Nicole ordered the Cafe Martini, made with Wheatley Vodka, cold brew, hazelnut, chocolate, and bitters, along with the Two Apple Spinach Salad with bacon, cheddar, candied pecans, red onion, tomatoes, and sherry mustard vinaigrette. Brian had a local draft beer and the BBQ Chopped Salad, which came loaded with BBQ chicken, crisp tortillas, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, corn, red onions, and creamy cilantro ranch. I went with the non-alcoholic Peach Refresher, made with Seedlip Grove, fresh lemon, peach purée, honey, and ginger. For dinner, I had the Balsamic Chicken with buttermilk-chive mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, roasted red peppers, caramelized mushrooms and onions, and lemon chicken jus. It was a hearty comfort-food meal with plenty on the plate. The restaurant has that classic diner-inspired feel but with an elevated menu and plenty of options for different tastes. We had a nice evening catching up over dinner and would definitely consider stopping by again when we're back in the Columbus/Dublin area.

Regardless, we were seated right away. We were given a spot at a high top inside but adjacent to the open windows for some fresh evening air and a nice cooling breeze. Unfortunately, service throughout the night was a little spotty. The first round of drinks took a while to come out, the app went missing, our server (who seemed slightly less than enthused all night) took the liberty of snagging an extra one for us, and then our entrees came out right at the same time. I started with the sunrise mojito. Being a bit of a rum snob, I am particularly picky when it comes to rum-based drinks and this one did not disappoint. Probably one of the best takes on a mojito I've had in quite a while. I eventually followed that up with the peach bourbon smash, which was also tasty but pretty heavy on the peach and less on the bourbon. To get started on food, we ordered the street corn nachos. Now, I do love street corn, but something about corn on top of nachos on paper doesn't exactly sound like my personal first choice. However, since my coworker was putting the food on his company card, he went that route. Man, what a mistake I made in my assumption. Absolutely amazing. Gooey cheese, excellent flavors, and not too much to fill you up. My coworker got the shrimp capellini, which looked excellent and he agreed it was solid. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich (a gochujang aioli? Come on). The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was indeed crispy but also quite juicy. The fries were also delicious being slightly soft, slightly crisp, and not too salty. All in all, a couple service hiccups aside, this was a really fantastic place. I definitely will be sure to make my way back here if I find myself on another work trip for sure!

The bartender was a bit slow and lacked a lot of people skills. Never asked how things were before, during or after eating. But that's the only reason this place got 4 stars. Dinner was delicious. Ordered the Miso Salmon. The fish was okay, nothing special and surprisingly small (I'm thinking 4oz), but the dish was delicious. Never had carrot hummus before, but it really worked on this plate. EVERYTHING on the plate worked together very well! Could have put shit on a shingle over that plate and it would have been delicious. After waiting a bit for flash to drop the check, I realized it was in a bar glass in front of me. Nice to see my Mich Ultra was only $3!

We also had the burger, the Nashville chicken sandwich, steak frites and a couple of kids meals. Our server was very nice and helped us navigate the menu. The margarita was great, the mai tai was the original recipe (strong with lime, not fruity), and the espresso martini, which was good though maybe just a touch watery. We started with the buffalo chicken dip, which came with celery and tortilla chips. Really delicious (I'm from Buffalo so I can attest to its quality, despite it not using bleu cheese, which I actually appreciated) and definitely something I would order again. I got the chicken caesar salad, which came with some tasty croutons and fairly large parmesan shavings, and was again impressed. One of my coworkers got a taco trio, which looked really tasty, and then my other coworker and I split the BBQ chicken flatbread, which was also fantastic. We were able to get some seats outside on their really nice outdoor patio, though the interior had a lot of nice looking seating accommodations of all sorts as well, none of which felt like it was cramped or busy by any means. Our server was also very nice and checked in on us regularly. All in all, a really solid experience. The menu had lots of delicious sounding burgers and salads, not to mention a good assortment of mocktails. Definitely a place I would come back to next time I'm in town!

"No Soliciting " is a bar we found online - but didn't realize is a private club for members only. We tried The Pearl next door. They were closing in minutes. So we found that North High was the next closest place that closed at 10:00pm. We were also desperate for a restroom. We walked in - the place was devoid of customers - and the bar tender was NOT happy to see us. She had a very long day - and was yearning to "Just. Go. Home." We've all been there. She agreed to let us have one drink in plastic cups - completely understandable. But she messed up by letting us stay - completely underestimating the level of style & charm (not to mention handsomeness) my colleague and I possess *wink* . "One drink" turned into a handful. A good time was had by all. We hated that we had an early morning the next day - and had to return to our hotel well before we would have liked. I will make North High a "mandatory stop" on future visits (alongside my other "mandatory stop" - The Rusty Bucket for their buffalo chicken sandwich - with an extra side of buffalo). Side note - she gave me a taste of their Bloody Mary mix. *VERY* good. I used some of my dashing character and disarming baby blues to swindle them out of a bottle for only $15. It was worth $50. But this was a one-off deal. Don't walk in there expecting the same courtesy - unless you too possess unmatched panache & flair *finger guns*.
