She gave me a beautiful glow for my big day and everyone was complimenting me on it. She was very helpful, detail oriented and professional. I was pretty nervous about getting a spray tan because I didn't want to look orange, and she came up with the perfect shade for me, and I was comfortable with letting her do her thing. The airbrush is a little cold, but she warned me first, so I was ready! She contoured my face, and applied the spray tan evenly. The spray tan took about 15 minutes, and lasted a couple of days before I noticed some parts fading on my skin. I did see some of the color in the water when I showered after 24 hours, but didn't notice any loss of color on my skin. Definitely book an appointment Beauty Mark for your spray tan, and try to get Nina! She is amazing :) P.S. Booking online is really easy, but you need to provide your credit card information. I did everything they recommended, the primer, the medium tan, and they even gave me free sun tan extending cream! Very impressed from a service standpoint! However, I was honestly not super impressed by the actual quality of the spray tan. I waited almost 24 hours to shower, and I still had some spots that just didn't really tan or somehow wiped off. My wrists and under my eyes specifically. See pictures attached. My legs and arms look good, but my wrists and under my eyes look rough.. Also had a slight issue where my card was overcharged but said pending (total was $61 and my card said $73!). I called and also went back, and they gave me my receipt and told me to check in with them the next day when the full charge goes through. Again, super friendly and helpful employees! I checked today, and the overcharge was gone from my card, so we are all good there!

My first lashes appointment was with Fernanda and they looked great, but they all fell out when I went on vacation and my face was assaulted by the wind and salt water of the Pacific - I also didn't know you have to wash them to prevent oily buildup, so yeah. I came back two weeks later with literally no extensions left and had to pay for a full set all over again rather than a touch-up. I do wish they had told me about needing to wash them, because I really wasn't provided with the full aftercare instructions the first time I got them. But, now I know. They sell a special foam wash and gentle applicator for the soap here, which I recommend purchasing. My second session was with Viktoriia, who is absolutely incredible. Mynx & Inks is definitely out of the way if you live in DC, but it's worth it for the fair pricing and amazing quality.
