I was appreciative that they were able to squeeze me in last minute, but I'm not that happy with the quality of my nails. I got a gel manicure with tips added and the gel started cracking/peeling on my thumb by the end of the day. Also, I got a glitter polish and the bottle was pretty much empty but my nail tech made sure to use all of it but by doing so, my nails look kind of incomplete. There's no polish on the sides of those nails and one you can still kind of see through. read more

If giving zero stars was an option that's what this place deserves. I went in to get a gel polish french manicure and the woman who was helping me seemed extremely angry at me from the moment I sat down. She kept asking if I wanted acrylic (long nails) and every time I said no she got mad. She then proceeded to do the sloppiest French manicure I've ever seen (not even trying to make the lines straight). She got mad at me every time I asked her to fix them even though I was being polite about it and apologizing for being particular. She then called over another woman who worked there and held up my hand and was clearly laughing and talking badly about me for continuing to want them fixed. She kept giving me dirty looks and laughing with her coworker. Then when it was time for me to pay she nearly broke my card in half bending it in the machine super hard and said it didn't work. I asked if she could try tapping the card and she said they didn't have that but then tapped it angrily and it worked. Also she made multiple of my nails bleed and did not even perform the normal manicure routine or clean off the blood or clean the nail polish that was all over my fingers. The manicure also lasted less than a week because she did not try at all. I went here previously and had good service but after this recent time I will never go back and no longer recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have attempted about 5 times to use this nail salon with each visit being increasing worse. Yesterday 7/24/19 I requested a neon green polish for my toe and a design (half nude and half neon green) for my finger nails. The polish used on my toes was old. I know the polish was old because 1) the application was not smooth and 2) the nail technician kept adding nail polish remover to the bottle. When I asked about it, I was told "this is a new polish, there is nothing wrong with the polish". When I asked if the nail tech should've applied a white polish as a base prior to applying the neon green color I was ignored. When two other customers asked about adding a white polish as a base the staff happily obliged. When I showed a picture of the nail design I wanted I was told "yes we can do that for you". The nail tech rushed through the polish application and it shows. My nails look like I did them at home. On top of all of this I guarantee the staff was talking about me. I felt uncomfortable and as if I was bothering them. I will not be returning! I will now have to spend more money and get my nails redone! read more

This place is beyond amazing. I had went to a different place about a month prior to going to works and where I work at is a pretty upscale Wax Center and obviously couldn't work with broken fingernails and I had 45 minutes to get to work in time so I called luxe and asked her if she could get a fill in done in 30 minutes if I paid her extra and she said of course come on in because I only live three minutes from where it's at and I get there she gets me right in she got my feeling done in about 42 minutes and it literally looked like a beyond amazing everyone complementing me on my nails for the next week or two and it's almost time to go back now. They were extremely friendly the place is very very clean and nice and I will be sticking with lux nails from now on and will not go anywhere else because she definitely saved me that day. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone I know or even people I don't now. Oh and BTW she refused to take any extra money but I have course tipped her very well but I offered to pay extra for the service itself in addition to the tip and she would not allow me to pay her additional so that says a lot about that place in itself. I'll post a picture of it please keep in mind these are even three weeks old because I work so much and have been unable to get back so the photo is three weeks old so imagine how great they looked when I first got them done. My cousins and I went to this nail salon and had a horrible experience. Two of us received a Dip manicure, and my other cousin received a gel pedicure. They did not buff or file our nails prior to starting the dip powder process. The person working on my nails didn't do the process correctly, which resulted in all of my nails feeling grainy instead of smooth, on top of some not being fully dry after 15 minutes under the UV light. The person working on my cousins nails made her nails look blotchy. The person that did my cousin's pedicure did not ask her what type she wanted, and did not ask her if she wanted refreshments like they asked other customers. When my cousins came over to check on me after realizing the person messed up my nails, the employee told them to step outside. We will never return to Luxe Nails after having such a terrible experience. read more

I went here and truly gave this place and chance...three chances to be exact. But LuXe nails overbook and will take a walk-in when they are already jammed packed. They want the money!! I scheduled an appointment the second time back for a fill-in and pedicure. I was treated as a walk-in. It took 15 minutes to even get started on my pedicure. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes after my pedicure for my fill-in because they took a three walk-ins even tho ever tech was already with someone. There was also another lady across from me that had came in shortly after me. The put foil on her nails and forgot about her to the point they never got started on her pedicure. She just sat in her pedicure chair, with foil on, no water and eventually just walked out. Had not spoken up for myself I would have been forgotten as well. Worst experience of my life. First, the guy forgot an entire step before starting to prep my nails on one hand. Then, he filed my nails down way way way shorter than I asked for. Then, when he was using the spinny thing before putting the powder on he 1) made me bleed on one finger and 2) filed my nails down close enough to the skin to where it was hurting when he was doing it. Only a day later it already started chipping but I didn't have time to go get it redone before Christmas. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK ! They are VERY racist ! They feel they are above us ! Do not give them your money. I've tried several times to give them a chance because JENNY (the only kind one) does a GREAT JOB ! However the rest of the workers there are very rude !! I came in and said I wanted Jenny to do my nails and that anyone could do my polish change on my toes. I was told it would be a wait for Jenny. They got me in super quick and were very nice and polite. But there were a few things that will keep me from returning. When they were removing the gel from my nails, they used their finger nails to scrap it off instead of a tool. I can't even describe the cringing that went through my body while this was being done. The other was that my hands didn't soak for the manicure and also, the shape wasn't what I wanted. As they have grown out, I'm seeing where the top coat was applied very uneven and is causing lifts in the polish that are pulling my hair when I wash or style it. Because of this, I'm having to get my nails redone a week earlier than I should because of the lifting. I was really hopeful for this place due to the reviews but was sadly disappointed. read more

I asked for coffin shaped, matte red designed nails. I also showed him a picture several times. My nails were already the length and shape. He asked if I wanted them cut and I told him just a little. He cut my pinky nail all the way down and followed suit with the others. I repeated I wanted a longer length and the shape. He cut 3 of my fingers drilling and the others are sore from over filling. When he was done I told him O didn't like them and not only at were they square but the polish was glossy. He told me the total and once I got the receipt I was cussed an additional $25 for what I DIDNT get! A lady walked over and instead of looking at my nails she's going back and forth with me about THEIR prices. Came here on a Saturday morning with my two stepdaughters. I do not like crowds and would personally have come during a weeknight where I felt it would have not been so busy as most nail salons are pretty busy on the weekends. However we decided to make a girls day of it. I called a head of time to see how long of a wait there would be. The gentleman that answered the phone was very nice and inviting. He told me there is wait at the moment and that they had enough stuff to serve us whenever we got there. He then asked me how long it would be, as I live right down the street I told him it would take us about 10 minutes to get there. He said we will be waiting for you when you get here. I felt really welcomed once I arrived. We were asked to sign in since we did not have an appointment and we were seated right away. I got a pedicure. And the girls both got manicures. My oldest wanted acrylic which was fine and the youngest just wanted a manicure with gel polish. There was some confusion or miscommunication with what my youngest wanted but it was taken care of immediately. I picked a light color from my nail polish and the gentleman doing my pedicure went a head and did three coats so that I could see it. He did very good work. The girls were very happy with their manicures as well. I definitely recommend this place. The girl at the front desk was new that day and she kept apologizing, however the staff seemed very friendly with helping her navigate the system when taking our payment. read more
