Had such a wonderful experience at Lush today! Came in looking for the Wicked Glinda body spray which is no longer being sold, but Robert helped me find some other scents I'd like according to my taste. The other staff, including another girl and the guy at the register, were also very helpful as well, I did not get their names. Absolutely the worst Customer Service. I've been buying lush since he beginning in London. I was looking for a particular body wash so I called .After being on hold for 15 or so minutes guy am n the phone and said We don't have it.So I asking they had a few more holiday bubble bars and he immediately said yes. so I go on bart fr the east bay caught a bus easily a 11/2 + commute each way only to get there an they actually didn't have the bubble bar I was after. The saes girl very rudely told me we haven't had those for several weeks. Then I looked around ND There on the shelf was many of the body washes he said theydint hae. Just bizarre. all the staff was hanging out with friends giggling and talking. I was never once acknowledged until I approached them . I was so irritated I actually put down everything I was going to buy and Left . I've never had a bad experience like hat at lush.a hi and a smile goes a long way. Honestly I don't know who gets more excited to come to Lush, my toddler or myself. We always have such a great experience in here. The staff is always so warm and welcoming. My little one is on the spectrum and loves water play, the staff always greet us and offer to play with a bath bomb. He especially enjoys to walk around and touch the shower jellies and smell all the soaps. We've been to another Lush location where someone once scolded him for touching one of the soaps which completely turned me off. This one happens to be our favorite location. I am a serious Lush junkie. I've been coming to this location since their downtown location closed during the pandemic. I'm always greeted with friendly smiles and offers of help. Very poor customer service, I was not greeted nor was I offered assistance. I'm a long time Lush customer so I knew what I wanted. Staff member who rang up my items was also unfriendly. The store looked very untidy, and poorly merchandised. I only purchased what I absolutely had to before a trip the next day. Lush is my favorite brand of clean hygiene! They're cruelty-free, vegan, and most importantly, work the best on my hair than any product. I had been dealing with a mystery issue with my hair and scalp where washing my hair with literally any kind of shampoo would make my hair greasy. I later discovered it was due to the soft water content in the Bay Area! So truly, the only brand of shampoo that would actually help my hair was Lush's Big volumizing shampoo because of the rock salt they add to it. I am forever grateful to Lush for literally saving my hair. read more

I went into to Lush because I wanted to treat myself with some Bath Bombs for Christmas. Knowing that the store was closing for the night in about 45 minutes I went in there and a gentleman by the name of Androgony Greeted me as I walked in he helped me to pick out the bombs that I really wanted. His personality was outstanding just what I needed after a long day of work and shopping. His customer service was the Bomb. He helped me with everything I needed. Came here on a whim looking for a new body wash. I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the different body washes and conditioners. Vinny came over to help me and walked me through his recommendations of compliment pairings and even did a demo at the sink with me. Vinny was knowledgeable and very kind. Did you know Lush does parties? I didn't either but I'm glad we found out about them right as we were starting to think about what to do for my daughter's 7th birthday party. We happened to be at another mall some months back when I saw a Lush party in action and thought what a fun idea for my daughter's party. And so I reached out to Stonestown which is our local mall and booked the date with 12 of my daughter's nearest and dearest. We worked with Vinny when planning out the party and he was nothing short of amazing from the initial call to the day of. When planning, he was very thorough in explaining what we should expect and was very flexible. We dropped by and got to select the specific bath bomb the girls were going to make and the items the guests were going to take home. She went with the Toby's Magic Cow and she got to sample it. My daughter enjoyed the popping crackly sounds as it dissolved into colors as soon as it is dropped into the water and the citric aroma that filled the air. Another plus is that they are cruelty free and made with natural ingredients. Ryn was also there to help out on the day of and she was equally as wonderful. The party couldn't have gone any better and it was all because of Vinny and Ryn. We had snacks, cupcakes and my daughter even put together her own playlist to be played. The girls had the best time making bath bombs together and playing games and got to have the entire store to their selves as the event took place prior to the mall opening for the day. I believe you can also schedule parties after hours, too. All the parents who attended thought the party was so much fun. They too had no idea Lush hosted parties. The girls were continuing to buzz about it throughout the day and were excited to use the bath bombs they made. My daughter was gifted a few additional goodies and she is so excited to try them. After the party, she said up to that point, was one of the best days of her life. I highly recommend a Lush event here at Stonestown. read more

I swear, the friendliest people in Stonestown Mall work here and the typo store. I have been to several Lush' and sometimes the employees at other ones can be a little pushy towards the product, but not here. They find the right balance and have always been really helpful. Every Lush I have been to has always had knowledgeable staff and I have used the same products for my skin for years thanks to the suggestion of a staff member. This is the store I make a special trip to every other month to refill my skin care and I always leave feeling a little happier. When I show them a problematic area, they always have the right solution. I rarely stray from my routine, but every once in a while my anxiety makes my skin break out and I need a little extra care. The only complaint is that the self preserving Vanishing Cream was just too altered to do the same job as the original. As long as you are making the original, then I am good. read more

This is seasonal which is kind of like PSL because you can't buy it and save it. Vegan stuff from here goes bad after a considerable amount of time and really - who wants crap touching your skin that is so toxic it never spoils? Not this girl with absurdly soft skin. The bubblegum lip scrub is a must for me especially during the winter months when my lips are so dry, wearing all day matte lip color becomes painful. I love gifting stuff from Lush for Christmas. I normally don't frequent this store, but my friend wanted to go in, so I went in, assuming I'd just be browsing yet to my surprise left feeling so much better than when I came in.
