I knew by the menu options that I read online that I was gonna be a fan because on their weekly lunch menu had Speedy Gonzales on the menu! We are a big fans of this casual Mexican style restaurant. This place keeps getting worse. We finally got seated and ordered pretty quickly because we were getting hungry. Drinks came pretty quick so service was okay so far. The food came out, but everything was straight-up low quality. The seafood tasted like cheap frozen junk that had been thawed and slapped on a plate -- rubbery, fishy, and flavorless. The rest of the meal was just as bad, like they used the cheapest ingredients possible and hoped nobody would notice. Zero effort, zero taste, and zero respect for customers. Stopped in to this location for lunch and it was busy but the service was fast. It is richly decorated throughout the restaurant and the arrangements give the booth some privacy. The food was pretty decent and our lunch for two was only $29. Food was tasty and hot and we would certainly go back if we were in the area. read more

We went for lunch on a Sunday after this place being highly recommended. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice and decorated well. All the staff was friendly and the menu was extensive. It was 2 adults and 4 kids. 2 being under 2 so they just picked from the plates of others. I ordered the fajitas and my husband orders a special. Kids ordered a salad and tacos. My fajita portion was very large. I found the food was cooked well but bland. It needed more seasoning. While i still ate my meal and enjoyed it to N extent i have had better elsewhere. My husbands was shredded beef in a tortilla covered in a cheese sauce. It was very bland. He only ate one of the two they gave him and didn't care to take the other home. My son liked the tacos and i don't try them but the meat looked very unseasoned. My daughter's green salad was really lacking. It was shredded iceberg lettuce with some sliced veggies on top which i guess was ok cuz that's what she wanted but what really was not great is they don't out the dressing on it and it came in the like packet you get from. We stopped here for lunch while visiting the area, and were pleasantly surprised by the place and our dishes. Firstly, as others have said, if you're a fan of the colorful decor, you're in luck! The booths and tables boast the riot of colors and art that lifts your mood. It's hard to be miserable when surrounded by bright yellows, reds, blues, and greens! We both ordered from the lunch menu. Prices were a little higher than some others for their lunch menu, but the helpings are extremely generous to make up for it. Hubs had the lunch fajitas and said they were definitely a five. Flavorful AND plentiful. The lunch cost was $12.99. I ordered the huevos rancheros, and although I ate way more than I should have, I still brought half of it home. I can't wait to dig in for another meal! $10.99 The free chips and salsa came out fast and delicious. Unless you're super picky I don't see why you can't happily procure yourself some good eats here. Saw this restaurant from my hotel room for the last 3 weeks I was in town and didn't check it out until the day before I left, which I now deeply regret! I see a lot of people saying it's expensive but maybe because I'm from NYC I find it pretty reasonable! I had a large (fishbowl) mango margarita which was the perfect balance of tasty and strong and it was (only) $15.99. For my meal I had the grilled shrimp over rice with cheese sauce (I think $21). This was sooo good and the portion was huge!, I could not finish it and had to take half to go. My friends had the burrito, which was huge! The tacos (served with rice and beans), and the barbacoa(he said it didn't taste like barbacoa but that it tasted good. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was good. My favorite is carne asada tacos (soft corn tortilla, onions, and cilantro). I have tried them at Fiesta Tapatia, Las Trancas, and Taco Loco and have been very unimpressed. The beef is stringy, overcooked, and partially burnt. Tastes like it has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Do yourself a favor and find the More Than Just Tacos food truck. Every order is freshly grilled and they use quality meats. I will never again eat at any of the first three Mexican restaurants. They are terrible. read more

Have been visiting the area for many years and decided to try this restaurant. My first impression was wow how beautifully decorated and elaborate the inside as well as when you get out of your car your greeted by Mexican music, reminds me of being in Mexico. There is a large menu selection, I was a little surprised at the prices for the area seem high. I ordered shrimp tacos and husband ordered the jumping burrito. Serves was great fast and she had suggestions. Food came out quick even with a full restaurant. I got the shrimp tacos which were delicious and it was a bountiful amount of shrimp. My husband got the jumpin jammin burrito which was a burrito with peppers and onions smothered in queso. My first reaction was it was huge, two meals in one and he said it was delicious. Our service was deplorable, 10 minutes sitting for our servant to approach us, we ordered drinks and meals at the same time because of the slowness of the service, when you think it can't be worse they surprise you, my food was delivered but not my girlfriend's, she waited for her plate 10 more minutes. This is by far the worst "Mexican" restaurant I've ever been to... not only did I find a hair in my supposedly called "burrito" but the lettuce, and the tomato looked discolored... let me tell ya that the taste was even worse. Not even 10 mins into my food my stomach started feeling sick. I'm pretty sure some of the food was heated up in the microwave because the outside of the food was warm while the inside was hella cold. We got our water and some chips and then waited for 15 minutes for our server to return and get our. 15 minutes is not a long wait when busy but it was very early and slow. Alls good though because our server was courteous and did a good job on helping us order. The chips were fresh and the salsa was great. I keep trying to give this place a chance. The food is OK, but the service is TERRIBLE! Their hours -posted on the door- on Friday are 11 am - 10 PM. My mom and I decided to go out for tacos, so she recommended this place. The inside decor was quite nice, and you get free chips and salsa as a starter which is always a plus. Our food came out quickly, but unfortunately I was not impressed at all. I've had way better. First off, I wanted shrimp tacos, which I didn't see anywhere on their menu. That was a disappointment right there. Secondly, I'm a fan of the street style tacos, which generally have cilantro, onions, and sometimes a lime to go with it. The only tacos I saw on the menu were just plain Americanized ground beef tacos with just lettuce and cheese. They were listed under the Combinations section as three tacos with rice and refried beans. That's what we both ordered. It was $14 for each meal, which was one of the cheapest items on the menu. I definitely thought that was a bit much. I've gotten a better taco meal elsewhere for half that price. When my meal came, all of my tacos were wrapped up in foil. I'm not sure if that was to help keep them hot or what, but it wasn't very appealing looking. I tried one of the tacos first, and there wasn't much to it. Just beef with lettuce and some cheese. The beef was decent tasting, but I added some hot sauce and sour cream to my tacos for extra flavor. What I absolutely hated about these tacos was that they were a greasy and soggy mess. I've never had tacos that had this much grease in them before. It was just dripping out everywhere, and all of the grease and completely soaked into my soft tortilla shells and made them soggy and gross. Some of the worst tacos I've ever eaten, honestly. The refried beans weren't too bad, but they were a bit salty. The rice was dry and not very good. So even the sides couldn't make up for the bad tacos. Nothing about this meal left me satisfied in any way. I doubt I will ever be back. read more

So we normally love this place. Clean, nicely spaced out, and good food though a tad pricey in comparison to some other Mexican restaurants. The last time we went, we were informed that extra chips and salsa would have an additional cost on the bill. We first ordered extra salsa which was $2.99. We then had to order extra chips and salsa which was $7.99. So an extra $11 on the bill. Hopefully this is something that is temporary but it left a sting and we probably won't be back for a long time and if we do return we will ask them to hold off the on the chips and salsa for when the entree arrives. Also if they are going to charge extra for salsa, customers should get more salsa than the tiny black bowl which looks like it holds a half a cup. The restaurant was crowded. Perhaps they are trying to make up for lost Covid revenue but it made us not want to return. read more

My kids took me here for Mothers Day. I got a chicken fajita and fries....which was very delicious... so much food I took half home with me. So happy to get the same waitress we had last time as she was so pleasant. My daughter had a fajita as well. Great Mexican food! This place fall short of five stars only because of the spacing. Six of us showed up and they put us in a small, i mean, SMALL booth. We requested to move to a table with more room and were quickly told yes with the exception of the 'big table' that seats 10. The other tables weren't that big; nonetheless, we did with what we had. The drinks (margaritas) were great! The food excellent! The server (same guy that sat us) was not as well as I would like. Several times we explained we wanted sux separate checks and every time we place a order he would ask, all one check or separate? I'm ok with two or three times but the fifth and sixth time was just annoying. He spoke great and didn't really seem to be a barrier in language, and I wish I could say there was a full restaurant but there wasn't. Not sure if the waiter just had an off day. Came here for the first time with group of 5 some who are regulars. We were super impressed with the service and ambience of the place. We love how each chair is different and full of colors. Very unique for Martinsburgh. Decent price and good amount of draft available. Probably one of the best Mexican place in Martins-burg. We got the Texan Fajita to share for 2. Beans and rice was perfect and the hot skillet full with shrimp, pork and chicken was amazing due to well seasoning. The group had a great time and will be back. read more
