They do have music playing to match its appearance. The service is excellent. The food quality is good. The price is on the steep side. Crabby Crab Scramble ($32) is good, has good amount of crab meat and lots of celery. It has a unique taste compared to other scrambles. The price is what gets me to a 4 out of 5. French toast with fresh fruit ($18). To me, it didn't seem to have enough egg within the French toast. So the ratio of egg vs bread wasn't doing it for me. This is our second time coming here and I love the set up they have. It feels like a fancy restaurant but with such a casual vibe. Both time we have been here the owners and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I love the food presentation. And the quality is superb. The steak and eggs - were tasty and excellent quality. The food was very decent, and the service was good as well. However, I feel the pricing is much too high for the location. The prices are nearly double what I would expect to pay at other Thai restaurants, while the restaurant is located right next to a grocery store doesn't really match the price. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food and service were good, but the price makes it difficult to justify dining here regularly. My suggestion would be to consider moving to a better location, such as a nice shopping center. I really enjoy visiting Lungo Thai Eatery. The food here is delicious and packed with so much flavor. We ordered the yellow curry and pad thai and both were amazing. This Thai restaurant is a little more on the pricey side but their dishes really make it worth it. The customer service here is great everyone was friendly and would check up on us. Whoa! First time here at Lingo Thai Eatery. Truthfully, I was not in the mood for Thai, but I was so delighted eating here, I did not mind at all! We started offing from their lunch menu (their dinner menu has different offerings, as they bring in more chefs for dinner) with an order of samosas - crusty shell and moist potatoes seasoned just right, and the coconut curry which had a good balance of sweetness and a bit of spice was delicious! My wife and I shared a Lamb Shank Massaman (that was one thick shank of lamb!) while my daughter, who was famished, ordered the Steak and Eggs! I enjoyed the crispy vegetables inside the curry - the medley of potatoes and carrots were crisp on the outside and so tender on the inside , and the crunch added a nice texture to the meal. I noticed that the seasoning included star anise. As much as I stay away from anise, there was no licorice taste at all. Rather, the spice blended well within the tasty curry. Bravo! My daughter did well in eating those steak and eggs! The steak was tender and served medium rare. The "medley" of potatoes as listed in the menu, however, were steak fries instead. My daughter did not mind, but for those expecting a medley of different colored potatoes may be disappointed. The steak fries, were, however, excellent! Most likely double-fried, they were extra crispy on the outside, and steaming hot on the inside! Delicious! The eggs, served however one specifies, consists of three eggs, scrambled, but formed in a nice solid brick, with all of the fluffiness and delicate-ness of a cotton ball - just so yummy! Wow! Kudos given here! We were absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal. The waitperson, I assume was the owner, was bright and cheerful, and throughout the meal was very attentive and helpful. Thai fusion brunch. I'd probably come back to try their dinner option. I got their crab scramble. The scramble egg was just okay, sauce wasn't memorable either. I did really like the medley potatoes though. We had asked for them to make the dish spicy, the waitress said it was doable, but there was nothing spicy on my plate at all. I noticed afterward (while leaving) that they actually have Tabasco sauce as condiment. Not sure why they didn't offer us that. With that said, the meal did fill me up. Lungo Thai Eatery is located inside a strip mall, in between Walgreens and Smart and Final on El Camino and Grant, across from BMW of Mountain View. Parking was plentiful in the private strip mall lot. Lungo serves Thai-American brunch and Thai-American dishes. Started off with their signature pad thai crispy tiger prawns and it was quite tasty. The prawns were gigantic and plentiful. The pad thai itself was Americanized and quite sweet, unlike the traditional Thai version. Moved on the samosas and they were decent. The lamb shank curry was tasty as this was served with a zesty hot roti. The lamb shank seemed to be reheated as parts of it were still cool. Most of the lamb shank was quite tender though. The curry was tasty too. Ended off the meal with the mango sticky rice which was decent. I went for Sunday brunch with a friend right before 11 am. We were seated right away and didn't have a reservation. The servers were attentive and quick and we finished eating in less than an hour. Both of us ordered the chicken satay Benedict for $24, and it was amazing. Definitely the star of the show, and I would go back specifically for this dish. The peanut sauce went very well and it didn't feel as heavy as a normal hollandaise sauce. My friend and I wished they gave more of it or even offered a small cup to dip into. The side of potatoes were also delicious, crispy in the outside and soft on the inside. I'm not sure if any of the other dishes are as good as this Benedict. Most of the other items looked pretty standard. The prices are a little on the average to more expensive side. It's a very spacious restaurant that can fit a good amount of people. My friend found this place and we were intrigued by the concept of the Thai fusion brunch! It is located in the shopping plaza with Smart n Final and Nijiya. They have tables for big groups. We tried: Chicken Satay Benedict- yummy and moist satay style chicken with your typical eggs benedict and hollandaise sauce. Done very well. I appreciate when places serve the side of potatoes using the rainbow ones- the purple, regular, and sweet. That extra detail always adds more for me. Banana Tub Pancake- 3 or 4 ricotta pancakes with a caramelized banana and palm sugar/coconut syrup. These were good. I think I prefer regular maple syrup with my pancakes instead of the palm sugar/coconut syrup though. Lungo Fries- steak fries with melted cheese and peanut sauce. Pretty good, never had fries with peanut sauce before, but now I'm thinking, why haven't I??? It's yummy ! They are family friendly and their kid's brunch menu is a pancake with eggs and bacon $12. My friends tried: Massaman Lamb Shank (see pic, very impressive looking)- super tender, almost drinkable and delicious curry sauce Crabby Omelette- real crab ! Apparently the green sauce that comes with this is amazing (per my friend) Lungo benedict (pork jowl!)- you don't see pork jowl being offered with an eggs benedict like... ever! This is a new eatery and I came for the lamb shank massaman. It was a slow braised lamb shank in a thick creamy sauce made with cinnamon, anise, and cashews. Perfect with the roti for my son. My husband and I stopped by for brunch today and we were warmly welcomed at the door. I immediately noticed the beautiful and thoughtful decor. It somehow felt trendy, but home-y at the same time. The menu had some great options and we decided on the crab omelette and the steak and eggs. Before the food even came out, my husband and I were already planning excuses to come back. I mentioned this would be a great place for a birthday dinner. Their lunch menu looked really good too. When the food came out, it was very beautifully plated and delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. The tricolored potatoes were nice and crispy and the omelette was evenly cooked and flavorful. Oh, and the green sauce that came with it was so good! I want to know what it is! My husband enjoyed his steak and eggs too(they give you 3 eggs here which I feel like is more than they give you elsewhere). Lots of parking on this side of the center. The new clean interior setup is table, bench and counter seating. There were two other parties and I was seated immediately and given what looks like a temporary menu with somewhat limited selections. I ordered the yellow beef curry at the spiciest level. The thin sauce had a good coconut flavor and the beef was both tender and chewy, indicating some kind of mechanical tenderization. It was spicy but not unbearable. Service was attentive and fast. It is really hard to find a good massaman curry in the area which doesn't taste like someone emptied out a jar of Skippy peanut butter, and added chilies to it. Lungo's lamb shank massaman curry is rich with peanut and cashew flavors. I like seeing the large spices, cinnamon, anise, mixed in the sauce with the vegetables. It is a very rich dish that comes with roti but no rice. You have to order rice separately. Reflecting on the experience I think I would like to have just a little bit of acid on the side, like some ajad or a slice of lime, just cut thru the richness. The "panini" is a nice hot sandwich. The bread is toasted but did not see the inside of a press. It's good, but I think it would be even better with a panini crunch. They reno'ed the space zebra theme. Cool Thai breakfast concept while also serving elevated modern non-breakfast Thai dishes! For breakfast menu items, my boyfriend and I tried the Satay Chicken Benedict, Pancake Banana Tub, Wedge Salad, and Lungo Fries. The star of the breakfast items and the entire meal was the Satay Chicken Benedict. The Satay flavor was strong, the chicken and egg was cooked to perfection, and the flavors meshed so well. The banana pancakes were light and not overly sweet which I appreciated. I loved the fries themselves in the lungo fries which were thick steak fries, but I found the peanut sauce to be slightly too sweet and overpowering; I think a smaller amount of sauce would be more ideal. The wedge salad was refreshing & great if you love blue cheese (which I unfortunately do not). After 11AM, they also serve regular Thai dishes, so we had the yellow chicken curry and Pad Thai with Crispy Tiger Prawns. The yellow curry was delicious but a bit too sweet. I enjoyed the tiger prawns in the Pad Thai, but I also found the sauce to be too sweet. Overall, the food here is very well prepared and uniquely crafted, but a common issue I noticed was the sweetness of some dishes. Youngest took us here to celebrate Father's Day. Was a spur of the moment thing given we are having dinner with all the kids but she wanted to do something special so we came here for brunch. AND I'm SO HAPPY we did. Luckily it wasn't too busy and we were able to get seated. Service is pretty nice and even though they were full with only a few empty tables, there was only 2 servers who was taking orders and bringing food to everyone and making the drinks. So it was a little wait but they are so nice and attentive when they can it was fine. First thing I have to mention is their adorable plates. All different with different flowers. Really set the mood and it was cozy and adorable. Had to take pics of the plates :) We went family style (again cause we are planning a big dinner later) and started with the Lungo Greens which is mixed greens with house dressing. I forgot to ask for dressing on the side so it came fully dressed. BUT we were okay with it as the house dressing is blue cheese dressing. NOT what we were expecting for a thai place. But it comes with a delicious warm bread which is an excellent accompaniment with the salad. Great way to start our food adventure! We then got the Lungo Benedict which has a special chili paste hollandaise with grilled pork jowl. The pork jowl was so tender and was delicious. And I LOVE that the hollandaise was sparse cause there was this special chili paste that added so much flavor to the whole dish and of course with the perfectly poached egg that broke and gave perfect creaminess. The English muffin was toasted and crispy which gave great texture. We got it with their potatoes which were AMAZING. Different kinds of potatoes that are not greasy - crispy on the outside and so light and fluffy on the inside... Not sure how they do it - with no flavoring so you really enjoy the potato taste which is even better when you use their chili paste and hollandaise sauce. Perfect potato bites!! We also got the Satay Chicken Panini that we ordered with salad and it's the same salad as the Lungo Greens so we were VERY happy. The Satay Chicken was tender, juicy and so flavorful. They do NOT skip on that peanut flavor - it was SO GOOD. They don't put the ajard into the sandwich - it's skewered on top of the sandwich. I do wish they provided more of the ajard but even without it the sandwich was so good. They use a wheat ciabatta? And it's crispy and yet soft - easy to eat. SO MUCH flavor. Just these three dishes we were stuffed. Cleaned all the plates. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. I was eyeing the griddle and definitely want to try their crabby crab scramble.... After my car wash, I was really craving some good breakfast and some nice coffee. When I looked up restaurants without any context, Lungo, a tie breakfast fusion restaurant popped up. To my luck it was open at 11 AM so I immediately checked in to the restaurant around 11:26 AM. The gentleman assisted me with a table immediately as I walked in. He was very friendly and greeted me with some sort of 'melo' excitement. I might be his first customer of the day! Even if I wasn't, cause his reaction was pleasant. The place seemed pretty new. Decorations are fresh and restaurant is fairly clean. They also have a very nice bar set up, which makes me want to come out here during dinner hours and grab a nice cocktail if they have any. Although as I'm typing this, I'm noticing that there's no alcohol on the shelves so maybe they don't do cocktails after all lol. The chicken wings were literally delicious. Had a touch of Thai street food which I adored. The wings came with a side of plum sauce, which I am truly enjoyed. Ok now the show stopper... Pork jowl Benedict. For an appetizer tried the oh my wings and for dinner we tried the crispy Branzino and the Tom Kah soup which is a coconut soup with chicken. First, you gotta try their house made chili crisp oil. It's the best and not spicy. Branzino was spectacular. De-boned, clean and crispy while the meat was delicate. Soup was so so. Served in that attractive, but inconvenient to get soup out of metal hot pot, with no sterno heater. Better to just serve in a big bowl. Also, kind of expensive and not enough chicken for the price. The portion was generous and the spice level was just right for us. We also tried a noodle soup recommended by our server. It was a hit of the night. New place open less than a month currently soft opening phase! The place looks super nice inside and the owner and his brother are so nice! We got the padseeew as well as red curry and they were delicious! I was a little sad because the rice portion for $3 seemed a little small so we had to order an additional rice for the portion of curry we got. The red curry was good and mild but we didn't get asked the spice level. Those that want spice may need to ask if it can be added OR add your own chili. I was also sad to see they didn't have a panang since that's my fav but we tried the red curry instead. The pad see ew was also delicious - I just wish there was more since it's a tad bit pricier than the others in the area. We tried the pineapple fried rice with a thai tea and while it may be some of the most expensive fried rice I have ever had, it is also possibly the best fried rice I've ever had. Overall a fantastic experience, 3rd time in the last few weeks. Their lamb shank massaman was extraordinary, they do a delicate roasting and get the maillard effect going for the meat.
