I'm a connoisseur of crab cakes and I go all around the area to try the best and though these were jumbo lump with no filler, I expected them to be quite a bit larger. That's probably the only negative of the evening. I contemplated dessert but I was pretty full. My date got the crab dip which was really big and looked really good and the steak quesadillas. She said everything tasted delicious. Our server was fantastic and she took care of all of our needs and kept checking on us regularly. The food and service are amazing and has been like that for years, that's why we keep going back. Everyone knows everyone's name and it is a home town favorite and our goto spot. Otherwise it's definitely a small town very white crowd. They had karaoke on Friday night and for the group of people there, not a lot of people wanted to sing so we had a lovely time singing karaoke. The service is great. Jordan is the owner and my friends knew him from growing up around the area. overall really friendly crowd despite it being very small town and also there were a lot of young kids because again the college is there. I wouldn't come here unless I had something else nearby but the karaoke was really fun. I don't know if they have food here cause we had already eaten, but I'm sure Jordan and the team would hook you up. Also, I thought this bar would be much dirtier, but it was really clean for that small town dive bar experience.
