I received a manicure and pedicure. They had many colors to choose from. I chose a lavender color. It ended up being very thick. I had that experience at another nail salon and just let it go. Then I regretted it later at home. It started peeling quickly. I did not want that to happen again. I mentioned it to the nail tech and she did not want to use a different polish. I had to insist. She finally agreed to redo the two nails she had polished. This put a strain on the experience. Overall, I am happy with the way my nails turned out but I am not sure I would return.

I decided to give Posh Nail Lounge another chance after not coming here for about a year. In the…read morepast, it seemed like I was often paired with newer or less experienced nail techs. Unless you wanted something very basic, like a solid color or a French manicure, they usually couldn't do nail art. There was one tech who could do designs, but my sets never lasted, so I eventually found another salon and stopped coming. Recently, I needed my nails done last minute and figured enough time had passed that they would have more experienced nail techs. Unfortunately, my experience was pretty much the same. I showed them the first inspiration photo, and two different nail techs told me they didn't know how to do the tie-dye French tip. I was honestly surprised because it's not a particularly complicated design. Since that wasn't an option, I switched to a milky white manicure like my second inspiration photo. Instead of trying to custom mix colors to achieve the look (something other salons I've been to do all the time) they simply pulled different polishes from the shelf. Every option leaned gray instead of the soft milky white I wanted. At that point, I was frustrated and just settled for a plain white so I could get out of there. I will give credit where it's due: the foundation of my nails is good, and the shape came out exactly how I wanted. My pedicure was also well done. However, the polish on my toes chipped shortly afterward, and I honestly can't remember the last time that happened. If you're looking for a basic manicure or pedicure, this salon may work for you. But if you want nail art, custom color matching, or someone who can confidently recreate inspiration photos, I don't think this is the place. I really wanted this visit to change my opinion, but unfortunately it reinforced why I stopped coming in the first place.

I waited for an appointment they gave me, only to have my daughter's quick manicure pushed aside so they could take a later walk‑in instead. This wasn't the first time the atmosphere felt biased. We're done with this salon. *** Responding to owner's reply. Thank you for responding. To clarify, the issue was not the service length, it was the lack of communication. At no point did anyone explain that my daughter's manicure needed to be paused or adjusted. She was simply stopped mid‑service so a later walk‑in could be taken instead. Had anyone spoken to us directly, this would have been a very different experience. My review reflects the pattern of selective treatment and the way the situation was handled, not the pricing or the skill level. A pattern of Poor communication and biased customer service.

I am prefacing this review with the fact that my daughter has been coming to this nail salon for…read morethe past 8 years, religiously every 2 weeks. She sees the same nail technician, Cindy, who does an outstanding job. I have also had my nails done when I visit my daughter, this most recent time is no exception. And I am visiting all the way from California. Jack did my nails- and he did a great job. This review does not concern the nails techs, Cindy and Jack. Rather, this is focused on the poor customer service from the receptionist, Shania. My daughter scheduled our appointments on Saturday afternoon. We arrived on time, my daughter went to her technician's station after checking us in. Unfortunately, the receptionist did not show me where to go or tell me who my appointment was with. First impressions are lasting impressions. I noted this as I returned to the front desk and repeated my name, that I had an appointment but did not know with whom my appointment was scheduled. Shania showed me to Jack's station but still failed to tell me his name. At the end of our services ($300 of services for my daughter and me), Shania asked me if I wanted my receipt, to which I said 'Yes". I asked Shania if I could tip in cash, which she said 'Yes'. I gave Shania 2 $20 bills and informed her I was tipping $20 to Jack, $10 to Lin (the techs who did my mani, pedi). My daughter already tipped her nail tech. Shania failed to give me my change and I did not notice until we left the salon and went to our next destination. By the time we got to our destination, I told my daughter we need to go back to the salon because I did not receive my change. When we returned, my daughter went inside, explained to Shania that she did not give me my change ($10). Shania told my daughter that I told her $30 tip for Jack and $10 for Lin, that Jack already left for the day and we'd have to wait until Monday before we could get the change. My daughter told her that was wrong, I would not have tipped $30 on a $100 service and did we really have to wait until Monday to get change that was owed. My daughter returned to the car and gave me Shania's explanation which was unacceptable to me so I went into the salon. I confronted Shania who repeated the same story- that I told her $30 tip for Jack, $10 for Lin. I said, "You're lying because I clearly told you $20 for Jack, $10 for Lin". I don't normally call people out like that but there was no remorse from Shania, no apology, no words like, 'I'm sorry for the misunderstanding." Instead, she responded with feigned shock, said it was not a big deal and gruffly put 2 $5 bills in my hand. I said if it was not a big deal then you should have given my daughter the money when she came in a minute ago, particularly because we doubled back once I realized I did not get my change. This is not about the $10. Rather, this is about the principle of the matter- how to treat customers who are spending good money in your salon. This is not how a receptionist should deal with customers. She took no accountability, no responsibility for the mistake. If she had genuinely apologized, that would have been different. I explained to Shania that we doubled back because I realized the error and even then she could not manage to muster an ounce of remorse. She is a horrible receptionist. A receptionist is the face of a business. The first person that a customer interacts with whether over the phone or in person. Shania should not be the face of your business. Please put a receptionist in place that understands the value of providing good customer service and has the maturity and wherewithal to acknowledge when a mistake has been made. Until then, your business will suffer. I echo the comments of a prior reviewer- the additional charges for every little thing is annoying and leaves a poor taste in customer's mouths, not to mention seeing each technician with signs posted at their stations with QR codes to send them tips. Seeing those posters and signs for how customers can tip each nail technician through Venmo or a Cash App service really cheapens the ambiance and having to interact with a receptionist who has no clue on how to treat customers does not help!!!! $300 for nail services for 2 people, plus tip and a bad attitude? I don't think so.
