The right eye is significantly worse, the incision sits much higher, extends too far laterally, and created an additional fold in the upper-eyelid hood. They delayed my medical-records request, refused to confirm what would be included before requiring payment, and eventually told me they would not continue discussing my case unless I removed my negative reviews. From the moment I walked back through those doors, I felt at ease--especially seeing Jeanette, the office manager, still by Dr. Bancroft's side after all these years. That kind of team consistency says everything. They truly have a "teamwork makes the dream work" vibe, and it shows in every detail of their care. Dr. Bancroft isn't just a skilled surgeon--he's someone who takes the time to get to know you as a person. He's confident without being arrogant, which immediately gave me peace of mind. I never felt rushed during appointments, and I knew I was in excellent hands. What really sets Dr. Bancroft apart are the extra steps he takes during recovery. He provided an oxygen converter for two weeks post-op, as well as medical-grade ointments and garments to support healing. That level of thoughtfulness isn't standard everywhere, but it absolutely made a difference in my comfort and outcome. As for results--WOW. I loved my outcome the first time around, and somehow, this time is even better. My breast augmentation and tummy tuck incisions are clean and precise. The liposuction? He didn't just target generic zones--he lipo'd exactly where it was needed for optimal contouring. Nothing felt overdone or cookie-cutter. He saw the full picture of what I needed to feel phenomenal again--and he executed a masterpiece. The entire staff, including his amazing nurses, are absolute sweethearts. I just love Dr. Bancroft and the team. If you're considering plastic surgery and want a doctor who cares, listens, and delivers stellar results, this is your sign. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

The before and after pictures here are jaw dropping .... and I FINALLY have the body I always thought I should have had my entire life. My posture is better, my clothes actually fit without alterations, my confidence is growing by the day, and I've never felt more "complete" in my skin. I had my augmentation in Nov. 2024, and my gummy bear implants have settled beautifully under the muscle, feel very close to natural, are appropriately sized and placed for my body and look great! I have very minimal and extremely discreet scarring due to his expert hands - which was a concern for me having experienced keloid scars in my teen years from an ear piercing. Absolutely not a single complication or issue arose. In fact, my healing process was much faster and comfortable than I initially anticipated. The facility is warm, comfortable and professional and I have felt taken care at a deeply personal level at every step. Every step of my process has been flawless - Jeannette as the patient coordinator guided me through all my pre- and post-scheduling, in-take, prescriptions and more. She was patient, informative and nice as the day is long. When speaking with Dr. Bancroft, he spent as much time with me as I needed at each visit (more than any other physician I've encountered), he was caring, non-judgmental, validated my concerns and expectations, applied no pressure for procedures I didn't need and left me feeling like a million bucks. I frequently refer friends and colleagues looking for a personalized, professional and positive experience and everyone has repeated my cheers for this team. I would not hesitate to work with them for anything in the future, and HIGHLY recommend them! What youll find with his practice is being treated like a beverly hills movie star on a budget that is extremely competitive for this area. Let me just preface this review to say that I did not actually visit the business, so I cannot…read morespeak to Dr. Lou's services. I bought a Groupon for injections. I googled the business and while there were no Yelp reviews, there were a few reviews on others sites and I felt confident enough to buy the Groupon. I called three times to make an appointment. All three times I had to leave a voicemail during business hours, which isn't unheard of, but I only received a call back on my third call. After a date was thrown out as the first available appointment, I said that date wouldn't work and suggested another. Turns out, they only do appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays. I'm not sure who to fault more here, Groupon or Dr. Lou's office for not making that known ahead of time. So the lack of options for appointments was a big inconvenience, but I could still work with that. So then she tells me I'd have to book two separate appointments. I'd have to first come in for a consulation and then come back for the appointment and when I questioned the logic she told me that was the law. I let her know I'm familiar with new patient consulations, but for injections they are generally done, in my experience, in the same appointment. At that point she muttered something about if I wanted to I could schedule to appointments back to back. I'm thinking to myself, 'Who in their right mind would do anything other than this option?' Anyway, so we agree on back to back appointments on a Tuesday about 6 weeks out. She then asks for my credit card number and says if there are any changes or cancellations to the appointment, they will charge me $50. I asked if she meant late cancellations and she said no, ANY changes to the appointment. Just to clarify, I said, 'So you mean if I book the appointment right now for a date 6 weeks out and tomorrow I call back to change the time on it, you will charge me $50?' She said yes and said that they've had too many people not show up for appointments so they have no choice but to do this. lol wth?! that is the craziest thing I have heard in a while. I get late cancellation charges, but this is absurd. At that point I realized how many hoops I was having to jump through just in order to make an appointment, and I let her know that I wasn't comfortable proceeding. She was just like 'Ok bye' LOL...so I called Groupon and got a refund. The appointment process was enough to run me off for good!

I'm in my early 50's and have been researching plastic surgeons for about 15 years…read more Three years ago I was in an automobile accident. A huge piece of asphalt flew through the window & smashed my face. I had a broken nose, broken teeth, & my jaw was dislocated. The accident happened on our way to Dallas. I was in the passenger seat and the ambulance took me to the closest emergency room. My 4 year old daughter was in the back seat & is still dealing with the trauma of the experience. Thankfully I'm the only one who was physically hurt. The Doctors at the ER were pulling pieces of road off of my face and trying to stitch small cuts on my face. The whole experience happened very fast. I remember stopping them and saying I didn't want anyone touching my face except Dr. Mentz. I chose him several years prior & knew if I ever had any work done I only trusted Dr. Mentz. We called Dr. Mentz when we got home and his waitlist to see new patients was over 3 months. I was able to speak to his nurse and explained the urgency of my situation. Thankfully the nurse cleared a spot for me. Dr. Mentz was kind, caring, & exuded confidence & I immediately felt a calmness come over me. The damage to my face was so severe he asked for pictures of what I looked like prior to the accident. I was able to pull up some Facebook pictures that he studied for a long time. He then called in his nurse, started rambling off medical terms & instructions. He called an amazing cosmetic Dentist named Stryker Davis. Dr. Mentz explained my situation to Dr. Davis. He then immediately sent me to the cosmetic surgeon & dentist. Dr. Mentz explained it was necessary for me to see the Dentist first because of the trauma my face & mouth endured. And if the dental work was extensive it could affect what he needed to do to my face. I went to the Dentist & was treated like a rockstar. They saw me immediately, he did an examination then called Dr. Mentz & the two came up with a care plan for me. I was scheduled for plastic surgery on my face 2 days later. During my 2nd consultation with Dr Mentz he suggested we do some minor shaping on my nose. Honestly all I wanted was to be able to breathe again & feel normal. It took about 3 months for all of my swelling & pain to settle down. To this day I am so thankful I had it mentally together enough to stop the ER Doctors from working on my face. And of course I also wish I had taken Mentz's suggestion to sculpt my nose. It's on my list now & I plan on making a beeline to his office the moment I have everything in order (financially & time off work). Dr. Mentz is the best plastic surgeon in America! Do your research & you will see all of his before & after pictures. They're real people and his education is top notch! I highly recommend Dr. Mentz & have sent several friends to him. They were all very pleased with his work. I could argue that he probably saved my life! The procedure he did on my nose was one that he created. Weeks later friends & family could not believe the improvement of my face. Every day it got better. My whole family & I always pray for Dr. Mentz & his family and will continue to do so. This man/genius gave me so much that words could never express how grateful I am to him. If his waitlist is still months long go ahead & get on the list. You won't regret it! Also, once you're an established patient you get priority placement so the waitlist goes down to maybe a week or so.
