I've got really short eyelashes and initially, I was worried about how the application would go as well as how it would look. She was great to knew exactly the right size for my eyes (not too long, not too short)! The application process is easy and the lashes have some real staying power. I went mountain climbing for 8 days after one application and they stayed put and my friend remarked how I always looked "photo ready"! I found Alissa after an ill-advised, poorly-executed full acrylic set I was very eager to remove. She recognized the damage that had been done to my nail-beds and advised a "growth plan." My nails looked and felt immediately better. She dipped to give strength while they grew out to their regular undamaged strength. She was so careful not to make any prior damage worse, and she has an eye for color style. Months later and I still won't go anywhere else since I found Alissa! I now get the gel every two or three weeks and the manicure definitely lasts the whole time. None of the chips/breaks or the dreaded gel-peels I have experienced with the walk-in places. She has some fun techniques for accent nails or a flashy 10-finger party. Plus there was a heated shoulder wrap, heated mitts for the gel soak-off, literally all the colors from several respected & reliable brands (gel, dip, and traditional formulas!) careful cuticle work, and a warm smile that makes it a wonderful comfortable experience for a VERY reasonable price. In addition to her skills and experience, she's fun to sit with and chat! I'm genuinely happy to see her for my appointments - plus, I leave admiring my own hands AND get compliments!
