If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Highly recommend, staff is wonderful. Let me start off by saying that the employees at Luna Grill went way above and beyond what was expected saved the day (as well as our hides ) and really blew our minds! We had a huge lunch order (30ppl) at the last minute. We couldn't order online, we needed it ready pretty much 15 minutes after they'd open and the only option was after 12p. We couldn't call because they were closed. So, we were outside the restaurant waiting at least an hour before it opened to catch the first employee that came in. (Yes, this is how desperate we were) They took our HUGE order and ROCKED it!!! It was ready right when we needed it! They really had to work hard to get all of this together in such a short amount of time *on top of orders they already had scheduled for that day* The cherry on top of the cake, on top of the ice cream, on top of the sprinkles they had already served us up, they had an order that cancelled and they gifted us that order too!!! She said that she saw we were feeding a lot of people and we could use it! Over 30 Drs, RNs, LVNs and office staff were SO GRATEFUL! If fast food had a healthy cousin... My absolute favorite, quick, on-the-go food to stop by into on my way in or out of work at the Promenade Mall in Temecula, CA. They know me by face and (hopefully) by name and know my order as soon as I'm in there, unless I decide to be adventurous and try something new that day. I've been coming here for quite awhile now and Luna never fails me. Since it's been quite some time of me attending, my favorites have changed over the years depending on if they add new things or take away some things. Currently, my all-time favorite that I order religiously is their new Santorini Bowls. It's a beautifully structured bowl with couscous, hummus, kale salad, basmati rice, pickled onions, kalamata olives and their AMAZINGLY seasoned chicken. Make sure you try it at least once cause they did say they didn't know how long they were going to be on the menu. My other all time favorites include their Greek Salad (modded to include spinach instead of their spring mix), lentil soup, stuffed grape leaves, spicy feta appetizer, chipotle chicken pita wrap and their gyros quesadilla! Every single thing I have tried on their menu never disappoints me. The Temecula location can get pretty wild but this is common because it is in outside shops of a very busy mall. They're open from 11AM to 9PM everyday except Sunday. This is a chain Mediterranean modernized restaurant and I can actually say I enjoy this place more than a lot of the traditional Greek food places. Before I ever tried it out I remembered thinking that it looked cheap and like the food wouldn't taste as good as the traditional stuff. But boy was I wrong! read more

Modern Greek Salad with warm chicken kabob was fresh and delicious. Kabob chicken plate with rice and humus . Chicken was a tad dry this visit . Service was friendly however after paying over 40$ plus a tip for two plates of food and having to get up and ask for the dressing for the salad and also the side tazaki sauce I ordered did not make me a happy camper . Location is nice ,big windows and clean over all . I am a big Luna fan but was a little put off having to get up and ask for missing items when I had already tipped . The food itself is good, but the location is terrible for a quick lunch. Don't use GPS because it will take you to the other side of the mall. The closest parking is in the structure, so it can take a few minutes to park during busy times... which is really all the time at the promenade. It would be great if they offered a curbside service. I ordered a kids meal online and everything was ready when I got there. The place is very clean inside and was comfortable to sit and dine in, Catherine was friendly and had suggestions, she recommended the beef and chicken plate with the spicy hummus and side salad. The plate came with a few pieces of pita bread which were soft and pillowy. The meat was tender which I loved! The salad was nice it had onion, tomato, and cucumbers that all were fresh tasting. Over all I had a great meal. All the staff seemed happy about working there, with it being difficult to keep employees now a days, I would suggest to make them feel appreciated and provide pay increases or some type of incentive to keep them there. I used to LOVE coming to Luna Grill near the mall. The food is tasty and they always had excellent customer service. The last 3-4 months have been a huge change. Several times we've either called in an order or come in (an hour prior to closing) and they've turned us away. Once they even told us they ran out of food. What resteraunt near the mall runs out of food? Talk about poor planning. Today I come in to order at 7:20. They close at 8:00. They said I had to take it to go. I couldn't even eat it on the patio. I called to their attention they close at 8:00 and the excuse was they are understaffed. Meanwhile there's 2 girls behind the counter, 2 people in the kitchen and 2 eating on the side lobby. Meanwhile there are at least 3 guests also sitting on the side. There's no reason we couldn't stay to eat. I'm not sure if there was an owner change, management change or what's going on. Well I am sorry to have to give this place only 2 stars. The food was pretty decent; however, no specified seating for the disabled and VERY HIGH PRICES. Lunch for 2 included 2 El Grg Street Bowls $15; 2 Zesty Orange sodas $6; 2 Baklava $3 and the surprise charge of chopped Gyros $4.50 that went on the El Grg Street Bowls. Tax $2.49 The total tab $30.99 First of all one could only see a small amount of the Gyros meat on the actual dish. Naturally I assumed the actual dish would have a substantial amount of meat. For $7.50 the dish should at the very least look like the model photograph. Instead we each received a lovely dish that included fresh chopped tomatoes, peppers, feta, loads of french fries and a tiny tiny bit of Gyro meat. (maybe a 1 tablespoon if that). To be fair, the dish was quite tasty and we really enjoyed the tiny serving of Baklava. read more

We just tried to order dinner on Grub Hub. After an hour they called and said that they didn't have the beef and asked if we would still like to continue with our order. I had to prompt them into replacing the protein. I asked for the lamb. They didn't have lamb. Only chicken, gyro and salmon were now available. We reluctantly ordered the salmon to replace the beef kabob. Another hour passes and we were contacted and told that our order was never received and they cancelled our order. Fresh, lively and delicious! Luna Grill is my favorite sidewalk cafe. The staff were friendly and upfront there was a 20 minute wait. It was worth it! You can sit at one of the tables outside to enjoy a book or chat. The food arrived and I devoured the chicken Santorini bowl of basmati rice, chicken, kale, Israeli couscous, hummus and tzatziki and pesto. Everything was seasoned perfectly.
