I underwent multiple procedures including an arm lift, tummy tuck with lipo 360, and a breast lift…read morewith implants. After my arm lift, I developed a visible band on my right arm. I was told this was something I was "born with" and that it was swelling, but this was not discussed with me prior to surgery. I was sent articles after the surgery to educate me instead of before. Six months later, I proceeded with a paid revision. During that procedure, I experienced significant pain and expressed that multiple times. The procedure continued, and the final result was not reviewed with me as previously discussed. Fat was also taken from my inner thighs during the revision. I was told this would not leave visible marks, but I now have noticeable indentations in those areas. At this point, my arms are still uneven in size, with my left arm significantly smaller than my right. My right arm looks like I have a deformed elbow. I also continue to have a visible pink scar along my tummy tuck incision nearly two years later. I still experience swelling in my right hand more than a year after the revision, which I raised concerns about and didn't hear anything back. I attempted to follow up multiple times regarding these concerns, including sending messages that did not receive a response. I was later formally dismissed as a patient and was unable to complete previously discussed follow-up care, including scar treatment and minor corrections. I received a certified letter stating I was no longer her patient after I told her that I didn't feel emotionally or physically safe. The revision hurt more than it should, verbally being told different of many things took an emotional toll on me. After requesting my medical records, it took several months and multiple follow-ups to receive them. This experience took a significant toll on me during the healing process. I also found myself unable to leave feedback on some platforms after being blocked. If I could do it again, I would take more time researching and ensuring all expectations, risks, and follow-up care are clearly documented in advance.

So disappointed in my surgical results…read more I lost a LOT of weight and went to Dr. Rednam to remove the excess skin on my arms and extending down my sides. This was my first post-weight loss surgery and I had an extended brachioplasty in July 2019 with Dr. Rednam. Her office is incredibly clean, professional, and the staff is all kind and responsive. I had surgery at the facility next door. Surgery went fine. The doctor was responsive when I had questions and my appointments were always on time. Too much skin was removed on my left arm and not enough on my right. I had a tight band of skin on my left arm and it was limiting range of motion. Dr. Rednam advised that I wait at least 6 months to allow healing and the skin to adjust. I agreed and at 6 months, the skin was still far too tight on the left arm and too loose on the right. I went in for an additional procedure on each arm with her to loosen the skin on one arm and tighten the other. This cost ME an additional fee. It was done in office. The too loose arm is much better and the too tight arm is still a little too tight. Once you take away too much skin, you can't put it back. She made an attempt to loosen the skin by doing a zig zag incision and that certainly helped but it's not "fix". In addition, from the moment I unwrapped by arms from the original procedure, I was surprised at the crudeness and coarseness of the sutures and skin puckering. I had puckering skin and an uneven appearance. I had hoped that over time it would smooth out. It did a bit but it still looks bad. I have shown my arms to several other surgeons and of course, no doctor wants to say anything negative about another doctor, but I have had it confirmed to me that the appearance is result are not what should be expected from the surgery. I had lost a lot of weight and my arms had no extra fat on them. Therefore, it was just skin removed and no liposuction to remove additional fat. I am left with skin that is too tight on my arm near the elbow and an elbow with little to no padding because of the removal of too much skin and tissue. It has been over 2 years since the surgery and the skin and scar still look bad but more importantly it is not as functional as I had hoped or expected. I cannot rest on the elbow back of the lack of tissue. There is still a tightness to the skin and a slight band on too tight skin when I flex my arm. I know all surgeries come with inherent risks and I was prepared for that. I had previously had 5 required orthopedic surgeries, so I wasn't a novice to surgery. Unfortunately, this is (in my opinion) doctor error during surgery. I am also disappointed that I was charged for a corrective procedure.

The surgical center and staff was also amazing. I plan to go there for my next solo vacation to get pampered :). I'm telling you Dr Boutros is brilliant and worth every penny. My experience with this practice has been incredibly disappointing. Eight months ago, I had a…read moreprocedure that cost a significant amount of money. Following my procedure, my doctor and I discussed that some areas would need a minor correction. However, because I live out of the country, I wasn't able to do it immediately. When I was finally able to return to the practice, I was informed that my original doctor had left. I was told that the practice's founder would be taking over her patients, so I scheduled a consultation with him. He agreed that the areas my previous doctor and I discussed did, in fact, need to be corrected. Unfortunately, the estimate I received was for the full price of a brand-new procedure, not for a corrective one. When I questioned this, I was told that the only way for the procedure to be treated as a correction was to find my original doctor and have her perform it. After spending so much money on the initial procedure, I expected the practice to stand behind their work and make these corrections. I understand that I may have to pay something, which my original doctor and I had discussed, but having a patient pay twice to get the outcome that should have been achieved with one procedure is wrong. The way this whole situation was handled was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this practice. My advice to anyone considering a procedure is to be very clear about how corrective procedures are handled, not just by the doctor, but by the office, before you commit to a practice. Everyone is willing to take your money but when unexpected things happen, it's very few that do the right thing

Dr Sato Review From…read morethe moment I met Dr. Erika Sato I knew she was the surgeon for me. I had done extensive research over the years on tummy tucks and had consulted with a few other surgeons previously... but not one came close to making me feel 100% comfortable as she did. Dr. Sato is real and transparent; beautifully blunt, as I like to call it. She probes you to ask questions and gives you answers questions you didn't even know you had. When she says "Ok, what else..." you know that she wants to give you all of the knowledge you need or desire before surgery. I respected that immensely then and throughout these first 6 weeks of recovery. Her bedside manner is outstanding and her nursing staff is incredible (special kudos to Savannah at My Houston Surgeons). If I email her directly or text a question during recovery, she answers almost immediately. This is so important during recovery for support and ease of mind, especially the first two weeks. Dr. Sato has been very accurate in the projected recovery timeline, as you go through the many phases. She's always there to reassure you that bloating is normal, or to address any concern with scar healing/medications. I had lost over 70lbs over the years and wanted to be able to see my hard work, but could not with the extra skin I had. I lift and workout 6 days a week for YEARS, with a coach... I had tried CoolSculpting earlier this year with minimal results, because you cannot remove skin. Dr. Sato made it possible for me to have my "dream body" that I've worked for 12 years for, and for that, I will be forever grateful. What I had done: Full tummy tuck, liposuction to the upper and lower abs and mons with fat grafting to my boobs (230CCs each). I believe 15 sq in of skin was removed. These photos are one week PRE-OP and 6 weeks POST-OP. I look forward to my next follow ups and to see the new changes every week for the next few months of recovery. I could not have asked for a better surgeon and experience and will refer anyone and everyone considering plastic surgery to Dr. Sato.
