Without exception the employees are friendly and helpful, even during the busiest seasons of the year. They have gone above and beyond to make shopping efficient and pleasant. I love Lush as a concept, but I must admit I never buy anything here for myself because I don't really have the money or the interest to spend on any one type of cosmetics. I've only had two experiences with Lush, one being online and one being in-store today. The first time, I sent my sister a care package for her birthday, and she loved it. The packages they create are really well-rounded for the prices, and the scents are really nicely paired. Today I bought some things for my boyfriend's sister: shampoo, a bath bomb, hand and body lotion, and a lush catalog. His sister is vegan and really against animal cruelty/testing, so this place perfectly fits her preferences. I went in looking for a specific flower scent, and unfortunately they didn't have it, but to be fair it was oddly specific. Instead, the male employee working today (whose name escapes me) was extremely helpful, and not pushy at all. I had no idea what to look for and he helped me pick out floral scents in a variety of products, and I didn't go too far over my spending limit. I really love their catalog, and will probably be getting another one for myself next time I return, whenever that is. It is designed extremely well. read more

Went into Lush tonight and had such an amazing time, the girls were so nice and I ended up buying way more then what I came in for! I first was greeted by a lovely girl (didn't get her name) who helped me with bath bombs and then I had tons of questions about hair products and she answered every single one. She was so sweet and kind and very knowledgeable! The store became busy and she started ringing people up. I moved onto face mask and DeeDee came by to help me out. I told her what I was looking/hoping for in a face mask and she tried a few different face masks on for me. She got a warm towel to take them off my arms for me, and I legit felt like I was at a spa!! Deedee was so charismatic and you could tell she really knew her stuff and loved her job. My favorite Lush in the area! Everyone is so friendly, so informative and amazing! Today I stopped by to get a couple things out of whim- nothing in particular but to just add to my collection. I ended up with the salted coconut hand scrub, and the sleepy body lotion! Jessica helped me out with all my purchases today, as well as my mom's. She was so professional and so friendly while giving awesome suggestions for the both of us. She also gave us samples, demos, and whatnot. I had the most pleasant experience!! I ordered my items through the Lush app and used their new in-store pick-up option. Less than 24 hours from placing my order, I was notified my order was ready for pick-up within a 4-day window. The pick-up was fast and organized. All my items were ready and waiting in a marked bag when I arrived. The order pick-up was conducted at a table in the store's doorway and the employee at the table was masked and disinfected the table between customers. My bag with my order contained all the correct items I ordered and I was so pleased to find Lush included 6 mini samples and an additional full-size product! This is a testament to Lush's reputation for wonderful customer service and I will be ordering from them using in-store pick-up again. read more

I recently started using Lush products in April of this year, and now I can't imagine a life without them. I use Lush products to clear and prevent cystic acne, moisturize dry skin, and remove makeup. I love everything about this store, especially the customer service. Every time I go in, I am greeted by friendly, helpful staff members who go above and beyond to answer any my questions, provide suggestions, and offer samples. BE BETTER Customer service is 10 stars but I was really disappointed when my sons doctor told us to STOP using their colored products because the dye, although they are called "food grade" are still absorbed through the mucous membranes and *in her opinion of the dye* *made me feel* like It's the same as feeding my kid a bag of skittles or m&m's. So, I called and the staff was awesome and contacted corporate but still stated it was " food grade" and amounts " MAY BE MINIMAL " which isn't an educated statement but she tried to discuss possibilities so I appreciate it. But when I went online to look at what was actually in everything I was using I was Really disappointment.It really isn't as environmentally friendly or safe as it appears. And there have been other product safety companies that have looked into this. That you can research yourself. I love the concept but I can't continue to support a company that veils there products like this. I wish they just used vegetable based dye?! Dye have been known for many many years to be questionably unsafe and they keeping making new ones that are just as bad.... just use what's know as safe if you are claiming to be nature and handmade.By claiming its "food grade" you are misinforming customers who may not understand what they are buying. So sadly I won't be using this stuff anymore. LUSH Please be better. read more

Best part of today was coming into this store! I've been wanting to try lush for a very long time and finally took the plunge. I was wandering around the store for a few minutes just browsing all of the selections they offer since it was my first time there. Carina, a member of staff must have noticed the confused look on my face as I browsed the facial masques because she came up and asked if I needed assistance (I had a million and one questions, btw) CARINA WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!! Knew her stuff! Helped me pick out some awesome scrub and face masque for my sensitive/ combination skin. Made perfect suggestions for me without deterring me from products I said I wanted. I have been wanting to go to Valley Fair for some time now just to go to the Lush store, but didn't have time to go over there. I was surprised that a new location opened in Oakridge! The store was so pretty and well organized. The workers were all super helpful and happy to be there and helped my mom, sister, and I find some bath bombs, bubble bars, and bath melts. We were asked what type of scent we liked and then were further guided to various smells and types of bath soaps. Ready to take a relaxing luxurious bath now! My daughter has been asking and asking and asking for a Bath Bomb for a while now. So while at the mall this past Saturday with her and her friend they decided to go in to LUSH and have a look. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection and the price! Not bad at all. The Sales associate that helped us was awesome, She took notice of us right away and showed us how the bombs work. once the girls disbursed to find there new bath bombs, I noticed all the different items in the store, the sales associate once again helped me find lots of cool stuff! I'm really big on healthy hair, and she sold me on their shampoo, dry shampoo and a leave in treatment. All items fairly priced. I'm so excited to use my new items as is my daughter. I've always bought LUSH products as easy gifts for family and friends. I finally bought a shampoo/conditioner bar for myself and I am hooked! I'll never buy hair products from anywhere else ever again! I love that they don't use any chemicals that are tested on animals. YAY! Also, after washing my hair for the first time with a Godiva shampoo bar, I noticed that my hair smells amazing all day long. The perfume really sticks! The conditioner is a bit tricky to get used to but I'm sure I'll figure it out with practice. Can't wait to go back and try their skin products! I came into this Lush today to gab some bath bombs for a gift and literally 3 associates came up to me asking if I needed help. However they weren't pushy and walked away when I said I was browsing . To be honest, I love Lush products but have always hated the customer service. I've gone to probably 7 different lush stores over the years in various places in California and can't recall ever getting anything other than a hello. Which is odd because my friends that also shop there get treated well. This location was the first time I have been treated well and I felt that it was customer service that went above and beyond! Michael is who helped me and because of him I went and reset my password to my yelp account that I never use anymore just to write this review. I came in and asked him if they had a product that would help facial redness, I just moved to a warmer area and 100+ degree weather is making me all kinds of red. And he showed me three different products, explained to me what it was in the products that would help the redness. And he did a hand washing treatment thing with two of them and as I was looking at bath bombs a min later contemplating if I wanted to buy what he had showed me he walked up with samples of them so I could give them a real trial run. I didn't even have to ask! Thank you Michael for being so fantastic. And of course I am loving getting to try out these soaps! read more

The store was immaculate and I was thrilled with my experience. I came to the store wanting help finding the right skin care products for my dry and acne prone skin and left with the perfect set, but in small sizes and never felt pushed to buy anything. The customer service was so incredible from the moment I walked in- stark difference from when I visited the valley fair location and wasn't even greeted or helped at all. Carina and Ashley were both so welcoming and energetic. Ashley showed me an entirely new face regiment, and spent a lot of time to sit me down and show me every product and how it worked on my hand. She wasn't pushy about the sale at all, and really went through everything to make sure I was buying things that worked for me personally. I love this store! The products are amazing. I use their face wash, toner, and moisturizer. I also love their face masks! I love that their products are natural and that they give you small free samples to try at home if you like them. They aren't THAT expensive, except for the moisturizer! Their products help with my acne a lot. The thing that I don't like about lush is that the sales associates bombard you when you walk in. Like let me shop girl! I can understand that they might have to do that for new people because they don't know what the heck their products are about and they are a unique store. But if I say I wanna look around let me look around & don't come breathing on my back a minute later....lol sorry just venting. IF I NEED HELP I WILL ASK. I also don't like that their products don't have SPF.... which is understandable since they don't do animal testing... but that means I have to buy SPF elsewhere because I get burned from the sun!
