I called to book a consultation, and while I understand that for the staff this may be a routine call, for patients like me it's often a big and deeply personal decision--sometimes involving significant expenses and permanent changes to one's face or body. I was hoping for a warm, welcoming experience that made me feel safe and confident in my choice. Unfortunately, after sharing my information, I didn't feel reassured or encouraged; instead, I felt like I was bothering the person on the phone. This left me uneasy enough that I immediately called back to cancel my consult. When I did, I was told I couldn't receive a refund, and the person I spoke to was curt and sounded annoyed that I called back at all. This review is not a reflection on the doctor, whom I never met. However, first impressions matter--especially in this field--and I did not feel comfortable or cared for from the very first interaction. I've debated for a year on whether or not to make this review. The reason being I was conflicted, because the doctor and the staff at this location was incredibly nice to me. I never felt uncomfortable at this location. However, now that my mental health has been declining due to this, I feel the need to speak up. I went to this establishment for a "Neck-Tite" procedure in January 2023. The procedure was supposed to be chin liposuction with a series is a skin tightening treatments. The first photo is before any procedures. After my initial treatment, neither I nor Dr. Roth were happy with the results. He offered to do the procedure a second time. The second and third photo is what I look like today more than a year after the procedures and after $8000 were spent . I came in for my chin, but in the end, all of my buccal fat was removed, which is something I have never wanted. So much so that for the first time of my life, I have heavy jowls and I'm in my 30s. I hate looking in the mirror and wish I had never done anything. All I wanted was to get rid of my double chin and now I'm left with so much loose skin and no baby fat on my face that I look 20 years older than I am. I feel botched. I love seeing Dr Roth. Always smiles and a great personality.I was in yesterday since before Covid to finally get my "work" scheduled. This will be my second procedure and I'm looking forward to it! I saw my before photo from before my lipo and facetight and I couldn't look. Ugh. My face was that fat?? Dr Roth did an amazing job. I'm going all in and getting a lower neck/face lift and brow lift (all in office!) as gravity is starting to show, and a photo facial to remove the signs of good times in the sun. I also got Dysport injections from Laura and she did a great job! I'm a big baby and she made me comfortable talking to me the whole time. She also told me to be sure and let her know if I feel something looks off once the Dysport is in full effect after a couple weeks so she can do touch ups if needed. I've not been told that before but this is only my 3ed time ever getting injections. It's nice to know she wants to get it right if I see something I think needs tweeting. It was my first time seeing the new esthetician space and it's beautiful. I'll be getting the VIP package after my procedures to keep my face in the best shape possible, so I look forward to my visits. I can't wait to see how I look after a year! My initial impression was good. Great staff and Dr.Roth seemed personable, caring and professional but my results were VERY disappointing! Wish I would have gone with less invasive options. I had a Mini facelift. There was nothing mini about it and it didn't correct anything I went in for, marionette lines, nasolabial folds or the chicken neck. He suggested lower lid blepharoplasty (which I didn't really need), and fat injections in my checks which didn't take and both left me with permanent eye damage. I had to go to an eye specialist to get corrected so I spent even more money with minimal improvement. He attempted some things to correct the problem but nothing worked and he didn't really care. So a LOT of my hard earned money down the drain, a lot of pain, stress and permanent damage to my face. Depressed and disappointed! read more

This review is regarding the non-surgical services at Dr. Roth's practice, but I've also heard amazing things about his surgeries so maybe one day...! First, the office is just beautiful and makes you want to be there. They have some fun candles and other products that I've gotten before as gifts. They carry Jentry Kelly cosmetics, which are really good, especially if you take the makeup class to learn how to use them. I've had my makeup done there before and was quite happy with it. You can also buy Skinceuticals and some other skincare product lines. I mainly visit the practice for injections and see Bri, who is wonderful. In the beginning, Dr. Roth would do injections himself, but then got too busy so Bri is the dedicated RN. It's a good arrangement because you can get in pretty quickly and easily, plus I never feel like she is in a rush. They often run specials, so that's a nice touch too. They're usually posted on Facebook or you can call and ask. I'm planning a visit to see Katy, the aesthetician, to try the skin pen laser treatment, so more to come on how that goes. I went to West Ave Plastic Surgery for a botox treatment because I had been given a gift certificate to see Charlene Phillips, West Ave Plastic Surgery RN, for one area of botox complimentary. I was very excited to go because I've admired their offices when I went to visit Azur West for hair appointments. However, my experience was less than exciting. First off, I walked in and was not greeted for a long time. The reception was very busy and seemed bothered I was even there. Finally, Charlene came to get me for my treatment. She was very nice, but the entire treatment was incredibly rushed. I have had botox once before, but I still would've loved to be prepared for it and talked through it. Instead, Charlene gave each of my crows feet a few injections and I was rushed back out the door. Maybe it was because I had a gift certificate, but I was honestly considering giving future business to West Ave Plastic Surgery before I felt like an inconvenience and was rushed in and out with little thought. First of all I can't begin to explain to you how friendly and kind of stuff is. Dr. Roth did my labia plasty it back in September and was beyond professional and really comforting with the situation he made everything look absolutely perfect and I had no pain throughout the experience. So, the last place I ever thought I would post a review would be cosmetic surgery. I'm 52, successful professional, eat right, exercise regularly my entire adult life, but could never seem to get rid of a couple problem areas, mainly love handles. I am EXTREMELY happy with my results. I visited Dr. Roth in November of last year for a consultation for breast augmentation/breast lift. After getting multiple consultations before seeing Dr. Roth, I was convinced that I would need a breast lift along with implants. Dr. Roth was confident that he could give me the results that I wanted without needing the breast lift and unwanted scars. He took the time to carefully measure and recommend which implants he thought would give the best results. I have an extremely small chest wall & while most plastic surgeons were hesitant to give me results that I was looking for, he didn't even blink and guaranteed the results I was looking for. Dr. Roth & Amber's bedside manner is unparalleled and they made me feel at ease from the first moment I met them. The office at West Ave is very welcoming and beautiful and I knew that I was going to be in good hands. After scheduling my surgery, I visited the office a few times to try on implants and the office had no issues with me wanting to go in multiple times to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with my choice. I even ended up changing the size of my implants the day before (indecisive should be my middle name) & they took it in stride without even hesitating. Both Dr. Roth & Amber were extremely warm and comforting the morning of my surgery and I was in/out of the operating room & back home in bed within 3 hours. Talk about efficient! My recovery was seamless, Dr. Roth personally called/texted me multiple times throughout my recovery to check in on me and see how I was doing along with members of his team who were nothing more than incredible. I was up and moving within 24 hours and even driving three days post-op. My results are absolutely incredible and natural looking. Run away! Breast surgery nightmare! After 5 years of meeting with over 6 breast surgeons who specialize in "breast surgery revisions", I chose Roth. He came across as honest and trustworthy and the reason I chose him. However, my surgery was a disaster; Roth was not qualified to perform my breast surgery (breast revision), and is not as honest and trustworthy as he initially appeared to be. I chose to have breast surgery because my left breast was hardening and the cleavage area was rippling. The overall appearance of my breasts was still natural and round [and a bit lob sided (right breast)]. prep for surgery: 1. My surgery was delayed for hours 2. The support staff nurse at the hospital was not qualified to fill out the basic paperwork 3. The computer system was down and all paperwork had to be filled out manually 4. The Anesthesiologist was not very happy that the computer system was down; this made me nervous too 5. Overall I did not get a good feeling (in hind sight, I should have walked away). Immediately after the surgery: 6. After Day 2 of my surgery, I saw my breasts, I was shocked, disappointed and in tears; top part of my breasts were unusually firm and the implants were sitting very high, and the lower part of my breasts were unusually soft, droopy and hollow. I told Roth that my breasts look horrible and I was very concerned: he told me that this was temporary and my breasts would improve over time and I would love them; 3 months to be exact. After 3 months: 8. My breasts are still unusually firm on the top; very unnatural. 9. The implants are still sitting high on the top part of my breasts. 10. My breasts are soft and saggy and hollow (more on the right breast than the left) on the bottom. 11. My breasts are uneven; one is sitting higher than the other, one is rectangular and the other is square, the right breast is saggier, lob sided, and hollow. 12. My breasts look square and rectangular, and do not have the natural round look. 13. When I bend forward, my breasts hang unusually and look triangular 14. I have more scars from this surgery in addition to the areas where Roth made the incision. Perhaps he dropped something? 15. I also have additional scars from the bra provided after the surgery; it dug into my skin causing it to bleed and scab over (leaving a scar). 16. My right breast is firmer on the top than my left breast; implant is sitting higher on the breast than the left, and is soft and saggy on the bottom of the breast. 17. The right breast looks rectangular and is lob sided on the lower left of the breast. 18. The side of the right breast looks like a shoe horn (it goes in at the middle of the breast). 19. The lower left side of the left breast is lob-sided . 20. The left breast did improve in appearance after 12 weeks of surgery, but it is still lob sided on the left side of the breast, looks square and uneven, and does not have the round natural look. 21. I still cannot wear my normal tops, especially tight fitting tops as one can see the unevenness, rectangular and the lob side shape of my breasts. 22. I am too embarrassed to look at my breasts in the mirror. 23. I have not showed my breasts to my husband as of yet. Roth was certain that my breasts would change (in 12 weeks) and I would love them. He recommended massaging them downward and then in all 4 directions; to move the implant downward and fill the saggy sacks below and to make them even and proportionate. Later he told me to wear breast bandages (which he said that he would provide and never did). In any event, this did not help cure the problem. I was better off before the surgery. In a recent email from Roth, he told me that he was acquiring a brand new breast ultrasound machine that would help and cure the issues mentioned above. I am not convinced. I do not believe that he is knowledgeable in this type of breast surgery procedures. I also asked Roth for a refund and he refused. Unfortunately, I will need another surgery; I am deeply disappointed. If anyone knows of a qualified breast surgeon (that specialized in breast revision surgery), please send me a message. My son had a pellet lodged in the palm of his hand and needed a hand specialist to remove it. After spending most of the previous night at TCH ER, they wanted us to wait another day before they could see us. That wasn't an option... I've waited over a year to write this review because I sincerely wanted to give my skin a fair chance to heal. I visited Roth's office for Dysport with Bri several times, which went fine. Katy suggested an IPL to help lighten my freckles & melasma, which I had gotten as a side effect of birth control a couple years before. She not only burned my skin with the IPL (I have permanent scars on my cheek), but made the melasma significantly worse. They knew before treatment that the hyperpigmentation was from melasma. I've consulted with several dermatologists since then, all of whom confirm photo-facials are contraindicated for melasma because there is a high risk of making it worse. I trusted this office, but obviously the staff was not fully competent. They refused to refund my money. I know this office generally has a good reputation, so I trusted them. I just encourage others to thoroughly research the side effects of ANY procedure you're considering, even minor ones. Do your homework and shop around. Now I'm stuck with dark blothes on my face and red marks from the burns. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. read more
