Highly recommend Lundy Solar. Wyndon was a pleasure to work with: he was transparent, super responsive, and hands on. I received several other quotes to replace our roof, and add solar panels and a battery. Lundy had competitive prices and it didn't feel I was getting scammed. The process was seamless, I was kept in the loop, and Wyndon worked super hard to meet deadlines. read more

Wyndon installed a huge system on my newly constructed house in Sunnyvale. It consists of 52 solar panels and 8 Powerwall batteries roughly split into 2 equal halves as my house has dual electric meters due to an ADU. Wyndon worked on the whole design with me including placement of the panels. He finished the project on time and then helped me get the PG&E NEM connections. The system passed inspection in one shot. His quote was very similar to Tesla which I didn't use after hearing many horror stories. Currently the system is working as expected and not only have I zero electric bills, I do not take any electricity from PG&E, just feed them back the excess. I recommend Wyndon and his team wholeheartedly. read more

After speaking with other solar installation companies, we decided to go with Lundy Solar and Roofing... and we are so glad we did! The process was smooth, the communication was quick, and the installation was top notch! The icing on the cake was when the inspectors came and told us that "the solar panel installation was the best" that they've seen. When I asked why they said this, they said that the panels were not drilled into the roof tiles, and that we would never have to worry about a damaged roof or leaks. Those words were very reassuring and definitely gives us peace of mind. Working with Wyndon, Michelle and their crew was a pleasure. Even after the install, we received excellent support and all our questions were answered. We highly recommend them! read more

Although I did not end up doing my roof with Lundy they were my first choice! ( decided to go with a friend) I have to say that the owner and his wife were wonderful to communicate with, and the prices were very competitive! I would definitely recommend them and will probably work with them in the future. read more

Hi cant say enough about the outstanding customer service and the high quality work that was done to my house even after words have some small things and Wyndon came back no hassles no problems and took care of them which now a days is unheard of So Thank You so much read more

Called to fix some of the silicone flashing on my chimney flute for my house out in Albany, and they ended up charging me $650 for literally around 15 minutes of work. They then (imo) misrepresented the work as roof repair to justify the costs. read more

Wyndon and Michelle with Lundy Solar and Roofing are a great company and people. Very responsive and clear communication thus make it a pleasure to work with. Their pricing was extremely competitive that we were able to go with a higher quality shingle. The crew was clean, quick and did quality work. They installed all new flashing for vents, skylights and chimney as well as new gutter screens. My wife and I are very pleased and would highly recommend. Thanks again! Jesse & Laura read more

Wyndon and his team replaced our roof and installed solar for us recently. Everything went smoothly, from first contact til when they picked up supplies. They were really great to work with, communicated progress often, and worked with our schedules when they needed us. Great covid protocols as well - Wyndon always talked to us outside with a mask on. Everything looks fantastic and we're very happy with the results. Highly recommend them! read more

We hired Lundy Solar and Roofing to replace our roof this summer. They are very knowledgeable, thorough, and reasonably priced roofers. Both Wyndon and Michelle made the process of roof replacement very smooth, hassle free, clean and efficient. After the roof teardown, Wyndon identified several potential issues with existing structure and helped us protect the roof against elements. He was also proactive in suggesting some improvements that we signed up for because of his thorough explanations. Dealing with the permit process with city of Fremont was also a breeze. We will definitely hire them for any future needs. I recommend this company highly! read more

Overall, we were happy with the effort and I would recommend Lundy Solar and Roofing Co. Wyndon, Michelle, and team ("Lundy") re-roofed (GAF shingles), upgraded the electrical to 200A, and installed solar (LG with Enphase microinverters). They did the legwork with the permits, interfaced with the county building inspectors, and performed the necessary activities (e.g. applications with PG&E) to get the system released and approved by PG&E. At the completion of the project, they provided us a binder with copies of the paperwork, permits and solar panel datasheets and drawings. Note worthy things: Work progress communication; appreciate Wyndon following COVID protocols (also had a portable potty parked in front) and flexibility when the roofing inspector had a last minute cancellation; he was negotiable with our budget; he also threw in the roof ridge installation and additional O'Hagin roof vent without additional charge; cosmetically, he painted the stainless steel electrical roof conduit to match the roof shingle color. Timeline wise. The de-roof took half day, roofing (with at least 6 guys on the roof) with 3 sun tunnel installations occurred on one day, electrical upgrade one day, and the solar install took 3 days. Scheduling PG&E work to disconnect the power took one month due to PG&E availability; inspections took days (I forgot the actual number) due to inspector availability; and PG&E application/system activation took two weeks (finalized end of 2020). As an aside: CA requires signatories (btw consumer and solar installer) of the CA Solar Consumer Protection guide (https://www.cpuc.ca.gov/solarguide/) prior to signing a solar contract where it requires, for example, the consumer to get at least 3 bids. With taxes, we got a rebate from the government for solar installation. read more

Lundy provides good quality work with competitive price! In my case, I request Lundy to do reroofing, and solar panels installation for my house in Pleasanton. The work for reroofing was very neat, and I don't have to worry about anything. They clean up all the stuff after the installation. Solar installation in my area is a little bit challenging, however, Lundy handles all the design and negotiations with the city government. Again, I don't have to worry about anything. Wyndon(the owner) tries to do as much as he can. He always explains the details in an easy to understand way, and makes sure we're always on the same page. During the solar panel final review, he realized there are some areas of my house needs to be painted, and even they're irrelevant to the roof/solar installation, he did that for me. I really appreciate all the works they have done! The whole process was amazing, and I would definitely recommend Lundy to everyone!! read more

This company has the best customer service in the area. After reviewing several solar companies, I ended up selecting Lundy Solar and Roofing. They were referred to me by a coworker who also used them for his house. Wyndon (owner) did a great job installing my solar panels and he provided several roof layouts to pick from. I'm happy to report that today (two years after initial installation) we have produced 41 Mega Watt Hours from 27 panels (300W each) with Enphase micro inverters. I definitely don't miss my old $350 PG&E monthly bill, and I love the monthly Enphase custom report calculating my system's positive impact on the environment. I highly recommend Lundy Solar and Roofing to anyone looking for a high quality product and great installation. Very clean work and left no debris. Price was reasonable and Wyndon worked hard to meet my budget without sacrificing quality. Wyndon was always there to answer our questions even months after the work was done while we were getting acquainted with our new system. Five-star company with very friendly customer service. read more

Could not have been happier with using Lundy Solar and Roofing Co. We had our flat roof redone followed by solar installation and they did a fantastic job. Working with Wyndon and Michelle was a pleasure as they were always responsive, happy to answer questions, very professional and handled every facet of the process. Their workers were respectful and conscientious and the job site was always left clean and tidy at the end of the day. We would highly recommend them to anyone - you can't go wrong with both the value and finished product! read more

Wyndon and Michelle were excellent to work with. They were great communicating what needs to be done, how they are going to do it, and also the timelines. We recently redid our roof with shingles and are completely satisfied. What impressed me most was the cleanliness around their work. Everyday the work was clean with no residue on the ground around the house. One day Wyndon even picked the last bits of pieces on the ground when he saw my kids playing outside. The work itself is very neat and aesthetically pleasing. Wyndon would email photos of day's work or proposed work for our approval. Michelle worked with city to coordinate inspection and everything worked out great. I would highly recommend their team. read more

Wyndon and crew did such an awesome job with our roofing! Helpful, respectful, on time and best quote of the four contractors we had come out. Very happy we chose Lundy Roofing/Solar. Referred another friend who was also ecstatic and had solar panels installed. We're now looking into it and maybe have a few panels installed as well. read more

I recently used Lundy Roofing for a re-roofing job. Extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism by the team. Co-ordination was perfect and everything went as planned. I was happy with the execution of the work and the timeline. Very methodical with providing updates and confirming changes to the contract based on new findings. Wyndon was great to work with and I was happy that I chose Lundy Solar for my roofing needs. I would most certainly recommend them for any roofing job. It was a stress free experience. read more

We are thrilled that we just got PG&E's approval to begin using our solar energy system installed by Lundy Solar and Roofing Co. We are also extremely happy with the roof that they replaced for us. Wyndon and Michelle were very helpful in providing us with the information we needed to undertake the roofing and solar energy projects. Everything went smoothly according to plan and was done very efficiently thanks to Wyndon. The pricing was competitive which was the initial reason we chose them but they also offered great work and service which we appreciate very much. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone looking to replace their roof and/or installing a solar energy system. read more

I needed a variety of things done on my roof: replace a number of broken tiles, dry rot in a barge rafter, and lay a couple hundred feet of gutter covers. I got a number of estimates from highly reviewed roofing companies - and ended up with a number of high estimates. Lundy stood out both in their reasonable bid and also willingness to take on all aspects (in particular - somehow gutter covers scared a couple companies away). Not only that, they were willing to work with our own supplied gutter covers. As the scheduled day approached, Wyndon and Michelle worked through the details and plans to drop off materials. They arrived on time, completed all the work in a timely manner, and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, we are very happy with the value of the work. Moreover, they are very friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely stick with them the next time we have roofing work to do! read more

When our building needed a new roof, our homeowners association went through an extensive selection process before deciding on Lundy Solar.  Because it is such a huge expenditure, the HOA board spent a lot of time and effort interviewing companies, comparing costs, taking online customer reviews under consideration, and conducting meetings with the homeowners to make sure we were all in agreement with the decision.  End result - we have a new roof, and we're very happy with the work.  Wyndon and his team showed up in the middle of shelter-in-place, wore masks at all times, and were very respectful - a random thing to notice about service providers but this stood out in my mind.  Upon completion, there were a few problem areas that still needed attention, but the company showed up immediately and took care of it.  Both Wyndon and Michelle were super responsive and pleasant to work with.  Highly recommend Lundy Solar. read more

What a great outfit. Bid was reasonable, change orders were reasonable. All showed up on time, professional, all are nice folks. Great job. Very responsive via phone text end email. Slight gripe: I added gutter cleaning, which next time I would ask be done with a vacuum, instead of a blower. Blowing left a mess of orange tile dust in my yard and on the nieghbor's cars. But, of course, maybe not cleaning them in 15 years is my fault! read more

Best of the Best Our roofing was professionally done. We were able to get the color and the materials we wanted for our roof and the estimate of days to do the job were are all time. Wyndon, manager of the roofing company was easy to talk too and we were able to get a great price deal. I did my research for roofing prices and the kind of materials, Lundy Roofing Company was the best on all accounts. You can count of them. I've been recommending them to my friends and family who are all quite satisfied too. read more

My original installer went under. My inverter went bad and need to be replaced. Other installers, including some recommended in the solaredge website, were either too busy, or only work on their own customer installations. Lundy not only took on the job, but did it in a timely and professional fashion. Thumbs up. read more

Wyndon and David did an excellent job on my panel installation. There was even some conduit that he did not install but he still painted to match the conduit he did install. read more

We had a above par experience working with Lundy Solar. They were forthcoming with information, gave clear guidance, were knowledgable about the different options for panels and inverters gave clear pros and cons, navigated the Palo Alto City requirements, permitting and inspection process. Came back to touch up and repair all penetrations and paint. The process was prompt and straightforward. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

If you have any solar and/or roofing needs, these are the people to deal with! Their work is excellent-- from choosing the product, to installation, cleanup, and cost. Wyndon and Michelle are wonderful to work with and very knowledgable. When I was trying to decide the roofing color, they gladly brought multiple color samples to my home & provided me with addresses of homes to look at. My husband hired them to install solar at his work place; his experience was equally excellent. If you have any roofing or solar needs, this is the company to choose! read more
