I had her remove the fat from under my chin on my neck, but she didn't do it right. They do very little for pain and that was one of the most painful experiences I've ever gone through. The medication they gave me, did nothing for pain. They could tell by the expression on my face, that I was in extreme but did not address the problem. They just kept working as I gripped the chair **hard**. In the end, I was left with a lopsided neck. We asked her about it, and she tried to do it again, but it didn't work. It remains lopsided. I also noticed a large red mark left on the front of my neck. Dr. Rodman said they had no idea what it was which made me question how much they really knew about doing this type of procedure. However, what never went away were all the bumps left near the bottom of my ears. I asked her if those would go away, she claimed they would. Nope, they sure don't! It's now harder to get my earrings in my pierced ears. After my husband had work done, she gave him a special skin cream to help smooth the skin. She never offered me the same and we're not sure why. My husband let me have the rest of his cream. They also said the loss of feeling could be a "possible side effect". It's not 'possible", it's very likely so prepared for that to happen. Like others mention, I too, noticed the staff wasn't that friendly. Especially after they sent me a email asking to rate them. At the point, I hadn't had the work done so I gave them a favorable rating. Once they got the rating they wanted, they were merely as polite as much as they felt they had to be, but not really friendly. Next time I get a doctor to rate, I'll wait until everything has been done, then respond. I wanted her to do other work besides my neck area but after what happened to my neck, I decided her office wasn't the place to do more work. I feel like those folks on that show "Botched" and wish there were doctors like them to fix what I was left with.

I called Dr. Fustok and he examined photos of my sutures and recommended I come and see him. The stitches were way to thick and not enough were placed. He opened his practice on a Sunday to see me. Ultimately he removed my sutures placed at the ER and replaced them with more and finer stitches. He squeezed me in a few days later to check in it's healing, and came in on his day off again to remove my sutures. His staff was awesome and he was great. I wasn't referred to him by my regular dentist…read morebecause my regular dentist wanted to do the extraction but I wasn't comfortable with that so I started looking for an oral surgeon specifically. I was diagnosed with a cracked tooth which caused an infection and extraction of the tooth was going to be the best option. During my consult the office did a really cool scan/xray thing and actually ended up being diagnosed without anyone ever even looking in my mouth which I thought was super cool. The office is also nice and clean which got huge bonus points from me since I can be really sensitive to smells. The extraction took like 20 minutes total and I'm not going to say it was a walk in the park because- someone ripped my tooth out of my face but it actually was painless. Even the shots were so magically well done. One of the nurses/assistants (IDK what they are) told me at the start that she was going to put numbing agent where he would do the shots and just never came back so he did the shots without them and I literally couldn't feel them. I had just had a filling the week before and it felt like the dentist was shooting acid in my face so for Dr. Iero to be able to give me a shot IN THE ROOF OF MY MOUTH without any real discomfort was pretty impressive to me. He also walked me through what he was doing and explained what might happen. When my cap broke off I didn't panic because the doc had given me a heads up. And at the end they gave me a care package of things that I didn't even think to need. If I can give any advice to anyone seeing Dr. Iero though it would be- absolutely do not be late. On the day of the procedure Houston got some heavy rain and drivers were freaking out as they do so while I allowed myself 20 minutes of travel time for the 10 minute drive, I ended up being late and the doc was SUPER obvious about his annoyance. He wasn't angry as much as like disappointed parent mode and he mentioned it not once but twice. I also hate people who are late and I hate being late so I totally understood the annoyance but just allow yourself the extra time. I would still recommend him 10 out of 10 times because of how well he did. If you're that skilled you can be particular- those are the rules lol all in all this was a very positive experience given that i lost a tooth. I'll see him again in a few months for the rest of the process and if (god forbid) I have to get another extraction I will 100% come back to Bellaire facial, oral, and dental implant surgery.
