because I had to point out to him that there were bubbles in my cured gel, he just said he'd fix it by cutting them out. Which he did with a cuticle cutter but then it left an indent in my nail polish. The nails and pedi came out pretty, eventually, for the price I just wish the design wasn't rushed. Overall I'm not displeased but not against trying another facility before coming back. *update: My mani nails only lasted a week before starting to peel off, which makes me so sad because I did like the design for the most part. Pedi nails are still going strong though.

So, the first two times I went to this salon I was pleased with the level of service - went there…read moreon the recommendation of a friend who is a regular there. However, the last time I went for a mani/pedi (regular clear polish on nails, regular colored polish on toes), there was a lot to be desired. The lady did my nails first, so when I went to the pedi chair I obviously could not get my shoes and socks off due to wet nails. She tried to take my compression socks off (came from work) and said it was too hard. I wanted to say so why did you do my hands first, but I bit my tongue and she finally got my socks off after I suggested she roll them down. Then, another lady came to do my feet and she looked and acted so tired, like it was such an effort to do my pedicure. It was the worst pedicure I've had in a long time. She kept messing up my great toe when polishing and instead of starting over she would use the cuticle clippers and just scrape off a section of polish and redo just that part, which looked terrible. I could go on, but that's enough, except to say they asked me to leave at 638 while I was sitting under the dryer and they locked up and went home - they close at 7. It was a crappy experience. Not sure if I'll give them another try or not.

At this point, I think I've tried just about every pedicure package they offer, and I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxing without feeling over-the-top or pretentious, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the service. The only thing to be aware of is that they haven't always accepted credit cards. They do have an ATM in the shop and also accept Venmo and Zelle, so it's never really been an issue. My wife mentioned that when she went in for Mother's Day, they had a card reader again, so that may no longer be a concern. Overall, great service, friendly people, and a place I keep coming back to. Highly recommended.
