When you walk in you almost feel like you're walking into a neighborhood pizza place -- airy, clean, and simply decorated but then you are their for the food, right? And it was really good! I got a chicken taco salad that was filled with rice, lettuce, pico, cheese and of course chicken. It was almost like a neighborhood Chipotle in that they had a wide variety of ingredients to pick from that you could see and watch as they assembled you meal in front of you. The flavors together were delicious. I would do it again, for sure. My fiancé ordered a pupussa which they made by hand. It took a few minutes but the wait was definitely work it. Hot melted cheese, chicken and more... it was really good. Service is very friendly,courteous and offered advice for those unsure what they wanted in their taco salad or other creations. Disappointed. Will not return. My quesadilla was mediocre. My husband's taco salad was among the worst he's ever had. The steak in the taco salad was so-so. The guacamole was more onion than avocado. We ordered chips and salsa and the salsa was inedible because, like the guacamole, it had more onions than anything else. To spend almost $40.00 to receive such low quality food, next time I'll go to Taco Bell. read more

Everything was made to order. Hot, fresh and delicious. Quesadillas were packed with freshly grilled chicken and tons of cheese. Hard shell Tacos were crisp and had a great salty flavor. Being from California, the atmosphere was not what I expected. But, it was clean, bright and quiet, (of course I was there at 4:30 on Friday afternoon). I chose the carnitas burrito bowl. EXCELLENT MEXICAN FOOD. It's extremely FRESH & the flavors are OUTSTANDING! I had a carnitas & a bar a pair soft taco & BOTH were DELISH. The red hot sauce is SPICY but FAB! There has to be a reason why the last review was five months ago. Maybe people are so disgusted that they don't have the energy to leave a review and they figure... Why bother? I know Chipotle is a chain restaurant, but they turn food faster so it will be fresher. Additionally, I went in and waited several minutes because nobody came to greet me. I had to go to the end of the counter and call for somebody and from that point forward she acted put out. The other irritants may be petty, but there were several other things that went on during the transaction that really turned me off. I wouldn't bother unless you want to go at lunchtime where the food is turning fast and somebody has to be there to deal with you. Good luck. I kept seeing people post about Mary's Tex Mex, so I decided to give it a try. Most of the posts that I saw compared it to Chipotle. The only comparison would be going thru a cafeteria style line and picking what you want. I wasn't impressed. At all. I ordered regular tacos, and my friend ordered a quesadilla. The food was mediocre at best...and I make better quesadillas at home. If you want Chipotle-like food, it is best to stick with Chipotle. read more

The place was so clean (we came close to closing time so got to see the intense cleaning that happened). Great prices with indoor and outdoor seating. Will be our new go-to for Mexican! This is a really great new restaraunt! The food is fresh and they have a diverse menu. We've been a few times now, and have had great experiences every time. My kids live it too. They have fresh cooked meats that are cut to order and cook everything to order. We've tried the fajitas, burritos, burrito bowls, chicken nachos, chicken tacos, and the kid's meals. Very yummy spot! Decided to pop in rather than drive across town for burritos. Called ahead to make sure that their dining room was open and staff was very friendly and helpful (both on the phone and in person!) Prices were a tad high but not overly so. Dining room was pristinely clean. Slight issue when we were sitting below the television that was playing the restaurant's music. Music was lovely, but keep in mind that it's showing music videos and album covers that aren't necessarily kid-appropriate (had my son swivel in his seat to avoid some cover art nudity.) Certainly not the restaurant's fault directly, just something to keep in mind. read more

The food tastes amazing! Very fresh ingredients...Mary's serves up fast-causal, Tex-Mex food that is waaaay better than competitors. I've tried the Chicken Taco Salad and the Chicken Quesadilla, and both were excellent. The salsas and guacamole were really good as well. (And I usually do not like most guacamole that I try.) Staff were all really nice. The owner/manager greeted me when I walked in and showed me the menu. It's a cozy environment that appeared to be very clean. There were a couple small, barista-style tables out front for use on a sunny day. Mary's also has online ordering, which I will try in the near future. This place is great. Anyone who says its not is probably a franchise loving Karen or wants "authentic tex mex" and goes to chipotle. Its extremely clean and well kept, the inside is warming and the aesthetics are nice. The food was great, meat well seasoned, portions were nice, and ingredients tastes fresh.
