A friend made appointments for pedicures for us on a Friday afternoon. The salon is large and has a couple of places to sit while you wait. We actually arrived 30 minutes early just because we could and were seated fairly quickly. The water in my tub was much too warm and I told the girl to make it cooler. I'm not sure if she didn't understand, but it didn't get cooler, so I asked again. It STILL didn't get cooler. Ugh. We sat in chairs at 4:04 and we were out of there by 4:42. While the polish looks fine and it was generally an overall "fine" experience, it just didn't stand out to me and we expected the massage parts to take longer. She didn't even massage my feet. The massage chair was my least favorite part; felt like I was riding a roller coaster or something. The control panel was whacked! I think the cleanliness of the salon is lacking as well. There were hair particles on the chairs and on the counter when I went to pay. Yuck. I've already got a dedicated nail place in VB, so I'll stick with that one. read more

Run from this salon. If I could give negative stars I would! Look at the pictures! My experience cost me far more than money....it may have permanently damaged my natural nails! I stayed with Davina at Devinn Nail Bar for nearly two years because it was convenient to my house and they could do the simple nail art I liked. Looking back, that was a huge mistake. They butchered my nails. Every single appointment was painful. I repeatedly told them they were hurting me while filing, and every time I was told to "relax." I trusted that maybe this was normal because they were the professionals. It wasn't. I finally went to a new salon, and the nail technician was shocked when she examined my nails. She told me this was one of the worst over-filed sets she had seen in her career. The techs at Devinn nail bar had not only over-filed my nails every time, but had filed deep grooves into my natural nail plates. Every fill left visible gouges in my actual nails. Because of the damage, my nails are now lifting from the nail bed. I've been told I need to remove my nails completely and take a long break to give them the best chance to heal. Recovery is expected to take many months, and there is no guarantee they'll return to normal. This is on top of being treated rudely, long wait times, constantly increasing prices, being confronted by management over my honest review, and being treated differently after I expressed concerns. I regret staying as long as I did. If I had known the long-term damage being done every time I sat in that chair, I would have left a long time ago! read more

I was getting my nails don't many are not the same size or one is to short. I had cut my thumb a few days before I asked to be be gentle with it and when she was shaping the nail her hit my thumb and I flinched and she actually whacked me on top of the hand with the nail file . Not to mention all the times I've been here we wait is so long because there are literally no workers read more

Professionalism was great, customer service was nice. It's been 2 weeks and my nails are still going strong! They were able to see us right away but we did come first thing in the morning. The place was very clean and well maintained. Took my niece as well and she was comfortable and they had great conversations with her while she also got her nails done. My sister-in law's nails were great too! Overall, definitely a returning customer out of me read more

OUCH OUCH OUCH!! Spent $102 on a full set of nails only to have 7 sores and three pus bubbles form on my skin next to the nail. It was because the tech put too much gel on my skin and it rubbed in and caused too much pressure. Ended up having to cut my brand new nails to get the gel out of my skin. Then had to go buy a cream to help with the pain. I called and unfortunately they won't do refunds only a store credit. Surprised they wouldn't do a refund as it was clearly due to their technician not filing away the excess gel that was on my skin. I was told it could be because my skin is "too sensitive" umm no. 2nd time back, but with a different tech! now initially i was in love with these nails. after i took that first photo, i realized a few small blemishes; there's like a bubble in the thumb, the middle finger white line isn't in line with the black so the black shows through, & the ring finger white line just isn't as straight as the others. they were $97. now what i should've done was inspect them harder while i was still there & have her redo the nails i didn't love, but i did not so that's on me‍. still decently cute though the next pic was a day or two later. read more

Decent work, cuts corners. I don't usually get my nails done but was impressed with the speed and quality of the acrylics themselves. I will say with them prioritizing speed for walk ins, the correct prep for the natural nail is not being done. It might just be due to the specific person that did my nails, but I would keep this in mind if you care about the health of your natural nails. read more

2nd time here with the family. This place is super nice and clean. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. They have lots of massage chairs which is my jam while they make my feet ready for flippy flops! Very relaxing, especially when they are rubbing sugar scrub on your legs and feet. The warm wax is also pretty fun! Wifey got her nails done and they look great! My daughter sat next to me and did the pedicure with me. She was happy with the results! I spoke with the Manager and we was awesome! This place is great! For you men out there, I challenge you to pop in here and do the foot spa and pedi while your significant other is spending money in Target!! So relaxing, and we need self care too! read more

I came in to get my eyebrows waxed and the lady who did them took off half my eyebrow. When I looked at them in the mirror and noticed, she responded with "there wasn't hair there" I know my dang eyebrows and there's most certainly hair there. Definitely do get your eyebrows done here. read more

Aside from the nail tech saying hardly anything to me at all (guess that's the repercussions of going with just the classic and not overly priced frill services), I came home and a few hours after being home I put on rubber gloves to do some light cleaning. If i could give this place zero stars i would. The pricing is outrageous. For a manicure and pedicure for two people the total was 281 dollars. That is absolutely insane pricing especially when I'm used to getting a full set for 60 and a pedicure for 30. I had to tell the nail tech three different times i wanted my toes painted white. First she started paining them pink, then she tried to give me a French tip. I looked at my friend like, what's happening? Am i not being clear? Now as for my friend, it was the day before her wedding. She asked for marble nails, the nails she ended up with looked like some random green zig zag graffiti. It was not marble at all. And if i had a picture of hers, i would show you. As for mine, my nails aren't even the same size and if you don't believe me, that i can and will show you!! 0/0 recommend. Paying 349 dollars (because i work in service and even though it was undeserving, i still tipped) was not on my 2025 bingo card. Outrageous. read more

I absolutely HATE my nails. The acrylic overlay is so thick that it looks like chiclets. The technician Mingh didn't listen to anything i was and idk if it was a language barrier or what. He cut my original nail which wasn't what i wanted. I've tried to give this place multiple tries and still disappointed. read more

I made an appointment here for my wife for Mothers Day. I was surprised that they had appointments still available, but was happy they did, as I arranged it within a week of Mothers Day. I made the appointment on their website - no problems at all, actually quite quick and easy. My wife was happy with the pedicure she received but had a few things she thought they could've done a bit better with. She did say she would go back, so probably a 4 star experience with the pedis itself. So why a 3 star review? Well there was apparently no benefit to having made an appointment! when my wife showed up and told them about the appointment, she was treated exactly the same way that she would've if she'd walked in on a whim (Please sign in and have a seat, wait for the next available tech). Very disappointing, as she had to wait 40 minutes past the scheduled time, and was about to walk out. That kind of treatment is 2 star service at best. so overall a 3 star review. I was disappointed overall. read more

I have had a few pedicures in the past, but this one was one of the best! I opted for the collagen spa package and was not disappointed! The hot stone massage was amazing! Chloe was awesome and always made sure I was enjoying the experience. This place was extremely clean and all of the staff were attentive and did their best to make sure everyone was satisfied. I went in to get a powder dip service. The nail tech that did my nails was amazing! Tinn was excellent at paying attention to detail. It has only been my second time getting the powder dip (first experience at another salon was horrible) and I will definitely be returning here!!! They are clean, friendly, offer you something to drink, and are decently priced. read more

I had so hoped I would like this place because of the reviews. There were both good and bad. The good: Very very clean. New sterilized implements and single use file, buffer and foot scrubber. All creams/lotions were in single cups that were discarded after use. The bad: Cut my toe nails so short there is no whites left. They are hurting already (less than 2 hours). The manicure polish (did clear only) was globbed on so thick, it was rediculous. Sat under the polish dryer for a long time to dry them. The polish literally shriveled up (you could see it when I took my hands out to look at them as they dried. There is not a smooth nail on my hands. I went out of my way to go here. Guess I'll find someplace else where I pay 25.00 for a manicure and at least my nails will look good. read more

What a beautiful salon. We came in for 2 spa pedicures and were able to be seen right away (10:15am on a Thursday). Anthony and Lisa were very kind and did a wonderful job. Each client that came in after us were also promptly greeted and seated for their service. The salon is super clean and everything was sanitized after use (unless it was a one-time use item). The kindness we were treated with was just beyond expectations and we will be returning. read more

The inquiry was late, but I got a call from the salon mid-morning the very next day. The person who called me was so nice and answered my preliminary questions. It turned out that Kayla had availability that same day, so I jumped at the chance. - Kayla - My sister-in-law raved about her, so I was expecting no less. Kayla was super friendly when we met and asked what I had in mind. I also asked her the same out of curiosity lol... "as a hairstylist, what are you dying to do to my hair right now?" We came to an agreement (I wasn't feeling drastic this go around), but she did want to bring my hair back to a more healthy look. What I got: a haircut. She actually cut it twice, because the first time, she cut a few inches off, but I was being a little more daring and decided to cut another few inches off. I had so much hair! Due to my Asian heritage and the way Asian hair tends to behave, she suggested and asked that she reverse the process and cut my hair while it was dry, then wash and them blow dry. That was a great suggestion, because there weren't any surprises and it shows that she knows what she is doing! Result: The proof is in the pictures. I'll leave it at that. I must have lost a good 2 lbs just from the cut. It. feels. so. good. I ended up getting the leave-in conditioner that she used on my hair which was $47. A little steep, but it'll probably last me awhile. Things to note: - AVEDA products for sale only, unless AVEDA does not make a certain product. They have a mix of CBD products. - They are open late for working customers which I thought was very nice. I got an appointment at 7pm. - Stylist price varies according to education and experience. Kayla's haircut starts at $60 depending on texture and length, but my hair is in the middle, not thin and not that thick. I was charged $60, which I was so happy about because have you called around for haircuts these days? Kayla can take my money! - you can get $25 credit for referring new customers! The salon was pretty spacious too, and clean. Just a nice vibe. They don't play super loud music and play the chill vibe tunes, staying true to the word "spa" in their name. I'm not getting any younger and being a mom now leaves little time for self care, which is required now more than it used to be. My sweet friend kindly gifted me some credit to use and I stopped in last week. I had initially been considering botox, but thought it best to get an expert's opinion. I made an appointment with their NP, Suzanne. I arrived a little early to check in and complete forms. After completing paperwork, I was invited to get a beverage or snack while I waited. They offer hand sanitizer in many locations and everyone wore a mask through my entire visit. They took me back right at my appointment time - also appreciated. My first stop was the Visia skin analysis room where Suzanne and I chatted about my concerns and skin history - I spent most of my teen years in a tanning bed and have a lengthy history of melanoma and BCC, some of which have been removed from my face. The Visia was insightful and allowed Suzanne to make recommendations based on underlying damage and redness (thanks, genetics!). I learned that botox was the last thing I needed, go figure! She offered some really good recommendations, starting with a compound topical which is already providing results in under a week! She also consulted with Julie, the owner, who made the same recommendations. All together, they spent nearly an hour evaluating and chatting with me - it didn't cost me a dime - but it certainly put me at ease to seek future care with them. I am due to return for a follow up and continue treatment and am super happy to go back. I'm already grateful to Suzanne for helping me to feel better about my skin in such a short period of time.

I'm honestly very unhappy with my experience at Devinn Nail Bar today. I asked for almond-shaped French tip nails, but multiple nails are uneven, crooked, and shaped completely differently from one another. Two nails look rounded while the rest are more almond shaped, making the set look inconsistent overall. I also spoke up during the appointment because I was concerned about part of one nail and was told it would be cleaned up, but it never was. For the amount charged, I expected much better attention to detail and customer service. The French tips are uneven, the shaping is sloppy, and the final result looks rushed. What disappointed me most was feeling ignored after politely bringing up my concerns while I was still there. I paid premium prices for nails that do not look professionally done. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this salon based on my experience. 4 days after my nails were done: Updating my review because it has now been less than a week since this set was done, and multiple nails are already bending, cracking, and breaking painfully low into the nail bed. Looking back at the photos from the day they were done, the nails were filed extremely thin with almost no structure or apex for support. On top of that, two nails were shaped noticeably round while the others were almond shaped, so the set wasn't even consistent. The nails were filed down so thin at the stress point that they started flexing and breaking almost immediately. One finger was especially painful during the appointment, and the skin around several nails was irritated afterward. Since then, the nails have continued breaking exactly where they were over-filed. This is not normal wear and tear for a fresh set that isn't even a week old. The design looked nice at first glance, but the quality, shaping, and durability have been extremely disappointing, and the damage to my natural nails has been painful. So ladies if you have hairy toes, please get that removed! Hairy toes are not attractive in any way!!!.. I took off one star because the lady asked me if I was paying cash because the price was $35 but I told her I was using a card. You are asked kindly to wash your hands prior to touching the polish. I appreciate the precautions the staff are taking during the pandemic to cut down on customers exposure and social distancing procedures. The entire shop has plexiglass at the nail stations. I also noticed a special Covid19 certification the nail tech recieved. That's important to know that they also care about exposure, since we are all still learning about this virus. This is just my pedicure shop, its super convenient for me, they may become my nail shop when it ready to do my nails again.
