This is 3 years post op. I look like I have capsular contracture, but I don't. I've consulted with sooo many surgeons from DC /Baltimore to Miami to Beverly Hills...each one is stunned by my breasts and can't believe this man is board certified. Its going to cost me $20k to get this fixed. I wish I had never met this man, but what I learned is surgeons are not like primary care doctors. They're more like sleazy car salesmen. I went to Dr H for a lower face and neck lift. The experience was very good. The nurses were so very nice and made the surgery very pleasant. The result was perfection in my eyes. My chin and neck are smooth as silk again and any scarring is very well hidden. The recovery is rough for the first week , then pretty easy. I had a breast reduction back in march of 2022, I've given my breast time to settle and i am unhappy with the results. After paying 12,000 out of pocket it's very disheartening that these are my results. Dr. Horndeski isn't transparent as to why he is the only surgeon who does the bellsoma method because it doesn't settle well. This has really been a horrible experience for me and i urge women to look elsewhere. The anchor scar is needed for the best results and Dr. horndeski is misleading women with his method and quite frankly he really isn't a nice man. I had a breast reduction with this surgeon in June of 2021. I waited two years to write this to see how my breasts would really settle. I hate to say it but I am not happy with the results at all. I really tried to give it thought and time before writing this, but for the amount of money I paid, it is unthinkable how bad the results are. One breast is terribly misshapen and the other breast is extremely droopy. They are completely different heights sitting on my chest. The scars are not hidden in the crease of the breast at all. They are much higher up and visible. One of my breasts still has not regained feeling. It pains me to say I wish I never did the surgery and it was something I had researched/planned for for ten years. I am planning on seeing another doctor in Austin soon to get corrective surgery. And no, Dr. Horndeski, I would not go back to you to get corrections done considering how badly my breasts turned out after the first surgery. This was really a huge waste of money. Let me start out by saying it was difficult for me to click on the one star to start this review. If I could have clicked NEGATIVE 100 STARS, that's what I would have done! I had the "Bellesoma" breast lift surgery with Dr. Horndeski in 2015. It's 2023, and I just had my THIRD corrective surgery. I have spent over $50K and no amount of money could fix the botched, unbelievably, horrendous breast lift that he did. Like others mentioned, his surgery left my breasts flat, triangular shaped with dog ears on each corner and the nipples were so high that no matter what bra I wore, they would show over the top of my bra. My breasts looked deformed as if a child had performed the surgery. If someone told me he was drunk when he did the surgery, I would have believed it. I flew across the country to go to Dr. Horndeski because I fell for his lies about his procedure giving better results without the vertical incision. When Dr. Horndeski came to my hotel room to remove the drains and bandages, he said "well, I will probably need to do a revision". Who wants to hear that right after their surgery?! Well a few months later, I fly back to Sugar Land and he gives me about 30 shots directly into my breasts. I was jumping and crying the entire time. He and Elisa draped my face and proceed to cut and I could still feel it! Elisa tells me not to move and arrogantly says that I shouldn't be feeling anything. Then Dr. Horndeski casually says "sometimes the shots don't numb everything". It was the most horrific experience of my life! I thought that it would be worth it to have my breasts fixed...NOPE! I fly back home and they looked just as horrible as they initially did! When I called Elisa to tell her that I still had the dogeared misshaped breasts, she giggled and said "well that's all we can do". Mentally, I was numb after this. For a year or so, I did nothing. I tried to ignore the deformed breasts that Dr. Horndeski had given me. I was dealing with a lot of regret. Eventually, I started to look into revision surgeries. I went to 3 renowned plastic surgeons who all agreed that he had removed too much skin and that his "Bellesoma" lift can't give the rounded shape needed. I was told that they couldn't lower the nipple that was abnormally high, but if I got an implant it could help make the shape better. The implants made them more bearable, but I still couldn't wear regular bras. After about 7 years, my breasts had fallen enough where I thought a surgeon might be able to remove the implants and repair the shape. I am 6 months post op from my explant and revision that cost me over $20K. I am hopeful that everything will heal well. It has been a LONG journey. Dr. Horndeski and Elisa are arrogant and unqualified to be performing breast surgeries. When I see their high ratings on websites, I now believe that the reviews are fake! There is no way this surgeon is performing the same procedure and does excellent work on some and then leaves other women mutilated and deformed. My prayer is that Dr. Horndeski will be stopped from causing so much physical and mental harm to innocent and trusting women. I hope this review stops someone from making the mistake that I and other women have made in trusting Dr. Horndeski. read more

Three years ago I had a breast lift by this surgeon who I researched so thoroughly (I thought). I did not want the vertical scar nor was thinking I ever wanted implants that is the reason I considered this office. Biggest regret I have, not only it set me back 12K (double the national average) but my breasts which were my asset are now flat pancakes that droop sideways in a triangular shape. He was abrupt, rough and very dismissive in this manners, I thought it's ok that's the engineer in him, what matters is the result... Well I was not happy with the result from the beginning and no amount of revision fixed anything. Revision took place in his office with a simple local anesthetic, the pain was unbearable the result useless if not worse. I do not recommend Dr. Horndeski at all. I give him a rating of D-. I am 11 weeks post op from the Bellesoma breast lift performed by Dr. Horndeski. I have to say I could not be happier with the results. My breasts look absolutely amazing. Perfect shape and location, no vertical scar, no implant needed and they are still round and full of volume. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL work done by Dr. Horndeski. I got multiple quotes for breast lifts in L.A. (does it matter that it's the plastic capital of the world? Wouldn't you think there'd be more competition and thus lower prices?) but NO...you can't get a breast lift for $6k...not with a board certified and reputable doctor. I was quoted anywhere from $14k to $26k. I'm sure you can find a cheaper doctor on #surgeons4less but do you really want to end up like Kanye's mom on the operating table? These are your breasts! It's not the time to CHEAP OUT. As for your complaint Dr. H is "abrupt, rough & dismissive," my take on his style was "concise, efficient, and cuts to the chase." While researching the Breast lift procedure thoroughly, I kept coming back to Dr. Horndeski and his method. The fact that it was engineered to last a lifetime was the driving force in me making my first appointment. His staff was so welcoming and kind upon my arrival even though I was nervous. Upon meeting Dr. Horndeski he took plenty of time to explain my options in depth and made me feel extremely comfortable with the choice I was making. When I arrived for surgery day he and his assistant went into great detail, marking, measuring, photographing and explaining every detail that would take place. I was impressed with the technology they used to show me what would happen. They, and the hospital staff were wonderful. My first post-op visit went perfectly. The recovery wasn't a walk in the park, but because they were so comprehensive in explaining that I was expectant and therefore able to deal with it. I was so appreciative that his assistant and the Doctor both checked on me throughout my days post surgery in the hotel. Definitely recommend! I was a 34 DD and had a lot of sagging due to weight gain and loss. I saw 3 plastic surgeons with 2 wanting to do the anchor lift with implants and the other wanting to just put implants. I IDID NOT want implants but they said that was the only way to lift the breast and get the fullness I was looking for. I researched online and came across Bellesoma and Dr. Horndeski and was very excited since there are no vertical scars and the biggest plus, for me, was NO implants!!! I am 6 months post op and I'm LOVING my new breasts. The first week was a little tough with the pain and soreness but I was prepared for that. The change from week to week is exciting. The swelling continues to diminish and they are taking shape. Tip: I recommend you wear the bra post op like they tell you. I underwent the Bellesoma Breast Lift procedure with Dr. Horndeski a little over a year ago and I am soooo glad I did! I watched his technique online for quite some time and completely researched all other techniques and doctors. I even corresponded thru social media and emails with several of his patients. When my timing was right I made the leap...and I'm SO glad I did! His staff were all amazing and caring, (they give you their private cell phone numbers to use ANY time and always resounded immediately...who does that??) Dr. Horndeski is truly awesome. He talks pretty quick but you can see his love and passion for this highly technical procedure. I'll admit I was pretty worried about undergoing such an advanced procedure but after talking to him and his staff I knew this was the one for me! I suggest you follow the post op instructions that the staff gives to you prior to surgery and wear your bra!!! It's all detailed out and put together for you in a nice package! I loved it and used it like a bible!!! Lol!! I healed very nicely and because I'm a perfectionist I had one little revision done in his office around month 7 all covered in the original fee and my breasts are round, perky, and scars are placed so I barely see them anymore. Dr. Gary Horndeski is an experienced surgeon. The main reason I chose this doctor is due to the type of procedure he performs. It was different from others that I'd researched over several years. . I didn't want implants, yet I need my breast to look full on top. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable about the procedure he was to perform on me. I received a slight reduction & breast lift. I'm 4 months in, and everything looks really good. I'm pleased with the work he did for me, his competence, and the competence, compassion and knowledge of his staff as well. The staff in the hospital, and mail yogis personal office. Shiloh was very helpful during my recovery period. Of course the Dr was busy, however; his staff member Shiloh was always on point. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS DOCTOR!!! :)))) I had a stretched ear piercing from wearing heavy earrings for many years. So I decided to get it repaired after repeatedly losing earrings on that ear. I went to Dr. Horndeski and I must say that my experience was totally different than the one posted on this site. I was quite shocked to hear such negative things that I felt compelled to share my experience. Dr. Horndeski has a wonderful bedside manner. He listened to all my concerns and took his time to answer every question I had before, during, and after my procedure. I never felt rushed nor ignored. Despite my fear of needles and anything to do with surgeries, he made me feel comfortable and at ease. While the ear piercing repair procedure was a simple one in nature, I was completely satisfied with the outcome. I had a very positive experience because it was painless and fast but also because I felt that I received the utmost professionalism from Dr. Horndeski and his staff. While I empathize with patients that get treated poorly, I question the previous post not only because of how different the experience was from mine but also because how exaggerated it comes across and the unnecessary "personal attacks" made. And as for his "stone aged" technology, just google him on Fox's News (Channel 26 - Houston local TV channel), you will find a news report showcasing his innovative technology in plastic surgery - "Engineering the Ideal Breast". There are plenty of mixed reviews of Dr. Gary Horndeski and Elisa Gonzalez, So I'm sharing my own experience and opinion of what my past experience with dr. Horndeski was like. My opinion of him is by far negative and comes across to be very unprofessional. One of the duties of being a doctor is providing as much information to your patient and answer any sort of questions they might have. In my case not only did he not provide enough information but he did not let me know or be aware of the hospital procedures...such as not knowing that my tampon would be removed and a catheter would be mandatory for my surgery that shortly after left me with urinary and vaginal infection that still effects me 11 months later. I'm on monthly treatments to help with the pain I was left with. The cheap equipment and materials he uses on surgeries cause many infections and make the scars harder to heal. I will be uploading photos and videos of my infections and some differences in my final look. If I knew that Dr. Horndeski had disciplinary actions with the Texas Medical Board, loss if hospitable privileges, and numerous malpractice claims I would have never let him ruin my life. I was a 32DD who after two pregnancies REALLY wanted a breast lift. It's not a life threatening kind of thing, but it was something that I really wanted for myself. I started researching the procedure 3 years ago. I started talking to local p-doc's in my area and when I learned about getting a breast lift I was EXTREMELY disheartened. Here I thought I could get "my girls" back to the way were, but didn't realize what I was going to have to give up in return. They told me I would not only have an ugly vertical anchor scar, but that I was also going to need implants otherwise they said it wouldn't look right. Implants for a breast lift? I started crying on the way home. I didn't think I was going to have to make such tradeoffs. I gave up for awhile, but then I started researching the internet and calling doctors in other cities (LA and Miami) that I thought would have the "best" p-doc's in the country. To my disappointment, after multiple consultations with different doctors they were bascially telling me the same thing. Then I found this site last year and found Dr. Horndeski. Essentially the Bellesoma Breast Lift was the answer to my prayers. I thought it might be too good to be true. I asked Dr. Horndeski, if this is so great why isn't every p-doc doing this. He did say he was training new doctors in his technique and that reassured me some. However, Jana (who is a sweetheart by the way) put me in touch with previous patients. After talking to them, reading all the reviews on this site, and having my consultation with Dr. Horndeski I was in!!!! Does Dr. Horndeski talk fast and like an engineer, yes. However, I wasn't looking for a friend, I was looking for results. I had my surgery in February and almost 6 months later I have the boobs I dreamed about (and used to have) and you can barely see the scars like I hoped. There is still some pleating around my areolas, but Dr. Horndeski said it should resolve itself over time. I realize that I paid Dr. Horndeski, but I still feel sooo grateful to him. I am DEFINITELY not the type to leave reviews (almost did on Tripadvisor once) but I was so thrilled with the results that I felt I had to share. I wish there was a doctor in my area that could have performed the Ultimate Breast Lift because travelling for surgery is not ideal and I have friends who want the procedure, but can't travel because of family or their job. That said, the Staybridge suites were very nice and like I said - the effort was worth it because I got results!!!! Thank you Dr. Horndeski. read more
