It is time to finally update my review for this store. I have been a very loyal customer for years, but I can not buy from a store that charges me and then fails to uphold their dues. Twice have I tried to receive "same day delivery" from this store and both have failed. And no reason was given. I ordered when the store had just opened, so I should be able to receive it by 7/8 pm at night. NOT the case both times. And then to get charged for it is not okay.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dupeola at Sephora, and I can confidently say she's not just a sales associate--she's a certified skincare sage. (I think she has a degree in "skin-care-ology" or some kind of magical credential, because her knowledge is next-level.) Dupeola gently but brilliantly helped me realize that my daily exfoliation routine--something I thought was helping--was actually aging my skin. She explained that the lines I was seeing weren't wrinkles, but signs of dryness. That insight alone changed everything. She took the time to design a personalized skincare routine tailored to my skin's actual needs, not just trends or product hype. I left with products I'm genuinely excited about, and more importantly, with clarity and confidence about how to care for my skin. If you're at Sephora and lucky enough to cross paths with Dupeola, trust me--listen, learn, and let her guide you. She's a skincare whisperer, and I'm so grateful for her wisdom.

I went exclusively to the Sephora store at Powell in San Francisco to purchase the #NatashaDenona foundation, since the app showed it as available for pickup. However, the foundation was not on the shelt--only other products from the brand were displayed. After some time, staff confirmed they had it in the back storage but had not placed it on the sales floor. The most concerning part is that, for a new foundation, they did not offer shade testing and couldn't even say when it would be available on the shelf for customers to try. It is unacceptable that the app shows availability when in reality customers cannot test or receive proper guidance. In the end, l got no clear answers, and the whole experience was frustrating. I don't know if the issue lies with Sephora, the app, or the Natasha Denona brand itself, but it came across as unprofessional and made me seriously reconsider purchasing this product.

Stared at a cashier and no help was given. Terrible service here. Makes it difficult to support shops and makes you want to buy on Amazon.

You'll find currently trendy products like snail secretion skin care, hair curlers, bb cream, cc cream, etc. Most of the beauty products (skin care, cosmetics) are from Korea, from brands like Etude House, Toly Moly, and Skinfood. They can also pre-order items from those lines. The Milk Talk body lotion smells like milkshakes. Expect to find really cute packaging but not a lot of English on the packaging. There are testers of most of the beauty products. The shop is tiny but crammed full of clothes, lingerie, stockings, shoes, scarves, purses, jewelry, iPhone accessories and makeup. Not everything has a price but the things that had prices were very reasonably priced. The clothes and accessories are in the $20-$30 range. Some of it was cute - especially if you are a girly girl who likes bows, ribbons, ruffles, lace and faux fur (e.g., faux fur bras). However the material is predominantly synthetic. I couldn't figure out the sizes of some items. The shoes all look small, size 6 small. The skirts are super short. They have iPhone bumpers with Hello Kitty bows, iPhone cases that look like Dior nailpolish bottles I received a free sample and very courteous service. My picks: * Baby Milo iPhone screen protectors for iPhone 5 ($10) * Hello Kitty bow style iPhone bumpers for iPhone 4 * Etude House strawberry lip cream ($6, smells wonderful) * Pocket bunny moist mist - love the bunny packaging

Neither of us wear makeup on a regular basis, and my techniques were stuck in 2008 lol. So the class was a much needed refresher on current makeup trends. I really like all the products I purchased, though my partner picked up some duds (bad packaging, dry product) so in the future, we will make sure everything is working properly before the return window lapses, because these products are not cheap!

"Beauty is skin deep"…read more Japan and Korea are the leaders in innovative skincare so it makes sense that many women gravitate to Asian brands. Longtime Japanese luxury brand Shiseido has been creating well loved skincare and cosmetics since 1872. I ran out of eye cream so I tried some at a Korean brand shop that I like. It was fine, but not what I am used to. I am accustomed to skincare that my skin quickly "drinks" opposed to feeling waxy on the surface of my skin. If I have to pat the product for absorption over an extended period of time - it isn't worth it. I was walking out of the Japantown "mall" to get fresh mochi across the street when I saw the awning to this shop with Shiseido products prominently displayed in the window. I asked for eye cream. I was shown their options. I used one option she showed me for a year until it was empty (thats why I was there). I tried different products I was curious about as well. 10 minutes in the shop and I was out of there! The ladies who assisted me were professional, courteous, and helpful with answering my questions. I didn't feel pressured to try or buy anything more than what I wanted. This shop sells another brand - but I wasn't interested. My sensitive skin loves the eye cream. The jar is enough to last about half a year - so consider that along with the effectiveness and voila - it was a great deal! I am thankful for my fuss free purchase. I will return when my balancing elixir runs out.
