I'm already a patient of Dr. Hsu's, but now I'm a die hard follower of Nathaly in the MPS Spa. Nathaly was my NP during my DIEP flap and was lovely. Then I found out she's also in charge of the MPS spa and I knew I had to see her! This was my 1st time getting Botox/ Dysport and she held the most amazing consult! She answered all of my questions ( sometimes repeatedly) and took over an hour analyzing my face, marking my injection spots and discussing the best options for me specifically. She actually recommended that Dysport would be the better option for me, which was the cheaper of the options and gave me results that far surpassed my expectations! I'm so in love with my new forehead! I was also very impressed that her treatment style was to go conservative and follow up in 2 weeks to assess progress and treat further as needed. If you don't follow them on Instagram, effortless beauty is the MPS aesthetic and Nathaly delivered nothing short of that. I'm so thrilled with my first Dysport service and can't wait to try other services. I won't be going anywhere else! After going through bad reviews, I totally agree with those. The receptionist is so rude. The customer service is horrible. They yell at you as they do not care that you can bring money to them. Update: unless you are wanting to refund me some of the 12k that was kept after cancelling there's really nothing to discuss. Pretty sick to keep such an amount for a Dr that is so far booked out no ? I believe that the surgeons themselves are extremely talented in what they do but as far as ethics and customer care they are lacking . I was set to have surgery here - booked 2 years in advance ( because that was the soonest available appt ) after that initial consultation I never met or saw Dr.Roehl again . I went in for my pre op - 2 years later , and left just super unsure if the procedure was still what I wanted ( 30 days out ) I've paid 100% in full ( a large sum ) . I called for reassurance and was told " it'll change your life " . I asked if meeting with the surgeon again was an option to ease some of my concerns and was told she didn't have the availability. I then started to have DAILY panic attacks . I didn't want to lose 10k ( if you cancel 30 days or less from surgery they keep 50% of the surgery fee * NO EXCEPTIONS * bc your 2k non refundable deposit isn't enough - but I also didn't want to go through this huge procedure I was unsure of . I called another 4 x's looking for some sort of reassurance- was told basically to get over it - be excited . This office is super successful, clearly booking so far in advance they aren't lacking clientele. I would expect to be treated as more than just a $$$ from people in this profession. read more

I would not recommend Dr. Hsu if you want a compassionate doctor after a cancer/mastectomy ex. He is a doctor that likes mommy makeovers. i had my third capsular contracture procedure scheduled; his office called, cancelled, said they didn't know when they would reschedule. That was 6 months ago. Never heard back from them. this was after 3 surgeries. He's a joke. If you want to spend half a-million dollars for nothing, just to get another fantastic doctor right here in the same area, go ahead. But I suggest you do your homework first. read more

I got my breast augmentation here and after my surgery they just left me in the dark. Gave me zero information about how I should be massaging my breast so they fall into the right place. They saw me once after the surgery, didn't tell me almost anything just checked that I was alive and that was it. The staff is so friendly and accommodating from the minute you walk in the door. I have been an extremely happy patient of MPS for many years. Dr. Hsu gave me a BBL and breast reduction in 2018 and I (and my hubby!) couldn't have been happier with the results. Dr. Hsu is the MASTER when it comes to sculpting beautiful bodies and I feel truly blessed to have been his patient. My most recent experience was with Siti in the Spa. I needed some refreshing that couldn't be achieved by simply buying new makeup. She listened to my concerns and discussed the different products that would be best for my desired results. I consulted with Dr. Hsu last summer about a preventative mastectomy. My husband and I waited two hours past the appointment time (in a boutique looking waiting room with a huge and very graphic "before" and "after" photos that were just in your face), with no explanation or apology. When we finally saw the doctor he told me the options he thought were best for me. I didn't understand all the medical terms at first and his reply was, "That's ok, when you get home your husband can explain it to you." I was already so scared, upset, and frankly overwhelmed with my medical diagnosis that I didn't realize until later that his words were completely disrespectful. He obviously didn't see the college ring I was wearing and to insult my intelligence like that was so offensive. My husband was very upset and he was trying his best to be supportive during a very difficult situation. This doctor may be a good surgeon but showed no consideration for my feelings, respect for my person, and seems to disregard the dignity of a human being. His patients should be treated better and not displayed like model head shots in the waiting room. It is now six months later and I did find a much more compassionate, respectful surgeon. NOT TO BE A BASHING REVIEW, just my honest experience. So, my consult was booked in August 2020 with Dr.Hsu for June 2021(almost a year) and was initially told surgery would be scheduled 3-4 months out from the consultation only to get to my appt and was told his FIRST opening isn't until JULY 2022(ANOTHER year). I flew in from out of town and really could have saved myself a trip if I was updated prior to my appt that his availability has been pushed back. My time is just as important as any doctor. One of my procedure was deemed "medically necessary" from previous doctors to get to Dr.Hsu and was told by one of his staff that he NORMALLY accepts insurance for certain procedures but because he's so "BOOKED" he's only doing breast cancer patients for insurance. It's the miscommunication that put a bad taste in my mouth. He does AMAZING work but the price AND the wait time is a little out of hand is something to consider if your considering surgery with him. read more

This place is so unprofessional and rude I said about a consultation with Dr. Patrick almost a year ago because he been so busy with clientele. I also paid $100 for the consultation. After waiting almost a year for this consultation I get a random FaceTime calls back to back five times in a row from an unknown number. Come to find out it was the doctor calling an hour early for that appointment. When I tried to reach back out at the appointment that was scheduled for 6:30 PM instead of 5:30 PM they told me that the office was closed and to reach out during business hours. How do you schedule someone during closed hours? & then the following day cancel the appointment with me because your "uncomfortable" with my frustration. Hundred percent recommend!! I decided to go here after seeing their Instagram stories and promotions for lip injections and I'm very pleased with my results. Nathaly performed the injections she was super helpful, I really trusted her because I had small lips to begin with and she made sure to space out my injections so my lips didn't ballon out. The multiple trips weren't even a bother because the filler settled well in between sessions and gave me a more natural plump. I got 2 syringes of Juvederm over a two month period. read more

Looking for a great plastic surgeon, Dr. Patrick Hsu at Memorial Plastic Surgery is a fantastic doc. Dr. Hsu is a physician I used to work for here in Houston for years. He is passionate with his work and truly cares for his patients. He does amazing work. He specializes in all body and face plastic surgery such as, Breast Augmentation, lifts, reductions, fat grafting, tummy tucks, lipo, coolsculpting, brachioplasty, eyelid lifts, facelifts etc. He is not only a plastic surgeon but a reconstructive plastic surgeon as well. His work involves reconstructing patient's who have had breast cancer. There are many kinds of reconstruction such as DIEP Flap, TRANS Flap and more. The general surgeon comes in and removes both breasts, one breast or removes the lump and he (Dr. Hsu) will reconstruct the breasts. I am telling you this because I worked for Dr. Hsu for years though later as I decided to stay home after being married became his patient. I am over 3 years in remission and have overgone a double mastectomy (removal of both breasts) and reconstruction. I had breast cancer and had to go through chemo for 6 months and reconstruction thereafter. I chose the option of having both breast removed and replaced with implants. I love my doctor! Where do I even start! From the moment I called Memorial Plastic Surgery (MPS) to the moment I met Dr Vasilakis (Dr. V) it has been a wonderful experience. I had gone to another popular surgeon's office a few weeks before and was not impressed with their bedside manner. So thank you MPS for such a great experience. Caroline is an awesome medical assistant and has stayed in constant contact with me from pre-op to now! Now to Dr. V, the man of the hour - he has such a genuine, knowledgeable and calming nature. As soon as he walked into the consulation room I knew right then and there he'd be my cosmetic surgeon. He got right down to my level and explained everything to me, addressed all concerns and truly made me feel at ease. Up until the week of my surgery, he worked closely with my cardiologist to get the proper medical clearance and even spoke with me a few times on the phone letting me know that it could be postponed but there are no shortcuts when it comes to my health, which I truly appreciated reassuring I wasn't just a number/case. The day of surgery was seamless, again his genuine nature reassured me that I was in good hands. His enthusiasm about his work and about cosmetic surgery in general let me know he was the only and RIGHT person for the job. Giving out his personal cell for any questions or concerns I may have after the surgery. Hands down, he is the best! I only met with two surgeons but knew he was the one to go with! Post-op, I am healing very nicely and he continues to bring in that same genuine, concerned nature! I've seen some GREAT progress and it has only been 13 days! I recently moved to Houston from Southern California. I had been trying for almost 5 years to get insurance to approve a breast reduction. I came across memorial plastic surgery on yelp and scheduled a consultation with Dr. Mohan. I was so surprised by how beautiful the office is and how nice all the staff was! Dr. Mohan is the BEST surgeon I've ever had a consult with, and I completely trusted her with my surgery. After insurance gave us approval for surgery, I was able to schedule my surgery for as soon as a week away. I had a pre-op a little over a week before surgery, and they answered all of my questions. Then I had a pre op with the hospital where my surgery would be, and they were kind as well. The day of surgery I was so excited, but kind of nervous as this was my first surgery ever. Dr. Mohan made me feel so comfortable and talked me through everything! Her bedside manner is remarkable, and she has such a kind heart. She called me the day after surgery to check up on how I was doing. I went in at 1 week post op, again at two weeks, and again today at my 1 month post op. The staff has been so wonderful, and I couldn't be more blessed to have found memorial plastic surgery and Dr. Mohan. If I ever need anything done in the future, I will go to Dr. Mohan without a doubt. I recommend this office to all of my friends. I asked around at work for referrals to a plastic surgeon and 7 of the nurses I work with recommended Dr. Melissa Crosby. I was impressed by that because the feedback on her work as a surgeon and her as a person was equally great. So I went and ended up having her revise my C-section scar. My OBGYN did a terrible job closing it and it had healed poorly. Dr. Crosby did the procedure in her office (to save me $$$) under local anesthetic and Valium. My husband dropped my off and took the kids to the adjoining mall for dinner. They picked my up an hour later and the recovery was minimal-I was back to work after a long weekend. My scar healed so well and I am SO HAPPY I went to see Dr. Crosby. I wish I would have taken care of this a year ago :0) I would highly recommend Dr. Crosby to anyone for any plastic surgery visit. She does a lot more than scar revisions-breasts, tummy tucks, cancer reconstruction, etc. She has a pretty impressive resume. Dr. Hsu is a magician with a scalpel for a wand! I took a nasty spill in the middle of the night and ended up with a terrible gash on my brow area. No way was I willing to entrust my face to anyone else, so I frantically called him before dawn. He responded to me promptly and stitched me up shortly after. My stitches were removed a week ago and, honestly, even I can't tell there was ever a huge cut there...Would definitely recommend Dr. Patrick Hsu to anyone in need of an amazing plastic surgeon!! read more

LOVE Dr. Crosby!!! She is the best. Rarely do you encounter a doctor who genuinely cares about you and what is best for you. I first met her when faced with the decision of reconstructive surgery while at MD Anderson and she walked me through it, showed me options, answered my NUMEROUS questions and addressed every concern and was never frustrated with me or exasperated. I didn't make up my mind on what exactly to do/what route until basically the end of the line and she was patient and understanding and continued to talk through all options and let me go at my pace and did not push or make me feel pressured. I cannot tell you what a blessing she has been to my life (and my husbands) making what was a horrible scary time for us better. She is very perceptive and responsive and available. Not something you can say about a lot of doctors. I have recently needed her services again and she is the same wonderful, personable, warm and caring doctor that she was three years ago that I have been singing her praises about. I was referred to Dr. Patrick Hsu after I learned I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. It was a roller coaster of seeing doctor after doctor for a number of different things. I must say, he was one of the, if not THE best doctor I encountered. His bedside manner was impeccable and he was very thorough with explaining every procedure along the way. He explained my options and helped me select what was best for my case. I was initially afraid my breasts were not going to look the same, in a bad way - which was probably the least of my worries, but it was something that I honestly thought about. I googled several images of reconstruction that scared me and was afraid of the outcome I might have. I had so many questions when I first met with Dr. Hsu, and he answered every single one. After talking with him and seeing some of his work on similar cases such as mine, I felt much better and confidant that he wouldn't let me down. And he certainly did not! He is a skillful doctor and made my breasts look better than ever! I had nipple sparring and they look so real! I was extremely happy with the results. Not only that, but the day I had my double mastectomy, he came by to visit with me which I found very thoughtful and personable. Not many doctor's do that for their patients. He really cares about his patients and is a master at what he does. I am so thankful I was referred to him and would go back to him if I ever have cosmetic needs.
