I called 30 mins before I wanted to come in and they said they could take me. I show up on time and they had me "soak" in water for 30 mins. I told them I was going to leave because they had done nothing for me. the lady talked on her phone more than she was actually doing nails. 2 people worked on my pedicure. The place is disgustingly dirty. 2 people walked out in the 30 mins I was there. I wouldn't waste my time even thinking about this place. read more

I stopped in for a pedicure - I was seated at a chair where the water was boiling hot but the tech was still working on a manicure, so their was no point of saying anything b/c he went back to his table. Before I even got a tech to start my pedicure, my water was luke warm. I'm not sure how this place is still in business, it really shouldn't be. After 30 mins of so asking, I started to leave but I was advised to wait 5 more mins. She was going so fast, I got nervous I would be cut but I was not - the overall experience and the actual quality is very poor. read more

Terrible service. i had checked in and was next in line. 2 ladies walked in and sat right down. They said they did not have appointments. The guy said he would help them next, but said to me "don't worry I'll call someone to come over for you. She lives close by." He expected me to wait while the elderly lady got ready and drove over. it was very rude and I will not be back. read more

So I popped in here after work thinking it was the same place I went before .. it was not. However, they said they could get me in so I decided to take my chance. BAD MOVE. Firstly the man doing my nails was shaking and sweating the whole time. I don't know if that contributed to my experience but I'd like to think it was an off day HOPEFULLY. The man hurt me several times to the point I was almost going to get up and walk out for the first time ever. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years so I know it can be painful but not like that. I have a cut on my cuticle. All the pain was from his drill and my skin. He also held my fingers tight which hurt but I can deal with that. Now after I got my nails done you can still see bits of my previous color under my nails. The nail's themselves are lumpy, crooked, and chipping. I can also see yellow under which I'm not sure is fungus from my previous set, or now, but either way it should have been removed .. not painted over. It's also chipping on the sides and I got them done 5 days ago. The "French looking" tip is also off and you can see the nail under. Overall the worst set I've had in years. I am back again to speak of my dislike of this business. I only came back again because my mother bought me a gift certificate for my birthday so essentially it was free for me. I came in to get a full set , and while she was putting the tips on she was having a hard time getting some of them to stay on. she proceeded to fill them in with acrylic. I had to tell her specifically on some of the nails which were longer or wider than the others, I don't think that is my place as a customer to have to do so when you have a nail professional that should be able to catch those sort of things. After she was done with the shape of my nails she painted them, Which she didn't paint all the way on the sides nor does she go all the way down to your cuticle so within leaving the shop you already have a gap from your cuticle to your painted nail. I had to ask her to do another coat so that the color filled in well. I was told to go to the dryer and a few minutes and another nail tech came over to put a clear coat on, (my nail tech T was already onto another customer, which i think you should finish your customer all the way out) which she just slapped it on there so there were places on the edges and bottom that didn't have a clear coat which was very noticeable so I spoke to another nail tech and the same nail tech came over and she didn't want to redo all of the nails just the ones I thought needed to be done. In doing so , one of them got a piece of dirt or something in the mail and I pointed out to her she tried to use her finger to get it off as well as just continuing to put more clear coat on top, which she was never able to get that colored piece out so I left with about five layers of clear coat on one of my nail, which started to bubble and looked really bad. After leaving the shop I was very disappointed for the service that I had. ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT , less than a week later I was simply scratching my head and one of my nails broke where the tip is placed on. I will not be going back again to the salon, and I would recommend you finding another salon to go to if you want to leave a happy customer if l could leave this place negative stars i would. read more

In North Carolina she gets her nails done every 3 weeks and she is expressing that Cang did a better job than any of her regular nail techs. Okay, I will admit there are many of "walk-in" style nail salons around town - very nearly one in every little strip center. But, after trying others, even some that were more "posh" in decor and such, I have committed to only going here for my manis and pedis...that is, unless I am the lucky recipient of a "day at a spa" certificate! This salon is clean and friendly and the owners - I think a husband and wife team - always make you feel welcome. Call me crazy, but I like to be spoken to when entering and leaving a business....surprisingly, this is becoming less common every day! The estheticians at Elite are efficient and talented - can you say great foot and leg massage??? I've never left here disappointed with my experience - no nail polish on cuticles, no smudged toes or fingers and certainly no cuts, infections or any of that other unsavory stuff you have to consider with hand and nail services. The Elite team also offer facial waxing services and though I am a devotee of threading for my brows, I can attest to the good job they do here. One note: take your debit or credit card or cash with you as the salon does not take checks. read more

If you choose this salon, make sure to pay very close attention to what is being done to your nails, because if you don't, they might seriously hurt you, like they did in my case. Also, If you are used to a big city salon, and you have specific preferences on how your nails are done, you need to pay very close attention at this place, because otherwise they will just assume things without asking. During my appointment, my technician decided to start cutting into the side of my big toe nail. I saw it when she started to pull off a piece of my nail (not cut, pull), and asked her to please stop because that was hurting me and was making my nail bleed, but she continued. I continued to plead that it was hurting me, at which point the technician next to mine turned to me and asked "so, you mean you want her to not cut it?" I said, yes please, I'd like her to stop, because she is hurting me. So, the other technician turned to mine and told her something in another language, at which point they both giggled and looked at me like I was being unreasonable. This just made me really awkward and unwelcome in this place. Plus, a day later I had trouble waking because my big toe was swollen and inflamed. This has never happened to me in years of pedicures. Also, I asked them to trim my nails, because I like them short and round, not long and square. My technician smiled at me, said OK, and then proceeded not to trim them and file them square. When I specifically pointed out that they were still too long, and asked her to cut them, she trimmed the nail on one toe only, and moved on. I figured that perhaps she did not speak good English and decided not to be rude and dropped the point. Additionally, until this place I've never been to a salon that just assumed that the customer wants to use the razor on their feet without even asking them. When I explained to her that I did t want that, I got another weird look and more comments about me (in front of me) in another language. Visited Elite Nails to get a fresh mani/pedi for a wedding I was attending. I was visiting from out of town and this place had the best reviews. The salon was clean. The technicians were very friendly with the customers. There were lots of men getting pedicures, which was kind of cute. LOL I asked my manicurist about it... she said once they start they get hooked. :-p The technician did a nice job on my pedicure, but the manicure left me a bit underwhelmed. There were bubbles on a few nails and the polish was applied a bit sloppily. I'll give her a bit of a pass on that because I got white polish and I know white polish can be hard to deal with. Also the color selection wasnt that great... They didnt have any new colors, and they only carried O.P.I and not Essie or Zoya, which I prefer. Lots of folks seemed to be getting acrylic or gel. They all seemed very satisfied. I probably wouldn't visit Elite Nails again because I tend to gravitate towards trendier colors, but I was very satisfied with the mani/pedi and very pleased with the friendliness and cleanliness of the salon. read more

Friendly staff to your face but they talk a lot. I don't understand the language but I've been to enough nail salons to know when they talk poorly about their customers. I originally went for main/pedi but I could only stay for a pedi cuz I had to get my kid from karate which is two doors down. My nail technician was like "just leave him with his teacher he'll be fine" Umm no. He's 6 and I communicate to him that he would have to be by himself. I explained that to her and she kept on pushing. After that she stopped talking to me and just started talking to her co worker. The service felt rushed and I feel like she didn't clean my toes as well as I would have liked. It's clean but it's uncomfortable to sit there while people are talking about you. It's good price, but if you want a rushed service with people talking in a foreign language then this is the place. I won't be going back. read more

This used to be my go to salon... until one day when I was serviced by a tech named J.T. I never write reviews but felt I should share my experience as a warning to others. As a regular walk-in client, I used to observe J.T. with who appeared to be his regular clients. He seemed popular and was always busy or had people waiting for him or requesting him. So when I walked in on a Saturday afternoon for a gel mani/pedi and he walked up to service me, I thought I was in good hands. WRONG!! He was acting like he was under the influence of something. He kept repeating himself, rambling, and asking me the same questions over and over again. He didn't do the normal process of removing the dead skin from my feet. He didn't use any of the cuticle softner or other products that are always used during my pedi. He literally went straight to cutting my cuticles. Which he made bleed (I had to ask for antiseptic), then filed some (not all) of my toe nails...they were uneven. I had to point that out also. Then he did the sloppiest paint job EVER. There was paint on my skin, it was not done professionally at all. I kept asking him to fix this or go over that...after 10-15 attempts to get him to do a basic paint job correctly, I gave up. When he was done, it looked like a 5 year old tried to do my nails. Like an idiot, I proceeded to give him a chance to complete my gel mani (only in the interest of time. I had an event to go to and all the salons were closing soon). Again he didn't use cuticle softener, stating that it would mess up the gel manicure. I had never heard that from any nail tech before. AGAIN he made my cuticles bleed (twice more). I eventually begged him to just stop. He completely botched my manicure. I kept asking him to clean it up, and he kept painting over previous layers, trying to file and clip paint off of my skin making it worse and worse. In tears, I told him I wasn't happy with my service. He kept trying to offer me $5.00 off my next service. But he refused to discount the price of the mani/pedi. I paid (I think I was in shock), and as I walked outside and the natural light hit my nails, I could clearly see my hands and feet looked like raw minced meet. I turned right back around and demanded a refund. The owner refused so I caused a scene. Meanwhile, J.T. was mumbling something under his breath about how he tried to be "nothing but nice to me". All the techs and the owner swarmed around me after speaking korean for a long time to each other. They never refunded my money but they did my mani/pedi over from scratch. The paint on my fingernails had to be drilled off because my cuticles were so raw, they couldn't soak the paint off with acetone. Although I appreciated the VIP service they gave me in the end to try to fix his mistake, I still should have been given a full refund for my pain and suffering. I actually thought about filing a complaint with the licensing board. People like JT should not be allowed to risk the health and safety of paying clients who trust that they are able to work within safety guidelines. After soaking my fingers and toes in peroxide nightly, luckily I didn't end up with any infections. But I was prepared to file a law suit if I had. BEWARE! And enter at your own risk. This was hands down the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I only went here because Nina nails had an hour wait but boy do I wish I would have waited that hour. I got there at 10:30 am and was immediately greeted warmly by a gentleman. He asked what I came in for and I told him a fill-in. While he did the fill, I looked for my color and soon found the right one. After coming back from washing my hands I noticed an iridescent paint color and decided to go with that instead. As he started to paint I noticed that the color wasn't what I picked, I expressed that and he quickly removed it. As he removed the paint I thought that I should just get nude to be on the safe side since he had already messed up. Instead of the nude he insisted that I would love the iridescent so he did it anyway....I hated it. He removed the color incompletely and began to paint the nude on top....I was sure that after the second coat the previous color would be gone but of course I saw that color too (the iridescent color was a Colt blue). Unfortunately I hated it and asked if he could just remove the nude and paint them clear....1 1/2 hour in, let me remind you that there were no customers there when I came. While taking the nude off he quietly told me and I quote, " just give me 20." I looked at the one hand that had already been painted clear and noticed that there was paint still on them (nude and blue), the shape was extremely boxy (the opposite of what I asked), and even some of the clear paint didn't cover my entire nail. I politely told him that I didn't think this was even worth 20 and after he painted my nails he said and I quote " you can just leave." This was my second experience here....my first was ruined by an employee obviously high on something. They are not listed with the BBB either. These pictures were taken 1 hour after the "service". The best Nails Shop In Town! If you looking for a place to relax and enjoy. This is the place to go. I found out Elite Nails from my friends and when I finally went there it lived up to all expectations. It's very clean and nice, not cramped like some other nails salon I've been to. The employees are very helpful and fantastic, they have all nice selection of polishes including my preferred brand OPI Gel. I got an amazing manicure and pedicure at a really reasonable price, they are running promotion for mani/pedi right now, they have great massage pedicure chairs, which they let you run the controls and enjoy the chairs as long as you want. read more

Please do not waste your time nor money. Service and quality has went from excellent to extremely poor. If you'd like to be treated rudely this is the place for you. My last and I do mean LAST appointment, new gel acrylic set nails were shaped horribly and began lifting within a week. Nail tech Tea no matter what time of day is always in a foul mood. I went on last week to get Polish changed, never been there before, and was killing time while my daughter had her nails taken off. Once I left my toe nail bed was itching really bad, to the point I couldn't takes it anymore and went to doctor and found out I had nail fungus from unsanitary tools. I called to let them know so it wouldn't happen to anyone else,and the guy on the phone said"ok","thank you", I thought that was so rude considering this had never happened to me ever,I will never go back and hope that anyone that does pay attention to them and hope they are not using dirty tools. read more

Worst pedicure ever. It was very rushed, and the man checking people in who doesn't do nails did my pedicure and it was horrible. They didn't clean their utensils, and tried to share utensils between another customer and myself. They drained the water out of the bowl and were working on my feet dry . Went to this place on several occasions. This place is a dump and I saw a roach crawl on the salon chair. The owner brings in workers without a license, and they do guess work on your nails. A couple of the ladies that work there are constantly fixing the non licensed workers work. Some of them just hang out there and do nothing. Horrible horrible horrible. read more

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the lady who did my nails was nice and somewhat friendly. I am from TX here visiting for a few weeks. Maybe nail salons here are just different...idk. I came here to get a solar nail fill (at the time i had pink w/ blue sparkly tips and wanted to just get a pink & white fill to change the color back to the way i had it before) and a pedi. First off, the ladies there had never even HEARD of having solar or fake nails with colored tips. Huh?! Not trying to be rude, but i really don't think this is a brand new concept. They should have been able to just sand or file down the blue part of the nail to give me my pink and white fill. but no... the lady insisted that i have to totally soak off my nails and put on a new set. Fine, whatever. After that was done and the lady started putting my new set on, it was VERY clear that she was inexperienced/not comfortable with doing solar nails. The other manicurists were asking her if she wanted them to do it... coming by to check how she was doing... etc. Let me just say that this woman did my solar nails in a way i have NEVER experienced. first off, she did not put enough white on, so you can clearly see a line where the fake nail was glued on every one of my fingers. Also there are clear bubbles visible on the pink part of my nails. I also had a pedicure done which was just ok.. nothing special at all. I am the type of girl who usually likes to have little designs or flowers on my toes--i am used to being offered this back home in TX, but this lady did not even ask. Probably because she doesn't even know how to do nail designs. when i went to pay for the services and was told i owed $75, i looked at them like they were crazy!! $75 for being forced to soak my nails off, having a crappy solar set put on my someone who had no idea what they were doing, and just an "OK" pedicure. Back home, i would not have been charged more than about $50 max. I just paid and left. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A DELUXE PEDI OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH SOLAR NAILS!!! read more

The man that did my nails had dirt crusted all over his hands and under his fingernails, had food on his face, and ate handfulls of skittles the entire time. This nail salon caters to a specific type of woman. If you do not fit the criteria...chances are the service will be awful. At first glance the shop appears nice and the people appear friendly. In actuality, only one person may or may not say hello when you walk in/out and I believe she is the owner. Specific women seem to receive "VIP" treatment while others wait for long periods, while watching them work on others. When it is finally time for you...the service is rushed, unprofessional, and disappointing. For example the entire nail from edge to edge is not polished. The acrylic is applied in a way that will leave you needing a fill in within a week. Plus, if you are a woman of a certain race chances are you will be repeatedly asked if you want a design on your big toe!! Overall...to receive great service...you will need to basically change who you are! Oh and the prices charged DO NOT match the level of service given. Most often my mani/pedi was painful!! Also, what I wanted was not taken into consideration. They kind of just do what they want and think is best. read more
