I'm in my early 50's and have been researching plastic surgeons for about 15 years…read more Three years ago I was in an automobile accident. A huge piece of asphalt flew through the window & smashed my face. I had a broken nose, broken teeth, & my jaw was dislocated. The accident happened on our way to Dallas. I was in the passenger seat and the ambulance took me to the closest emergency room. My 4 year old daughter was in the back seat & is still dealing with the trauma of the experience. Thankfully I'm the only one who was physically hurt. The Doctors at the ER were pulling pieces of road off of my face and trying to stitch small cuts on my face. The whole experience happened very fast. I remember stopping them and saying I didn't want anyone touching my face except Dr. Mentz. I chose him several years prior & knew if I ever had any work done I only trusted Dr. Mentz. We called Dr. Mentz when we got home and his waitlist to see new patients was over 3 months. I was able to speak to his nurse and explained the urgency of my situation. Thankfully the nurse cleared a spot for me. Dr. Mentz was kind, caring, & exuded confidence & I immediately felt a calmness come over me. The damage to my face was so severe he asked for pictures of what I looked like prior to the accident. I was able to pull up some Facebook pictures that he studied for a long time. He then called in his nurse, started rambling off medical terms & instructions. He called an amazing cosmetic Dentist named Stryker Davis. Dr. Mentz explained my situation to Dr. Davis. He then immediately sent me to the cosmetic surgeon & dentist. Dr. Mentz explained it was necessary for me to see the Dentist first because of the trauma my face & mouth endured. And if the dental work was extensive it could affect what he needed to do to my face. I went to the Dentist & was treated like a rockstar. They saw me immediately, he did an examination then called Dr. Mentz & the two came up with a care plan for me. I was scheduled for plastic surgery on my face 2 days later. During my 2nd consultation with Dr Mentz he suggested we do some minor shaping on my nose. Honestly all I wanted was to be able to breathe again & feel normal. It took about 3 months for all of my swelling & pain to settle down. To this day I am so thankful I had it mentally together enough to stop the ER Doctors from working on my face. And of course I also wish I had taken Mentz's suggestion to sculpt my nose. It's on my list now & I plan on making a beeline to his office the moment I have everything in order (financially & time off work). Dr. Mentz is the best plastic surgeon in America! Do your research & you will see all of his before & after pictures. They're real people and his education is top notch! I highly recommend Dr. Mentz & have sent several friends to him. They were all very pleased with his work. I could argue that he probably saved my life! The procedure he did on my nose was one that he created. Weeks later friends & family could not believe the improvement of my face. Every day it got better. My whole family & I always pray for Dr. Mentz & his family and will continue to do so. This man/genius gave me so much that words could never express how grateful I am to him. If his waitlist is still months long go ahead & get on the list. You won't regret it! Also, once you're an established patient you get priority placement so the waitlist goes down to maybe a week or so.

I'm already a patient of Dr. Hsu's, but now I'm a die hard follower of Nathaly in the MPS Spa…read more Nathaly was my NP during my DIEP flap and was lovely. Then I found out she's also in charge of the MPS spa and I knew I had to see her! This was my 1st time getting Botox/ Dysport and she held the most amazing consult! She answered all of my questions ( sometimes repeatedly) and took over an hour analyzing my face, marking my injection spots and discussing the best options for me specifically. She actually recommended that Dysport would be the better option for me, which was the cheaper of the options and gave me results that far surpassed my expectations! I'm so in love with my new forehead! I was also very impressed that her treatment style was to go conservative and follow up in 2 weeks to assess progress and treat further as needed. If you don't follow them on Instagram, effortless beauty is the MPS aesthetic and Nathaly delivered nothing short of that. I'm so thrilled with my first Dysport service and can't wait to try other services. I won't be going anywhere else! Dr. Hsu has built the true dream team and I know I'm in the absolute best hands! #hsudoll for life!

I was hoping for a warm, welcoming experience that made me feel safe and confident in my choice. Unfortunately, after sharing my information, I didn't feel reassured or encouraged; instead, I felt like I was bothering the person on the phone. This left me uneasy enough that I immediately called back to cancel my consult. When I did, I was told I couldn't receive a refund, and the person I spoke to was curt and sounded annoyed that I called back at all. This review is not a reflection on the doctor, whom I never met. However, first impressions matter--especially in this field--and I did not feel comfortable or cared for from the very first interaction. As a result, I have no interest in moving forward with this practice.

I never felt uncomfortable at this location. However, now that my mental health has been declining due to this, I feel the need to speak up. I went to this establishment for a "Neck-Tite" procedure in January 2023. The procedure was supposed to be chin liposuction with a series is a skin tightening treatments. The first photo is before any procedures. After my initial treatment, neither I nor Dr. Roth were happy with the results. He offered to do the procedure a second time. The second and third photo is what I look like today more than a year after the procedures and after $8000 were spent . I came in for my chin, but in the end, all of my buccal fat was removed, which is something I have never wanted. So much so that for the first time of my life, I have heavy jowls and I'm in my 30s. I hate looking in the mirror and wish I had never done anything. All I wanted was to get rid of my double chin and now I'm left with so much loose skin and no baby fat on my face that I look 20 years older than I am. I feel botched. I regret coming here everyday.

I followed the esthetician's instructions carefully keeping the mask on for seven hours, staying out of the sun, and following all post-care guidelines. I began peeling on the third day, but the peeling was very minimal. In fact, I've had superficial peels in the past that produced stronger results. I was advised that if I had chemical peels before, I might not peel at all or only peel lightly. For context, my last chemical peel was in February of this year, and since then I've avoided active ingredients, using only a gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Once the minimal peeling subsided (mainly on my chin, slightly on my cheeks, and none on my forehead), I noticed no glow, and my hyperpigmentation remained. In fact, my forehead appeared darker. The peel literally did nothing for my skin except worsen some areas. This peel was NOT worth my money, let alone $1,600!! I'm sure the clinic would argue that I need to use the take-home kit for at least a month to see results. If that's the case, it would be far more cost-effective to see a dermatologist for a prescription skin-brightening cream or simply visit Sephora. I would like to add that the esthetician, Erica, was wonderful. This review is not a reflection of her work but rather of the product itself and the price charged for something that produced no results/making skin condition worse. I would also like to add that I broke out and was excessively red, even red a week after, so I had to stop using the take-home products. I do not recommend!

I did 5 total consults but I started with Dr. Cain Linville, near the beginning of the Stay at home order, so my consult was virtual. *embarrassing* He came highly recommended by 2 friends. Then I had a chat with a girlfriend who had a full makeover through another office, she said in retrospect her only regret was not getting other consults. I went and had 4 additional consults, some virtual and some in office but all FREE. From day one, when Kat was in on my virtual visit, she has been in constant contact with me. She was aware I was scoping out the competition and was not in the slightest resentful. Even when I was taking her own time with my additional questions after the fact. I made a last minute request from wanting to do this procedure in December to STAT. Kat made miracles happen as everyone was telling me they were booked until the end of June.
