I again got the steak Fajitas (I like a sure thing), my wife ordered the sampler and was happy with the dish although thought the pork was dry and was a served little cold. The margarita was much better than the last time with less ice and more drink. Bobbi was our waitress and was very pleasant and informative. A very nice dining experience. We will return. read more

I've been twice so far and will keep coming back. I've had a few dishes from the tapas menu and the fajitas. I loved the shrimp tacos and the fajitas. It's a newer establishment so the service seems to still be working out a few kinks. The last time I was there they had forgotten my soup completely and I had to have it as take away. Overall, the menu features some great options. The salsa is flavorful and has a nice kick. I'm looking forward to exploring the menu in upcoming visits. read more

We eat here on the normal and last night the manager Jorge was awful. The last few times we received less tortillas for the fajitas than we are suppose to get with it. So this time we not only told them hey can you make sure we get the right amount of tortillas but we also paid for extra. We were assured they were all there. Go back to the car nope not the right amount go back in wait 10 min to be acknowledged and to get the missing tortillas. Meanwhile our food is getting cold. Get home we received none of the setups for the fajitas and quesadillas. Go back to get the setups and the manager was so rude and proceeded to say that we were wrong and we did not pay for extra tortillas and we showed him the receipt. To be rude when you forgot the tortillas and then the setups for all the meals and we had to drive back to get them. Then to tell a customer they are wrong nonetheless (which we were not) and be so nasty to your customers especially customers who eat there on the normal and spend a lot at your restaurant is not a business I want to go back to. We did not ask for anything but what we paid for when we went back in for a second time and were spoken to so rudely for coming in asking for our missing items. The owners commented saying they will look into it and get back to us still no response from a month ago! I guess they think it is ok for their managers to speak so rudely to their customers. Shows they do not care about their customers. We have not been back since this happened and I will tell everyone I know about the awful experience here and continue not to support this business! read more

I really like this place. It's right by my house and the service and food is always good. I've never waited long to get my food and all the servers are super nice. I get the chorizo street tacos almost every time and they're delicious and so are their re fried black beans. They can be authentic Mexican or more Tex mex which I really like. read more

Finally! We really enjoyed our meal out tonight (Monday evening), we were seated right away and had a professional friendly server & very tasty food. This was our second visit to this restaurant. The first was "OK". The second visit was tonight and was not good at all. Our waiter was fantastic even though it was his second day on the job and new nothing about the menu. The food cam out very fast and both of our meals were cold. Rice tasted like it was out of the refrigerator and thew beans were like they were setting on the prep bench -luke warm!! I had Enchilados that were the same "luke warm". No problem ---- we decided to take the meals home heat them up and eat them later. Then the bill came $51.45 and I gave the waiter (2) $50.00 dollar bills and I was asked "how much change do yo want"? to which i replied "all of it " and I will leave you a tip!! The waiter could not make change and i was told that there was no cash register and that the waiters/ waitresses had to"Bank Roll" their own tables????? I have never heard anything so ridiculous!!!! We finally got that worked out but we will never be back!! There are WAY too many restaurants in this area to put up with that. --- And Hot food to boot!!!! read more

LunaZul is a great New Mexican / Tex-Mex restaurant in Hampstead. I love their food and menu. So much so that I used them recently to hold 4 work group lunches for 30-40 people. Cheri and Christina were great to work with and put on excellent buffets for me. I will definitely go back for personal meals soon! read more

One of my new favorite places.. I have been here 3 times this month. Atmosphere is great, great food and great margaritas. Excellent, authentic Mexican food! The menu is extensive including appetizers, salads/soups, tapas, and entree dishes. I ordered the tostada and the beef stew tapas at the recommendation of our waiter, and they were absolutely amazing. I will most certainly be making the hour+ drive back. read more

I went to LunaZul probably within the first two weeks of the grand opening. I understand that the first few weeks could be hard. Overall the service was good, but it seemed to take more time to get our food than needed. I was with two other people, and we all ordered rather small food items. It took about 35-45 minutes to get our food. The food however was fantastic and I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Third time here. First time was carry out not long after they opened. Was taken aback when I asked if complementary chips came with the orders. They don't. I have ordered takeout at numerous Mexican restaurants in the local areas as well as elsewhere and chips are always included. I ordered and paid for the chips ($2). Second time was dine-in for lunch and the experience was pleasant ... not crowded, thus good service. Just ordered take out again this afternoon. I again asked about the chips as I honestly thought maybe they worked out this "glitch" and last time was a fluke. Again was told they needed to be purchased, but this time was told $5. This time I was frankly shocked and admit that I almost cancelled the entire order and would have gone elsewhere if not for the fact that my daughter was waiting on it. I declined the chips (who would pay $5 for a small bag of plain chips when most places charge $7/8/9 dollars for a large portion of loaded nachos? Each time, the food was ok - nothing special but ok for the area. In my opinion, the prices are high for the portions. For instance, the elote asado is good (not great compared to authentic Mexican corn) but a little pricey at $6 for one small ear of corn. The plantains are really good, however, this third time, the portions were really small and lacked the sour cream. As another reviewer noted, they were out of take out menus. I would have thought they would have restocked by now, but judging from my take out experiences, perhaps take out is not a priority. As others have noted, it's an okay place when you're local and don't feel like traveling far, however, for me, I'd rather drive an extra 10/15 minutes and go to Cinco. Sad to say that their ridiculous chips policy lost a customer. read more
