I heard about Sabrina from my hair stylist. She hadn't had her lip filler done yet, but she had her apt booked. I looked Sabrina up on Instagram and booked an appointment with her for lip filler.
1st Apt.: From the minute Sabrina walked in, she seemed annoyed. I didn't want to make it worse so I quickly said exactly what I wanted and then shut up. She injected my lips and after the swelling went down, my lips looked good, but I definitely noticed the left side of my upper lip was less plump than my bottom lip and the right side of my upper lip so I made an apt to have it fixed.
I saw my hair stylist (I don't want to blast her name on here) a short time later and by this time, she had her lips done. We both asked how each other's appointments went. She told me (I'm paraphrasing, but this is the gist): "I felt completely rushed. She didn't even ask me how much lip filler I wanted or what I wanted done. I've had my lips done before but only half a syringe, and it was not like this. Sabrina came in, barely said anything and injected the entire syringe of filler in my lips and I just sat there like, uhhh...okay, I guess I'll take the entire thing then. I did not want an entire syringe of filler injected into my lips and on top of it, my lips are lopsided!"
I told my hair stylist I had a similar experience! I couldn't believe it. I thought it was just me! But even still, I thought maybe Sabrina just had an off-day or something.
2nd Apt. (W/Vanessa):
I booked the Aquagold facial with Vanessa and it was great. Not only did the procedure turn out well, but Vanessa was great. She was so nice and funny and so personable! I honestly wished I had made all my appointments with her because she does great work.
3rd Apt. (W/Sabrina):
I went to get my upper lip fixed and I asked about getting filler in my left cheek for the deep lines when I smile and for a fuller cheek. I've had filler injected there before (by a different injector) and it had always turned out great. She asked if I had ever had it injected this certain way - I don't recall the exact term she used, but it was something like facial conditioning or something. I told her I had not.
She started on my lips and injected both lips all over again even though I just wanted the left side of my upper lip done! I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to upset her. I thought maybe she was just evening them out. She then injected my cheek using that "facial conditioning" technique and as soon as she was done, I immediately noticed all these tiny little raised bumps all over my cheek. Usually, there's obvious swelling, maybe some minor bruising, etc. But this was different. It looked like acne bumps. A few days later, I contacted her and told her it wasn't calming down and it looked like I had acne bumps all over my face! She assured me the swelling would go down and it would be fine. Also, the lip filler was lopsided again. It was still less plump on the left side of my upper lip where I was before! I contacted her again later and asked very gently - so as to not piss her off - if she would dissolve the cheek filler. I was honestly not even upset or anything when I contacted her. All injectors are human and sometimes these things just happen. Not a big deal. I would just have the cheek filler dissolved and schedule an apt for a bit more filler just in the left side of my upper lip, once again, to have it fixed.
4th Apt. (W/Sabrina):
Same uncomfortable feeling of annoyance. But this time, it was worse. I knew she was pissed but I didn't know why. I actually felt bad for asking for it to be fixed! After she got done injecting the dissolver, I started to say I wanted to schedule an appointment to have a little more filler added just to the left side of my upper lip, because again, it was less plump! I couldn't even finish my sentence and she said, "I'm not sure. I'll have to have a discussion with Dr. Jung." I was so confused. I said "okay." She then said, "I'm just not sure we can treat you anymore. I'll see Dr. Jung tonight and speak to him and then I'll get back to you." I felt like I had done something wrong! I got in my car feeling terrible about my appearance, left and cried on my way home. A bit later, I received a text saying she had a discussion with Dr. Jung and they both decided she would not treat me anymore. WHAT. I couldn't believe she not only left me with these horrid bumps, but she then told me she wouldn't treat me anymore?!
One of the first people that ever injected me (I would still be going to her if she hadn't moved away) told me if there was ever anything to be extremely picky about, it's your face. Don't let anyone - no matter who they are or how many Instagram followers they have - make you feel like you're being too picky. It's your face!
I still have these HORRID filler acne bumps, even after she injected dissolver. read more
